A useful tool but not the most intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I like the calendar interface and the ability to duplicate/copy posts when scheduling.
What do you dislike about the product?
The icons used in the dashboard are not intuitive at all. They're confusing, and it's difficult to navigate. The queue, drafts, and scheduled posts are confusingly redundant
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making it easier for our team to have multiple users handling multiple accounts
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Integrate with Asana!!!
Compose and schedule posts with ease.
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout makes it easy to compose your company's social media posts, and the setup makes it easy to organize the different platforms. I especially love how it offers optimal times to post for each platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like about Sprout is that there is a 30 minute window for a supervisor to approve posts. Sometimes I would rather submit my posts for approval ahead of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me organize my social media posts and giving me confidence that I've taken care of all of them, and that I've produced quality social media posts for my company.
The Sales and Customer Service Departments Suck!
What do you like best about the product?
The software itself works well but that is about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sales and customer service departments treat customers like they are a nuisance and like they are stupid. They use deception to try to upsell their customers. Sprout Social teaches its employees to milk each customer out of the most fees as humanly possible. The employees are clones of one another. They also treat their customers with disrespect which is really degrading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to do my social media tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please choose one of the other software companies that treat their customers well and do not use deceptive practices to get more monthly fees from them.
User-friendly interface + easy to pull data
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very user-friendly interface. Super easy to navigate and find what you need. Pulling data reports is a breeze. The smart inbox, publishing section, and tag performance sections are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful part of Sprout Social is mainly the fact that we can't see TikTok videos and Instagram stories that we are tagged in. We can't also log any UGC Instagram stories that we repost on our story. Wishing for a more robust influencer management section too. The brand sentiment bot doesn't always sort the sentiment of the message correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media marketing metrics and content planning, competitor analysis, trend watching, brand health, and community management. It helps me have one place to find everything I need in my day to day tasks.
One-stop social media shop
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is the optimal posting time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a lot of features, so it takes time to get into a groove.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows social content to be organized and strategic.
Sprout Social is easy to navigate, providing a modern fresh feel to Social Media metrics.
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social reports are most helpful. I enjoy reading the performance overview and demographics which provide insight into audience engagement. I think the key feature of the reports is the reporting period in which, marketers can analyze data at any given time.
Additionally, the Competitor Insights Report is a great tool to use if you want to track and analyze your competitor's posts and engagement.
Additionally, the Competitor Insights Report is a great tool to use if you want to track and analyze your competitor's posts and engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is a lack of demographics available for Twitter. Initially, when ISP transitioned from Hootsuite to Sprout Social, the demographics were one of the key features ISP loved. Now the feature has been taken away and users are unable to analyze their company's current audience and possibly have to invest in the Listening feature to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social has provided ISP with the ability to further engage with its community and learn its strengths in weaknesses by measuring performance for weekly and quarterly reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure that this software company aligns with the goals of your company.
Review from a Marketing Specialist
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to schedule posts and the detailed analytics that comes with it makes using the platform very convenient and insightful.
What do you dislike about the product?
How complicated it was to use when first learning how to use the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its solving the problem of managing the craziness that is social media, and simplifies the posting process for me and my clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend a lot of time just exploring and playing with functions. Videos will help, but understanding it yourself will play a big difference.
A social media manager's one stop shop
What do you like best about the product?
The analytics platform alone is incredibly helpful to a social media manager. It takes the hard work out of getting data from tools natively and displays it all in one place. Easy to share reports, easy to download for automation plugging into personal dashboards, and just takes the fuss out of monthly reporting. Also gives you Engagement metrics, which not all platforms (LinkedIn for instance) provide!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many features that it is easy to bypass some of them. You constantly need to stay on-top of acquainting yourself with the tool to make the most of your experience. I don't see this as a negative though. It just goes to show that Sprout has a little something for everyone!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows my company to access everything in one toolkit. I have publishing for the day-to-day social activity. I have analytics for reporting needs and I have social listening to inform the activities and content I produce on an ongoing basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do yourselves a favor and get this tool for a one-stop shop social media tool stack
Easy for Contact Centre's to use Social Media
What do you like best about the product?
That all of the social media platforms are together
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there were better reporting options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to answer customer's questions together and in a faster manner than through email.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it, you won't regret it!
Solid Software Solution
What do you like best about the product?
An easy way to see organic posts across all different platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Platform UI can be a bit clunky and confusing, at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves time, as I would have to individually visit multiple platforms to gather the information that Sprout can populate at once.
