My experience with Sprout
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout was very easy to use to post on multiple pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn’t have any issues. I found this much easier to navigate than Hootesuite
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was very easy I really liked being able to choose the best times to post.
Comprehensive Social Media Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's reporting, listening, and monitoring tools are all excellent. They give me insights in one place – which is crucial when managing multiple platforms. I like the agency integration as well so I can compare paid and organic performance side by side.
What do you dislike about the product?
Replies can be finicky and I find myself navigating to the social site to be sure I am replying to the comment directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I never recognized where patterns in my engagement lay before, being able to track reports with internal content as well as competitor content. I can review trends between my own institution and competitors and make informed decisions.
Great tool for analyzing Social Media campaigns
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Sprout Social is the analytic tools it provides. It also makes posting across several platforms easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations on the way your posts look on different platforms so if you want to have full control, you still need to post individually directly on the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows us to give contracted employees access to all of our Social Media so it is easier to get our word out across as many platforms as possible. It also gives us a quick and detailed look at what is working and what is not.

If you need a good way to post across several Social Media platforms and want to see analytics for them all in one place, get Sprout Social.

I like how easy Sprout Social is to schedule and monitor content.

At first, I did not like only having on steam, but eventually it grew on me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The innovation put toward improving Instagram scheduling and monitoring options have been invaluable.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Sprout Social, is that everything is all in one place. It's easy to navigate, track customers, read data reports, etc. It has made my work-life much more proficient, easy, simple, organized and I'm able to accomplish much more in my day and understand how to marketing better to our target audience. I have already recommended Sprout Social to my friends, family, and co-workers and will continueing doing so as I believe Sprout Social is beneficial to any and everyone. No matter if you are a large agency, or an individual blogger, Sprout Social has the perfect combination for success!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how you have to pay additional fee's if you want to add on certain services, as well as that Sprout Social is not partnered with Google and often times they disconnect your social profiles randomly and you will have to re-add them which is time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving problems such as getting in touch with customers, time efficiency, and organization. I have realized that Sprout Social has solved all of these problems for me the second I signed up with them. I have also realized that rather than having my employees all doing random task and having to check their social posts individually, I can simply add them to my account and review their posts and work before it is published. It has made the work environment much much better. I couldn't imagine not using Sprout

I think anyone should sign up, as it is an easy, simple, and organized to use. Great for a large organization or an individual looking to improve their personal business.
Measuring What Matters
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate having good data. This is the foundation for making good decisions and using resources (time and money) effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not really know how to take full advantage of our account. I minimally understand the basics, but do not know how to dig deeper and zero in on specific data points.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to provide reports that quantify our social media audience and impact is the greatest benefit. The ability to compare to other accounts is also helpful.
Sprout Social makes life so much easier for me and my clients.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Sprout is that I can schedule months of post in advance. Another helpful feature is the ability to send my clients a pdf of their scheduled posts. Something that is helpful for my employees is the Note feature. I can plan out the month with the Notes, and my content creators can read everything right there. No more emailing back and forth! Amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
What happens a little too often than I would like is disconnected profiles. I would also like it if there were Alt text functions for Instagram and Facebook on Sprout. This is a big thing in my field.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social has impacted my efficiency in my work. I save so much time having Sprout do all of my posting for my multiple clients. I also appreciate the Messages function. It's nice to not have to log onto each of my client's profiles.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Educate yourself on everything Sprout has to offer! There is so much to be learned and GAINED!
Basic Sprout Social user for entering the social marketing world
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Sprout social helps you post to multiple outlets from a single composition. The calendar for future scheduling has been awesome for upcoming product launches or article that I want to have sent out as a reminder for our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing that I dislike is how much focus is put on twitter and twitter compatibility. For many that is a major social outlet, but for small businesses with a super niche market such as mine we do very little on Twitter and our impact on there is not as much as what it is on outlets like LinkedIn. Mostly because we are business to business but there is not as much for LinkedIn as I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started using sprout social mainly so that I could post and track content from one space. It has saved me a lot of time and headache doing research on where each post is going, making multiple posts, gathering data from posts and follower and then combining it. The reports are Amazing!
Our agency enjoys using Sprout Social. The features are nice and the platform is intuitive.
What do you like best about the product?
Social scheduling and the reporting features are the best features for our use. I enjoy seeing members of our team get ahead of the game by updating content ahead of time and getting approvals from clients. The reporting dashboards are really great and provide great information. It is also easy to onboard new hires, and clients alike on the platform. It helps provide value from a user experience perspective and you do not have to be an analytics ninja to figure out the features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost. It seems a bit expensive for what it is including the cost of adding users and profiles. We internalize the cost and do not pass it off to the client thus, it is a bit more than we like to spend. We are able to offset this in some cases however by the efficiencies that we gain by using the platform. I also don't love that when you print reports as a PDF, you can only see audience, vs. reach, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our social campaigns are more organized than they used to be. Our team works more efficiently on social campaigns by using Sprout Social.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the cost while exploring functionality. It is a great tool however, it it is expensive if you want your client base to have access to their profile.
Great for reviewing data but can be buggy when planning posts

We use Sprouts social mainly for gathering interactions, reach, data, and growth.
What do you dislike about the product?
We dislike that when you program posts. The profile will sometimes get disconnected and not post the post on it's scheduled time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are learning from our data how to grow our social media channels. We can also program posts on peak times so that someone does not physically have to sit and post at peak times
