What do you like best about the product?
The UI and UX are user-friendly. Scheduling works well after you get used to the settings. I like the fact that I didn't have to watch any tutorials or read documentation to begin using the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout is on the expensive side. But the biggest reason I need a different platform in some situations is that Sprout is not a good platform for marketing companies. It's a great tool for a business with an internal marketing department, but it's not an enterprise tool. The limitation of ten platforms and the expense of adding more really cut into the profits of managing social media campaigns for smaller businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives good analytics of what is working and what is not. I generally make decisions based on data, and Sprout doesn't disappoint. The ability to track competitors is a nice tool to grow the social channels.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that Sprout is a one-stop shop for all aspects of managing our social accounts is a huge win for our team. It saves us so much time over having to manage the individual profiles in their native apps, and being able to pull a comprehensive report on all of our performance in one place is a big time saver!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some other platforms offer the ability to include non-users in the approvals process through shared links, etc. That would be a big asset for my team which has to get approval from outside stakeholders but who would not otherwise have any need to have a Sprout account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making our team much more efficient by being able to manage all of our programs from one place, in a shared social content calendar, and is a massive improvement over our old system of using Word documents and spreadsheets to manage content.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I have access to robust analytics of all platforms I'm posting to, which then gives me opportunities to keep learning about what content does and does not work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any downsides at the moment!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's like one-stop shopping for my work flow. I love the schedule and duplicate feature, especially when needing to condense captions for Twitter posts. The feature to add alt text to images is extremely important and I'm happy to be able to utilize it often in my posts. I used to have to create posts and then go in after the fact when I had time to add alt text to images. Sprout is saving me so much time, while also being on the cutting edge of being inclusive.

What do you like best about the product?
If you are looking to research different social media strategies, look at their blog! It is very insightful and gives information that you can use almost immediately!
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little confusing getting started. WIsh it was more user friendly, but after awhile you might get used to it.

It allows you to easily track and analyze trends on social media,.

What do you like best about the product?
Access to analytics FB no longer shows. Love the tagging feature and customisable reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
UX is a bit clunky and hard to navigate from the outset. Speed of adding new features to keep up with IG and FB.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tagging all incoming comments & messages has helped us easily ID our customer pain points through the report.

What do you like best about the product?
The data analytics available for so many social channels and gaining quick glances and monthly summaries that we can screenshot and share has been helpful to asses gaps and needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard can be a bit cluttered if you're managing 6+ platforms with a social audience of 2M+. It takes some getting used to, but becomes easy to navigate when utilizing tags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is solving our need to asses strengths and weaknesses in response time, actioned messages, and engagement highs and lows. Looking at the numbers week by week gives us a chance to see where we need extra support and a change in content.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of the platform & overall useage, analytics used to take me so much longer, and now I can do them within 2 minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
COST. Lots of hidden fees / price escalates quickly, especially when you are trying to sign up

What do you like best about the product?
I do like the analytics tools and tag feature of social content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do believe that Sprout should allow us to edit text differently for every social account, instead of all at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to see how my followers interact with my ads and organic posts in order to improve our performance and conversion.

STAY AWAY - Terrible Experince

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting is great! It helps compare competitiors to the page you are managing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Terrible. I've been a high paying member for over a year and trying to cancel is a nightmare.

First, you can speak to CS but not get a hold of your rep. I've tried over 5 times now and had a reply once without a follow up for cancelling my account. Finally after 2 weeks I got my rep to cancel SS but they did it for next month (even though i asked for it to be done before the next billing cycle)

Now, I'm trying to get a hold of them again so they can stop trying to take money out of my account.
PLEASE, not use Sprout Social they won't let you cancel and try and take as much money as possible from you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
Friendly user interface. Easy to schedule and publish posts on social media. The Smart Inbox feature is very helpful for the customer service team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations, such as cannot publish different kinds of ads (carousel ads) and cannot answer to messages that pass seven days (though it is a third-party limitation, the thing is those inboxes didn't show up in the Smart Inbox at the time). Sometimes the product was lagging a bit. The Add-on feature for report is quite expensive for a small business which only focuses on a few accounts (it can be more flexible).

We also use Semrush at the same time, and that's how I realised Semrush provides more helpful metrics and SEO trackers than Sprout Social.

Schedule and publish posts on social media.
Smart Inbox helps the customer service team communicate with customers.
Report helps.
