Review from Social Specialist at an Agency
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social has done a great job implementing user-friendly and convenient options for social analysts, managers, and community engagement specialist. The scheduling feature is my favorite because of ease-of-use. I love the new option to schedule a post on Instagram and Facebook profiles at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest issue with Sprout has been failed posts, which don't usually have an explanation or reason. After speaking with competitor platforms, I also believe there should be more premium analytics in the base package, such as combined organic and paid metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social is problem-solving, allowing less time for administrative tasks associated with my role, including ease of scheduling, reporting, and sharing content. This allows me to finalize and manage content easily, share with the necessary parties, and report on annual and quarterly metrics.
User-friendly and fun to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Sprout lays all posts out in daily, weekly, monthly summaries so you can visualise what you've been working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't create IG carousels mixing videos and photos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting and scheduling within our team, easy approvals.
Incredible functionality with some quality of life adjustments wanted.
What do you like best about the product?
The data, analytics and the Smart Inbox, it makes responding quick and easy. Easily integrates into our workflows as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it separated paid and organic a little better and didn't lock some features behind paid add-ons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Case Management, Social Scheduling, Community Management, Analytics, Copywriting
Pricey, but top-tier!
What do you like best about the product?
I've used several different social media management platforms, and Sprout is well above the rest. Yes, there are plenty of similarities to other platforms, but Sprout also has functionalities that others don't. The analytics is the portion I lean into the most, and scheduling capability is very easy to use and update.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price of Sprout can get high, especially if you start to add on different things like their social listening options. I'm also not a fan of their "story" options for posting because of there still being a very manual aspect to it, which can be cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The analytics are very in-depth and that has helped to better connect with my audiences. We've seen a gradual increase in engagement and overall reach.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to plan my calendar of posts ahead of time. Scheduling posts at specific times is a great feature, and the added capability to use AI for writing makes it even better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could draft a single post for all platforms and set different delivery times for each platform within that post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social Listening and being able to know what others are doing.
Sprout allows a multitude of users administer multiple social media channels seamlessly.
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is easy to use and with avid practice, not difficult to master. Sprout allows for large teams to work cohesively across whatever number of profiles your organization requires. My Sprout Social support team has always been incredibly responsive and open to feedback. This makes it easy to address when things go awry while using the platform.
The overall input response system is intuitive and easy to use, which is important in this line of work.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout's limitations to certain search functions on LinkedIn and the inability to respond to Instagram posts from within the platform will hinder a social team hungry for opportunities. The inability to respond to your own published content from other owned channels is also disappointing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows for customer contact to be addressed and actioned upon very easily, even when done in massive quantities.
Onboarded Sprout to 3 work places for social support
What do you like best about the product?
I have worked in social media across broad industries and have found Sprout to be by far the most user friendly social tool. I have onboarded 3 different social teams onto it at different workplaces, and advocated for it to be a non-negotiable in the marketing budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the broad functionality of sprout, I can sometimes find it overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has made our analytics and reporting more streamlined
I have been using Sprout Social for on year now and it is helpful most of the time.
What do you like best about the product?
Prior to Sprout, I had been using Hootsuite. I feel that I have had more success from a user standpoint with Sprout Social. The professionals at Sprout have also been very helpful in explaining the tools available to me. I love how easy it is to schedule posts at the best time per network and customize each post according to its network. It was an easy transition to use Sprout.
I use it weekly and schedule posts in advance within my role. I do struggle to find the time to adjust the captions per network to post. It takes a while for me to schedule everything I need to, but it is definitely easier than other tools/platforms.
Overall, I really enjoy using Sprout Social and appreciate how much it simplifies my work. Thank you again for inviting me to share feedback—I hope this is useful!

What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of the layout of the report feature. I sometimes find it confusing. I have listed improvements I would like to see happen below:
I really enjoy the “Customize Posts per Network” tool. Occasionally, I’ll accidentally click on the platform name above and it removes the platform from the post. It’s very easy to add back (and I’m grateful the content remains saved!), but it might be helpful if clicking there didn’t remove it in the first place.
Sometimes tagging accounts can be a little tricky. On occasion, the accounts I’m looking for don’t populate.
It would be wonderful if there were options to choose different photo layouts for Facebook posts, which is something you can do natively in Meta.
The preview for X sometimes cuts off our username outside the box. It’s not a big issue, but an adjustment here could improve readability.
Sometimes, the photos that are posted are blurry, no matter the quality level. This is completely random.
Another issue with tagging is that it wouldn't let me schedule a post when tagging several accounts. The accounts populated fine, then the post continuously failed. It only posted when I removed all of the tags.
It would be great to schedule Instagram stories that can include a sticker like location, ask me a question, or polls. This is something I always have to do natively. It would be cool if we could add music too.
