Good product but a little pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the ease of use and the analytics.

The product was a little pricey for the service it provided.

What do you like best about the product?
Makes posting to social media SOOO EASY!!! I love that I can schedule content to go out not just to Facebook and Twitter, but also Instagram and LinkedIn! My company has seen our interactions on LinkedIn skyrocket since we started using Sprout, thanks to the ease of sharing across all of our platforms! Plus I enjoy the fact that I can have multiple "groups" on my profile for all of our business accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Sprout is really designed for someone who is a full-time social media manager and can dedicate time and energy to really exploring the full functions of the program. Sprout has a lot of impressive capabilities that I just don't have time to figure out as my job is only partially social media management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rather than spending half a day calculating reach and engagement on each platform, I can quickly export and send monthly reports to our executive director or to anyone else who needs reports pulled. It makes scheduling across all platforms simple and incredibly quick.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout is really designed for people who are full-time social media managers. It has some really incredible features that, unfortunately, I just don't have the time to dig into and learn about because only a fraction of my time at work is dedicated to social media. It's a robust, impressive product that I would highly recommend IF you have time to dedicate to using it to its full capabilities.
It has the capabilities but they're not all there
What do you like best about the product?
The analytics portion. It's all we basically use it for but I love how simple it is to be able to create an account for one of our clients and we're able to have several under our account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only one user can be under the same account, otherwise, if someone logs in with the same account the previous user gets kicked off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gathers all the data we need to report for our clients.
Basic but efficient Social Media Customer Care
What do you like best about the product?
I love how youre able to track any pending messages and/or assign them to a team member.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited reporting on the social care aspect

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is generally user friendly. If you've used another scheduling platform before you'll likely be able to guide yourself through it with little training.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have as many functions as i'd like. You can't tag people on LinkedIn, or any page on Facebook. You have to manually go into the platforms themselves to do some things and that's really inconvienient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to have all reporting in one place is really helpful. It also allows you to engage across platforms really easily. It's convenient to have all of these functions in one place as opposed to going into each social platform natively and performing these tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be aware that there are certain things that you'll be unable to do within the platform. You may have to go back and forth between your Sprout and social platforms to accomplish everything you're trying to get done.

What do you like best about the product?
Makes scheduling tweets super easy. Makes it easy to view scheduled posts and to schedule from within a tab.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can sometimes make doing simple stuff — such as scheduling tweets — a pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not many. We really don't use Sprout Social to its fullest so this review may not be entirely accurate.
Not bad, but need to add on extras to get the most of it!
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite features is the listening option. You need to pay extra for this, but it is AMAZING!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit confusing, it doesn't have the best interface, but it isn't terrible. Keep in mind I've grown up with technology. For somebody not as experienced it would be a headache.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts and being able to have it do social listening for us!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great affordable option and has amazing features that can really help with social media. It is nice to have everything all in one dashboard. It is especially nice now that you can have it post to instagram for you! When they changed instagram, it did not allow third party apps to post for you. However with that new change it is everything you could need!

It is nice to see insights from all different social media in a very user friendly way.

Can't think of anything I dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to see interaction between all our social media platforms, and it helps us see the best and worst times to post on several different platforms.
Great for bigger budgets

Very responsive mobile app (iphone) means notifications come through in pretty much real time

the cost. It is very good functionality but the cost is prohibitive for small and medium size businesses

Streamlining all social channels for customer service and content posting
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you can afford it and you need all the functionality that it offers it is worth the investment, where it falls down is the lack of options for smaller businesses. Even as a medium size business we have not used all the Sprout Social functionality as it is somewhat over tooled for our needs. However, larger corporates will find this a suitable product as you can approve content through a work flow and keep track of who is responding to comments, so no one falls down the cracks (so to speak).

What do you like best about the product?
I like the reports that analyze the results and show you improvements from the last period. And also the demographics of your following.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the glitches that occur sometimes with the pictures that are uploaded and they will go upside down or appear black and post wrong. I also dislike that the website is not user friendly and you have to search extensively for reports or for scheduled posts. The calendar that shows what you have scheduled could also be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using this to schedule social media posts. The benefits are that you can do this in the beginning of the week and not worry about posting later. This also shows you results and analytics.
