Simple yet effective
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy and quick to use, so picking it up and running with it is a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
No real complaints about anything, so not applicable for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualizing processes and complex charts are a breeze, and integral to our operations team and the other functions that we support.
Excellent Product!
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud-based, storage files keep your documents organized, many template options, fairly priced
What do you dislike about the product?
I only wish there were more intuitive auto formatting features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing process mapping to life with visual representation
Overcome your challenges with great visuals
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way we can collaborate with teammates. You can easily create IT and process diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of integration with other tools such as Microsoft 365 (word, excel, ...)
Maybe more templates should help, especially for IT departments.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration during weekly teams meeting.
My favorite remote-UX tool for whiteboard-style interaction
What do you like best about the product?
A good balance of simplicity and complexity… systems like the "gather all related sticky notes" or the way you input stickies is _brilliant_.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the permissions dance… it's sometimes a hassle to get everyone into the file simultaneously, I wish there was a way to do that before the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are attempting to allow equal access for stakeholders to the design process and design decisions. I really like giving everyone a hand… stickies, notes… it's an amazing tool for it.
Modern Workplace Collaborations are Fun Again
What do you like best about the product?
As a company committed to continuous improvement, we struggled to use the same coloration tools virtually that we had grown comfortable using in more analogue collaboration. Whiteboards was an incredible addition to the Lucid suite of tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with all new tools, there is a learning curve for getting the most out of the tool. We were fortunate enough to be walked through Lucid by their team on video calls, but without a show-and-tell it requires someone with curiosity and a lot of trial to fully realize what Lucid can do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration. Specifically making our whiteboard and stickies process--which was key to collaboration in our business--had no digital option when working from home began. That had disrupted our projects and collaboration and Lucid swooped in and offered whiteboards that really got us back on track. Prior to whiteboard specifically, our improvement process had almost ground to a halt.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to integrate Lucid into Teams using their plugins. We are also a Teams org, and using both the Lucid and LucidSpark add-ins for Teams helps centralize my communication tools.
Also don't hesitate to reach out to Lucid for a one-on-one or one-on-many tutorial. Lucid' as team is terrific, seemingly always available, and open to presenting the tools in a way that benefits your needs--they don't just roll through a canned routine.

Excellent mapping and remote collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of creating diagrams. Coming from Visio, this makes mapping SO much quicker and easier. Online collaboration is a huge plus, as well, especially with so many of us working from home. Our team has been able to use whiteboarding in our meetings to hash out both short and long-term planning; the benefits of using voting and polling of ideas have been immeasurably helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say I've experienced any pain points yet. I'm tempted to say the cloud aspect because without an Internet connection (ie traveling on a flight for business, etc.), you can't use it. This is a minimal inconvenience, however, for the vast benefits that having a cloud-based application as powerful as this one are numerous in the day to day use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process mapping and other diagramming applications primarily. This tool has been an excellent resource for our Continuous Improvement initiatives, allowing us to quickly and easily map current state and future state processes as we strive to improve our efficiencies as an agency.
Great tool for easy collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and simple to get started - very easy to use! Love that I can easily access both Lucidchart and Lucidspark documents in the same place
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not always clear when chart or spark is the best option based on what I'm working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We regularly use it to present information in an easy to digest, graphical way.
Great collaborative functionality for teams
What do you like best about the product?
Aside from being a cinch for existing Lucid users to pick up and collaborate with their teams, the baseline features are pretty intuitive for users unfamiliar with digital whiteboarding. Easy to organize, expand, comment, and iterate the board over multiple sessions. Importing isn't perfect, but it is nice to have when team members need to unify ideas/plans drawn up elsewhere. Spell-check, breakout boards, and voting are great bonus features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Live, multi-user collaboration can get more complicated with large teams (not an issue unique to Lucidspark). It would be great if Lucidchart and Lucidspark were even more closely connected, but I suppose they can't be one product, and one must draw a line somewhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration across business units (especially outside product) and participatory design sessions with clients/users.
Excellent took to design process other diagrams.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy use of the tool with low cost. The tool is flexible to make changes and to collaborate with other members of your team and organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need more icons to be added to the tools to ensure users are not downloading and importing new icons to developed diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I dont need to spend a large amount of money into other tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an inexpensive solution with a lot of powerful options, Lucidchart is your tool.
Easy to Navigate and Friendly User Interface
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and excellent user interface. I also like the way we can use it to share and collaborate with people
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, everything is good. I'll have to explore it more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
