Easy to Use for Sprout Social Newbie
What do you like best about the product?
Creating new content to post is super simple. I also like the ability to easily see what's getting the most engagement. The dashboard provides a quick view of the most relevant information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it hard to locate general posting history to clone content. I like Sprout Social's accessibility features, but I wish there were prompts for recommended edits. For example, I wanted to add alt text, but had to search support to learn how. I also wish the preview was more accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social gives us an aggregate view across all social channels. The platform is also great for our third-party vendor who manages our social calendar. Without it, they'd have to gain access to each individual channel.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the reporting and the organization of the reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to monitor Instagram stories and polls and to pull accurate reports around that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is helping solve which types of posts work best on each platform, and this allows us to concentrate our efforts on more successful posts.
Sprout Social is brilliant for customer service and scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
The smart inbox collates ALL enquiries and mentions across your social media channels. It is so easy to miss customer questions and enquiries without Sprout - now, we never miss anything from our customers. It's an absolute life saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't split out paid vs organic activity in the reports. It would be amazing if Sprout could tell how many engagements were on ads and split it out from the organic stats. Facebook reports do show the organic vs paid impressions, but it would be great if it also did this for Instagram and across all stats.
I also don't like that they don't have a grid view of your Instagram so you can see how the content flows. You can do this on the mobile app but it doesn't allow you to drag and drop content to rearrange according to the view.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is helping us make our customer service better than ever. Previously, notifications would be missed and customers would get frustrated, but now it's all centralised and even if my manager opens a DM on Instagram, I will still be able to review and respond from the smart inbox.

Sprout Social is very user-friendly and customer service is always available to help and hands-on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lately, there have been some issues with Instagram dropped posts which do cause a bit of a delay as we have to re-post manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us schedule and organize client accounts, posts, as well as reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
That you can review the posts before they are posted. As a social media manager, this is great to make sure everything is reviewed. The other thing is being able to tag your posts so we can use the analytics to see what campaigns are doign well and which arent.
What do you dislike about the product?
That we are currently unable to post reels directly to facebook. The new feature where we can post reels to instagram has saved masses of time for us but we are yet to get the facebook reels update |!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The reels for instagram. This has saved us a lot of time by not having to log in later in the day to post it directly from our phones. The automatic posting of reels is really revolutionary for our social media strategy

When profiles disconnect unexpectedly and the delay on updates and adding platforms like TikTok

It is premium when it comes to community management. Organizing conversation and translating CM insights into quantitative data and insights.
Great starter social management tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The platform itself is very user-friendly! The reports are easy to read and build and the asset library is a lifesaver! The tag library and scheduling is great for us being a company with hundreds of locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are quite a few limitations Sprout has that caps the long-term possibilities with the platform. Limited API connections, inability to bulk delete, and account management is spotty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bulk scheduling, reporting, and a large asset library. Being able to schedule content out at optimal times is a game-changer for our company. The reports also allow us to tell a social media story that simple and digestible for those that aren't in marketing.

What do you like best about the product?
The analytics aren't terrible. Being able to see engagement is useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no way of seeing gross follower gain/loss, only net change. this makes is difficult to distinguish from bots. Also it's not great that you can't search all of twitter for posts including certain words. Also, can't see % increase over average, just over a single other period.

They are trying to solve analytics for social media.
Effective - easy to use and reporting is excellent.

Abilty to manage multiple channels and streams while tracking results.

I wish LinkedIn would allow us to tag in the platform.

Efficiency - fewer people to manage multiple streams and platforms. consolidates effort and one person can do the work of many.
