I love that all of my social is in one place so that I never miss a comment or mention.

I recommend Sprout social to all of my friends because it makes my life easier. It helps me be more organized and use my time more wisely.

What do you like best about the product?
I love planning posts in advance so if last minute changes need to be made, the bulk of the post is ready to go. I can see what is happening each day and it helps me know what I am going to be focusing on.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I can think of at this time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can organize posts better than just making a chart in Excel or Google.

Sprout Social - A Comprehensive But Streamlined Social Solution

  • August 29, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is easily the most comprehensive but also streamlined and easy to use social solution I've ever found. I've used multiple social management programs, but none of them have the features Sprout does while still being user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The private messages feature could definitely use some work. It's somewhat confusing to have everything listed together, and while you can reply to conversations individually, it's still not that easy to use. I typically reply to messages through the native platform interfaces and do everything else through Sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a digital marketing associate responsible for social copywriting, scheduling, and monitoring, Sprout Social has been really helpful. The calendar view helps me see what I have scheduled for each day, and the homepage analytics views help me get a quick, at a glance look at how our social is doing on a regular basis.

In addition, the hashtag monitoring feature helps with tracking buzz about specific initiatives or events.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout Social is so worth it! I've convinced other friends and former colleagues to switch to Sprout Social for their businesses and organizations. I honestly couldn't imagine working on social media without Sprout.

Sprout helps me save time collating my social channels

  • August 29, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The inbox highlights search keywords from my geographical region alerting me to ongoing discussions or issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I never use their interface for reading my own channels - still go directly to the source as it is usually easier or more features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to respond more quickly to customers and be more up to date with trends.

Decent tool for monitoring social

  • August 29, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My customer support team tags me when there is a sales lead talking about our business on twitter. It's nice that I get email alerts about that!
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface leaves much to be desired. First, I cannot reply directly from the sprout thread using my twitter handle. Second, its difficult to distribute the link (other than use the share by email button).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our support team monitors our social mentions and tags in my sales team to jump into convos and create opportunities

Good resource once you learn the platform

  • August 29, 2019

What do you like best about the product?
The data and analytics the platform provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social makes it easy for me to schedule posts and keep track of messages accross all social media channels.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have patience learning the platform, its a big time saver once you know it!

Great workflow and data insights

  • August 29, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really find it helpful that Sprout uses data to back the recommended times for posting. Working for a global organization means sometimes my view of a perfect time isn't the same as the rest of the world. So knowing when my audience is most likely to engage (regardless of the country) is key to successful organic social.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there was the ability to create and schedule creative cards on Twitter right from Sprout. It's an extra step to do outside of Sprout and we lose that precious data that comes from having a clickable card on Twitter versus just a graphic attached to the post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are learning how to define an organic social strategy. We've been able to increase our twitter posting and decrease our Linkedin posts because of the insights we've received through Sprout. We're becoming more strategic in how and what we post.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout is an easy to use application that provides quality data and recommends post times based on that data. You can schedule across multiple channels easily. But there are some functionalities (at least depending on what level you purchase.) Have a game plan of exactly what you want to do before purchasing this (or any other) social media management application.

Social Media Management Made Simple

  • August 29, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the chrome extension. Makes social sharing a simple, easy part of my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you had a Salesforce integration. Thinking about moving off of Sprout in order to get better synchronization of data across our marketing and sale tech stack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social Media Scheduling.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool for easy social media management.
