Mostly all-inclusive social media management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting/analytics package, the tag features and subsequent reporting options based on those tags, approval workflows for team members and student interns, smart inbox for monitoring activity
What do you dislike about the product?
The app could be a bit more robust, offering the same publishing options as the browser version. It is nice to be able to monitor the smart inbox from the app. I appreciate the effort Sprout has put in to add new features all the time. I have picked up and started using the link in bio option. I also appreciate the recent addition of tag report widgets to custom reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Permission control with interns, efficient monitoring, sentiment reporting, time management, post scheduling, regular social media reporting for monthly reports and campaign-based reporting
Happy for 4+ Years with Sprout
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout has everything my team of 10+ needs to manage client social media profiles. The publishing suite is intuitive to use, and as platform-partners, Sprout gets all the latest API updates/integrations. The community management features are awesome and help my team prioritize and reply to hundreds of comments daily. Social listening and reporting streamline the process for bringing insights and recommendations forward. After using a number of other platforms for publishing and moderation, Sprout has my business for the foreseeable future. Support and customer service is A+++
What do you dislike about the product?
While I'm very happy overall with the social listening functionality, I wish there were more projects included in my package. We've hit the character limit on some listening projects and had to pare down keywords.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout has helped my team minimize repetitious and tedious publishing tasks and cut down social media response times. The intuitive reporting suite also makes it easy for us to pull and share reports.

Bringing all our social media needs under Sprout's umbrella has streamlined training and tool costs.

I do not dislike anything. There are additional features I am looking forward to having like the ability for multiple links for one IG post
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social saves me time and helps me strategize, with in-depth analytics and competitive data. I have not found ANY better app for social media

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social's stat and performance tracking tools are so helpful for keeping track of our performance and honing our strategy moving forward, especially the comparison tool. We use month over month tracking mostly, but I love how you can use any time period comparison.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to make use of their social listening tool to further hone my team's social strategy, however their price points are quite high especially for a small business like mine. Additionally (and I've found this to be a problem with multiple social media management tools), you can't post carousels directly from their web app, it has to be done from the mobile app. This is quite inconvenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social makes scheduling posts across multiple channels simultaneously so easy and convenient — the tag and campaign managers are so helpful and very easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoyed the scheduling view. You could see how your post would look across all of the different channels, which is really important as each channel has different character requirements and editing. I also enjoyed how smooth the tool was. It never timed out and was very powerful to keep your work saved even if you went away for a moment to add something else to it. This may sound small but other tools tend to timeout and it can be very frustrating.
What do you dislike about the product?
I thought the support was not as accommodating. The customer success team did not see a way to offer us any other tools (such as social listening) unless we paid the fees equal to our overall monthly amount. Overall the tool was fantastic but if you're not willing to grow with a company, I cannot work with you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social was used very sparingly by myself before we switched to another tool. At the time, I did enjoy how much time it saved me with scheduling and reporting.
Good Platform Minus Some Quirks
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social makes it extremely easy to publish social media content on multiple platforms at once, and I appreciate being able to schedule out content in advance. It gives me one less thing to worry about during my workday.
What do you dislike about the product?
This may be no fault of theirs, but rather with the social networks themselves - I dislike that publishing certain video files still isn't supported, and having to post them manually or on the fly isn't always convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social's reporting capabilities are great and allow me to pull just about any metric I'd ever need. Scheduling content ahead of time also helps to greatly free up my work days.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analytics is not robust enough and is limited for what you pay. The customer support is great, however, they don't always have the answers you want because the suite just cannot do it.
Worst purchase experience
What do you like best about the product?
The features of the product and the interface were much better than the others I tried. Especially the social listening module meets all your needs without being complicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
After the trial period, we are constantly trying to buy the tool. We have had booked meetings in which nobody appears at meeting hours, sending emails, and trying to call them. WE DIDN'T succeed to purchase the tool. It's the most awkward and disrespectful situation I have ever faced in all my career.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is by far one of the best social media tools I've used. They have awesome features available at every plan level, excellent customer support, and just in general make managing my company's social channels a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social can be quite expensive, especially if you want to start adding on additional features. Their social listening tool looks extremely powerful and beneficial but adding it on just drives the price point up so high that it's not within the realm of possibility at the moment.

Sprout make it super easy to track cross-channel performance simultaneously. Their reports are clean, concise, and easy to understand — making it simple for me and my team to know how we need to rework and adjust our strategy
