Easy, Breeze Social Media Management
What do you like best about the product?
How you can view and interpret your insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can't tailor captions individually by creating a general caption or text for several social media accounts and then being able to tweak individual texts on the same page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to analyze our most valuable content and enhance our engagement. I've realized that we can easily view the type of content that resonates the most with our community and taking action accordingly. I've also realized the benefits of communicating with team members on posts and in the smart inbox.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a deep dive into the platform and come prepared with questions for your onboarding calls. Take advantage of the customer support and success team.
Sprout has some cool features but I'm not sure if I like it more than Later
What do you like best about the product?
The Twitter listening tool is really helpful as well as the optimal times to post. Later only gives you one time a day as a suggested post time, but Sprout Social gives you several suggestions. We often use Twitter to mine for Tweets relevant to our content that we can then turn into a Tweet post to share on Instagram, which often perform very well. I also really enjoy Sprout Social's reporting tools and how reports are automatically generated and sent to my inbox. It's nice to not have to pull the metrics myself and all I have to do is reference the numbers in my email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social's user interface isn't as aesthetically pleasing as Later. I enjoy the calendar layout for my content calendar is easier to move around on Later. Later is also better for scheduling IG Stories and TikToks. I also enjoy that Later has a preview of the feed feature that you can access from an online browser (not just mobile). Not being able to see a feed preview is unhelpful because I can't see if all the colors of the different posts are complimentary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The greatest benefits have been finding Tweets to repost through the listening tool and using the multiple optimal post time suggestions. Before using Sprout Social's listening tool, I would have to blindly search different trending topics and keywords on Twitter and there is no guarantee something valuable would come up, but Sprout Social's listening tool allows for me to more quickly comb through content to find quality tweets to share with our audience.
Sprout Social for Writing Studio
What do you like best about the product?
Smart Inbox tool being able to answer everything from just one place
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to like or comment on IG posts regarding private accounts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling posts, report making, engaging community, lowering response times
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I am new to social media management and had previously used another app, which we thought was utterly intricate. Sprout is as complex if not more but offers a more friendly and intuitive platform.
A thorough platform with helpful onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
I like the amount of data and reports. A significant upside is the ease of posting and replying across several platforms. An unexpected bonus is assistance from the Sprout team in learning how to use the program. Having a point person to aide us in navigating this vast system and giving us tips on how to best use it for our company's benefit is a nice touch and extremely beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that is a bit inconvenient is that we cannot tag non-business pages to our scheduled Facebook posts. But the reason was explained , and I completely understand it. It's just a minor inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far, it's been very beneficial to see what posts are working, when they are working, and surmising why they worked so well. Also, scheduling and queuing posts has been an absolute dream. There were so many posts that we were doing manually through each individual platform. Using Sprout has cut down on that tremendously. I've also found the cropping options for the different platforms to be extremely helpful. Instead of creating separate graphics for everything, I can just adjust them to the recommended specs provided when scheduling the posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to grow engagement and reach of posts but you've been lacking the analytical data to review and compare, Sprout Social is for you. If you have several posts to schedule but don't want to manually send them out on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more, then Sprout Social is for you.
Best match for our needs; Some room for improvements
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to learn and easy to use. It fulfills what we were looking for the most in easy content scheduling and management, visual and accurate analytics and a team equipped to advise and operate on an agency level.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've found a few limitations as we've onboarded and began to use for our clients. The reporting functionality is separated into buckets so that at least two separate reports need to be pulled to get both summary (engagement, audience, etc.) and paid advertising details. The Paid Ads report has had a couple other things pop up like the inconsistent ability to load an ad preview (getting an error frequently) and the inability to customize that report without losing a lot of functionality including the ability to see data broken down by campaign and individual ads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bigger focus on agency solutions and strategy; better-aggregated reporting; faster internal content approval process; ability to connect Ad accounts and integrate paid reporting
Savvy, Scalable Software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy publishing interface, great reporting capabilities, and seamless collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inbox feature can be tricky to use at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to dive much deeper into our data and find out what works with much greater confidence than before!
Top Notch Expertise from Sales to Implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's level of expertise on their platform is fantastic, but they also provide an expert understanding of the current social landscape and environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have no issues with the platform or with the service
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to utilize the platform not only to show ROI for my clients but to be able to tell their stories better. We are building our client's social media presence and looking to utilize Sprout's capabilities to optimize the content and its effectiveness per our target audiences.
Great first experience with Sprout
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has a really user-friendly dashboard and is visually appealing. That reporting data is presented in a variety of ways that is useful to different types of learners. So far, their support team has been very responsive and helpful in setting up our account. We are also able to respond to incoming messages in one place, instead of through each individual platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a first-time user, Sprout is a bit overwhelming at first. It's hard to know where to start with all of the different capabilities, but I'm looking forward to learning more with time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're working towards analyzing our data from social with the help of Sprout. Prior to using Sprout, we were only able to speak anecdotally about what posts were performing well, or not well, but now we'll be able to pull factual data. We are also able to categorize and tag our posts to have better knowledge about what our audience is responding to. We've realized the benefits of tracking similar organizations and the content they put out on social media, to see how we compare.
Easy and efficient to use, creating quality posts that you can learn from.
What do you like best about the product?
For our business, what we liked the best with Sprout Social was the fact that we were able to to have all of our social media platforms and pages routed into one site. The fact that it also helps with being able to compose and post, while still allowing for tagging among some other options from the platforms is also a great feature. This will create an efficiency within our department, allowing us to really dig in, but also be able to help our followers and members as well. The Sprout Social staff that we have had the opportunity to work with so far have also been very friendly and willing to help us with multiple questions and issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to have more profiles to be connected. We are a smaller business in most circles, so having a standard level subscription didn't give us enough profiles and we had to amend to have more. So it would be nice to be able to discuss how many are needed when starting with contract process, so that we are not leaving anything out. The onboarding process was great, I think that that helped out alot, as the first time logging in it seemed a little daunting, but after the meetings with Jesse, we were able to understand more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of having to be on multiple platforms and constantly checking for messages, comments, etc. This creates more efficiencies within our department, allowing us to dig into more and be more productive. This will also help us learn what our followers are engaged in and what works for us going forward. The reporting feature will also lessen the work that will need to be done to pull reports each month, instead of going through insights areas in each platform Sprout Social houses multiple reports that you can filter and manipulate and share.
Great management tool for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use out of the box. There is no complicated learning curve and the tool is user friendly. However, the platform has many robust features if and when you want to dive deeper and do more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as customizable as some other tools. For agencies or large organizations managing many different accounts, I might recommend a different tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to engage with following in an efficient way. Scheduling out content saves time. Compiled reports also saves time and energy.
