Versatile Scheduling and Monitoring With an Easy Interface, But Needs Improvement in Capabilities

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
You can use it for many things like, scheduling, monitoring, analytics, competitors. It has a friendly user experience and interface, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inaccurate analytics - consistently. I will only use the data from certain data points, but everything else I usually have to pull natively in the app.
Performance/failed posts.
Instagram integrations and capabilities aren't always updated in a timely fashion, i.e. having more than 10 images in an album or saving the thumbnail photo for a Reel when posting as a Mobile Publisher.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me have all my scheduling and analytics in once place.

Time-Saving Social Media Management with Room for More Integrations

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social for scheduling, publishing, reporting, community management, and calendar planning. I also use the Employee Advocacy platform. The integration between the main tool and Employee Advocacy is my favorite feature. I really like that it helps with efficiency by allowing me to manage almost everything in one platform, which is particularly valuable when scheduling Employee Advocacy content from the main Sprout platform. It has streamlined my workflow significantly compared to my previous experience with separate platforms, saving me time. I appreciate that Sprout simplifies reporting efforts and makes it easy to digest metrics. Sharing our planned-out calendar with stakeholders who don't have a seat is super helpful for ensuring alignment on content going live. Setting it up was easy since Sprout is one of the more intuitive social media platforms I've worked with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Sprout Social could really benefit from having more integrations with other platforms. It would be great if it could connect with Adobe Express for publishing or sending content from there. I also find the social listening feature a bit too expensive; it would be nice if it were more cost-efficient. If Sprout integrated with other social listening platforms that our business already pays for, that would be great too. The pricing model where you pay for each seat also makes it a bit pricey. There are platforms out there that don't charge per seat, which makes them a tad more affordable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social increases efficiency by handling multiple tasks in one platform, simplifies reporting, and helps align content with stakeholders. The integration with Employee Advocacy saves me time, benefiting my role as the main organic social/EA lead.

Centralized social messaging has strengthened patient engagement and increased dental bookings

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Sprout Social is to manage our dental clinic's online presence and engagement with patients. We use Sprout Social to post on different social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter simultaneously. Using Sprout Social, we can monitor patient comments, messages, and inquiries that we receive on those posts. We can run different campaigns, including educational campaigns and promotional campaigns using Sprout Social.

For our educational and promotional campaigns using Sprout Social, we post videos and images promoting oral healthcare, such as how to brush your teeth and how to keep your gums healthy. We can schedule those posts using Sprout Social and they get posted at the scheduled time. For a promotional campaign, if we are coming up with some discount or promotional offer on our treatment such as scaling, tooth whitening, or root canal treatment, we can schedule those posts also using Sprout Social.

How has it helped my organization?

Sprout Social has positively impacted our organization by increasing the social presence of our dental clinic as we are regularly posting educational videos and posts about oral health. The second benefit is that more and more patients are engaging with those posts and those inquiries are getting converted into appointments, which helps to increase the revenue of the clinic. Since we can use scheduled posts, it requires less manual intervention. The posts get posted automatically and we do not have to worry about navigating through different social media accounts. It saves time and increases the efficacy of our dental staff.

Since using Sprout Social, I have seen metrics showing time savings because we do not have to post new content on social media every time. We can schedule it on Sprout Social and it gets posted. It helps to increase revenue as when we run some promotional campaigns using Sprout Social, new patients get engaged with those posts and those new posts help to attract patients into our dental clinic, which helps to increase the revenue and profit of our clinic.

What is most valuable?

The best features Sprout Social offers are scheduling posts. We can schedule posts according to our needs. Whenever we want the post to be posted, we can schedule it. The second thing is the smart inbox. Messages, whether they are received on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, can all be viewed in one place so it is easy to reply to those messages that we receive from patients. There is also a feature called smart listening where we can know what people are talking about regarding our dental clinic and our treatment, and we can address those issues in one place.

We also use Sprout Social for patient engagement. Using the feature of smart inbox, we can receive all messages and mentions and chats from all the social media in one place. So we can answer patients regarding their queries more effectively and more efficiently.

The schedule post feature is the one I use the most because we do not have to come back and navigate across each social media while posting. We can easily schedule the post and it gets posted at the time across all the social media without the hassle of navigating through different accounts.

Scheduling the post, smart inbox, and social listening are only good features. These features help engage more and more patients and really help us connect with our patient queries and help us reply to them in a very short period of time.

Sprout Social is a really good, reliable tool for increasing our online presence and handling patient queries, messages, and comments all in one place without navigating through different social media accounts. The schedule post and smart inbox features are really good and really help to increase our efficacy.

What needs improvement?

Sprout Social can be improved by lowering the pricing. It is on the expensive side. For a new user to learn about Sprout Social, there is a learning curve because there is a wide range of features present in Sprout Social which takes time to get used to.

Sprout Social can be more focused on being a healthcare communication tool. They can add more templates and campaigns related to healthcare, such as educational and promotional healthcare campaigns. For example, we are promoting our oral healthcare or some preventative dental checkup campaign. They can modify that to better suit healthcare organizations. Another thing is that they can integrate with the booking patient appointment system so that the inquiries get converted into patient appointments.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Sprout Social for more than one year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Sprout Social is quite stable and it can easily handle the number of inquiries and messages that we receive from our patients at once.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Sprout Social is highly scalable and easily manages the growing requirements of our dental clinic.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support for Sprout Social is good.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I did not use any different solution prior to Sprout Social.

How was the initial setup?

My experience with pricing is that it is subscription-based. It depends on which subscription we are taking, whether it is standard, professional, or advanced. The setup is quite straightforward. We just have to connect our different social media accounts and we can start scheduling posts and sending messages to our patients. Licensing is also based on the number of users accessing the platform.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment as we are getting more appointments through the engagement of educational and promotional posts that we do through Sprout Social. As newer patients are engaging with those posts, those engagements are getting converted into new appointments, which increases revenue. It saves time because Sprout Social handles all the social media in one place, so we do not have to navigate through different social media accounts for posting something. We can easily schedule the post and it gets posted across all the social media platforms at once.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did not evaluate any other options before choosing Sprout Social. I chose Sprout Social because it is one of the best tools.

What other advice do I have?

My advice for others looking into using Sprout Social is that they can really go for it. It increases the social outreach of the organization and helps bring more and more customers or patients to their organization. As we are socially more active and replying to the messages of the patients promptly, those responses help maintain consistent communication between the patient and the organization, which helps in trust building. The social and promotional campaigns also help increase the number of patients coming to our dental clinic, which increases revenue. It saves time because we can manage all the social media platforms from one dashboard.

I found this interview to be really comprehensive and to the point and it really covers all the valid points that we need to know about any software. I would rate this product an eight out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social offers robust and comprehensive metrics that make it easy to track performance and gain actionable insights. The employee advocacy tools are especially user-friendly, making it simple to amplify content across teams. Additionally, the platform makes it easy to manage multiple social profiles efficiently, all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven’t encountered any major issues. One area for improvement would be more flexibility when posting across platforms—specifically, the ability to send content to employee advocacy on LinkedIn while simultaneously publishing to other channels like Facebook. It would also be helpful to more easily customize and post platform-specific variations without having to create entirely new posts each time.

Sprout Social helps streamline social media management by allowing me to manage posting across all accounts in one place. It also supports boosting employee engagement through its advocacy tools, making it easier to share and amplify content internally. Additionally, the ability to easily export metrics saves time and provides valuable insights to inform strategy and measure performance.
