User-Friendly and Insightful, But Metrics Can Lag Behind Meta
What do you like best about the product?
I like how user friendly sprout social is. Whether someone is a first time user or a veteran, Sprout ensures that the user is walked through the most recent updates, as well as trained to be able to pull any information needed. Sprout is also super helpful in the sense that it puts the plethora of information received into a report based off of the most popular things someone would need to track, and then allows it to be customized based off of what the user needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main dislike towards Sprout Social is sometimes the metrics vary from Meta Business Suite. I know it takes a while to update from Meta to Sprout, but when pulling major reports, I have to run through both Meta and sprout to ensure the numbers are the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout puts all of the analytics in one place, which makes it easy to review what does well. Additionally, it is very helpful for scheduling posts, as it allows for all members of the social team to be on the same page.
Effortless Content Management, But Scaling Up Is Costly
What do you like best about the product?
It makes managing content, scheduling/posting and reporting incredible easy. Using Sprout makes all workflows far more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to pay double the amount for an additional seat. It makes scaling up incredibly difficult, particularly for small marketing teams with small budgets, which them impacts productivity - which sort of undoes a lot of the good the tool delivers!

Sprout Social is great for marketers.

I love the Optimal Time feature when scheduling out post on the content calendar. It's very user and beginner friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess the only downside of using Sprout Social is the cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're constantly trying to boost engagement and the information from the social media analytics is very easy to understand. I also love the Top Post feature, so my team and I can see what our audience connects to the most.
Great Posting Time Insights, But Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the recommended posting time feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I love all of the features, I wish it was more cost effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a new marketing coordinator, I am learning when the best times to post are. Sprout's tool of most effective post times is helping me plan better. I also love that there are multiple options if the top option is too late.
Effortless Social Scheduling, Needs Enhanced Tagging
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social to schedule social media posts and analyze data. I like the ability to schedule posts ahead of time in one place. I enjoy comparing analytics because I can see how posts perform by the week and compare it to the last month or last year. The initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were tagging, like categorizing post types.

Effortless Social Management, But Pricey for Small Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Sprout Social lets me see and respond to all my messages in one place. It makes it so much easier to stay on top of comments, DMs, and mentions across multiple accounts without having to jump from app to app. The inbox layout is super clean and easy to use, and I can quickly see what’s been replied to or assigned to someone else on my team. It honestly saves me a ton of time and helps make sure no message slips through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the biggest thing I don’t love is the cost. For our small team, Sprout Social feels pretty pricey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Sprout Social helped us fix was keeping up with messages and comments. We had messages, comments, and mentions scattered across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc., and it was super easy for something to fall through the cracks. With Sprout, all our incoming engagement is pulled into one unified inbox, so we can respond to everything much faster.
Feature-Rich Platform with Excellent UX, But Reporting Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Great user experience over other social posting platforms I've used. It also has more features than most.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could drag and place notes on the calendar like you can with posts. The reports aren't always accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an agency of 20+ clients, Sprout Social makes it easy to keep all of our clients organized, send clients reports with ease, and send them calendars for approval that they can add edits directly on with notes.
Comprehensive UI, Excellent Reporting; Pricey Yet Worth It
What do you like best about the product?
I find Sprout Social absolutely invaluable for managing my company's multiple social media accounts. The primary reason I chose Sprout Social over other platforms was its comprehensive and intuitive user interface, which is exceptionally easy to navigate. It's designed to follow the natural process of publishing, scheduling, and gaining insights, making it very user-friendly compared to other platforms that sometimes resemble clunky backend systems or outdated content management systems. For anyone in a marketing team, especially those working with content, Sprout Social is a standout tool because of its robust visual editors and managers. I particularly enjoy how seamless it is to use when publishing on platforms like LinkedIn or Instagram, as it remains intuitive and visually appealing throughout. The setup process was remarkably smooth, with easy onboarding and intuitive platform connections. This ease of use extends to excellent workflow management, allowing me to streamline tasks with my team efficiently. As a director of marketing, I appreciate being able to delegate scheduling tasks and approve posts digitally rather than manually. Additionally, the reporting and insights features are standout aspects for me—offering depth and usability that's superior to other platforms I've tried. Despite considering switching due to costs, the unmatched depth of reporting and the effective workflow style were well worth the investment. Overall, Sprout Social provides excellent functionality and reporting capabilities that vastly benefit my work process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The major drawback of using Sprout Social is its cost. I find it to be quite expensive, especially when comparing it to other platforms on the market. The cost is heightened by the fact that we pay in US dollars, even though we're not a US-based company. Another issue I encounter is the lack of easy integration with Zapier. This limitation requires me to manually report data out of Sprout Social, which complicates my marketing reporting process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to manage scheduling and publishing across multiple platforms, ensuring content remains authentic. It enhances workflow management, allowing my team to schedule and seek approvals easily, reducing my manual oversight. Its reporting provides deep insights for better decision-making.
Keeps My Social Media Workflow In Shape
What do you like best about the product?
I’m in Sprout Social all day every day, with multiple brand accounts that I manage on it and what I love most is how organized it keeps everything. The publishing calendar allows me to work multiple weeks ahead and the approval process helps my team remain on the same page so we’re not bouncing messages back and forth all day. I also make a lot of use of the reporting dashboards which are simple and save me so much time when presenting campaigns to my manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every so often the platform seems a little slow when I’m flipping accounts or loading analytics especially during peak hours. And I also wish the analytics were a bit more flexible like, I’d love to be able to roll paid and organic metrics into one view to make reporting even more seamless. It was a couple of weeks before I had the thing down pat but once I ketchupped on that sandwich, everything became second nature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social enables me to have all our social activity including scheduling, engagement and analytics in one place rather than spread across five. It saves me hours every week, makes collaborating with my team more organized and make sure nothing falls through the cracks in comments or messages. It has added up to managing my multiple social channels feeling much more controlled and efficient.
All-in-One Social Platform That Covers Every Need
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it is an one-stop-shop for everything social, from pushing out our brand's material (scheduling, approving), to pulling in data (social listening, reports, competitor post analysis).
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a downside, but it does have limitations on reporting or posting - but I understand this is usually a limitation on the specific social platform's side (API connection issues).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is extremely helpful when we are trying to figure out what works (or doesn't work) with our organic posts. Comparing stats on different posts, and investigating what they have in common is made easy with the reporting tool & tags feature.
