What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Sprout Social is how it combines powerful analytics with a user-friendly interface. The platform makes it easy to schedule content, track performance, and manage multiple accounts all in one place. I particularly appreciate the collaborative features like shared calendars and approval workflows, which streamline team processes. The in-depth reporting also helps translate data into real insights, making it easier to prove ROI and refine strategy based on what actually works.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inconsistent scheduling misfiresWhat I dislike about Sprout Social is that some of the more advanced features—like deeper analytics or listening tools—are only available on higher-tier plans, which can be limiting for smaller teams or agencies. At times, the platform can also feel slightly slower when handling large volumes of content or data. Additionally, while the reporting is strong, there’s limited flexibility in customizing dashboards compared to some competitors. Still, these are relatively minor compared to its overall value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the challenge of managing multiple social platforms efficiently by centralizing scheduling, publishing, engagement, and reporting in one place. It streamlines workflows, reduces time spent switching between apps, and ensures consistency across content. The smart inbox and collaboration tools help teams stay aligned and respond quickly to audience interactions. For me, this means better productivity, clearer performance insights, and more time to focus on creative strategy instead of being bogged down in manual tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I think it's designed pretty well and does what I need. It's relatively easy to use and has good support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think it's optimized for a newsroom and daily use. It's better for scheduling out stuff long-term.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting, mainly

Mixed Bag

What do you like best about the product?
It allows our organization to keep track of all of our social pages in one place and its reporting capabilities work for our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
On a platform like Hootsuite you can schedule multiple versions of a post (for multiple platforms) in one go, even if there are tagged pages included. In Sprout if a post includes tagged pages then you have to recreate the post for every platform and redo the tags each time. Hootsuite has multiple tabs in the post creation box which makes it much quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to get quick reporting for all of our pages and allows us to post to multiple platforms.

I use sprout by standards but i want to look into the bigger capabilities it has to offer

What do you like best about the product?
The one thing i truly love about Sprout Social is how user-friendly it is. It is one of the easiest platforms to be able to take your content and share it on multiple social sites. Also the optimized time planning is A+++
What do you dislike about the product?
The least useful for me, only because our business is very small, is the active listening feature. It rarely ever pulls information that is relative to my brand and product and is probably one of the features I try not to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of managing multiple social accounts by putting them into one easy to use place.

Smooth user-experience, but is it an all-in-one tool (yet?)

  • May 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to navigate and has a great interface--every one on your team can use it with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
There seem to always be a "oh you can't do that" with Sprout for different platforms (such as no PDF document uploads for LinkedIn--to name one).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pulling all of the data in an easy to use function.

Good but focused on upsell

  • May 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's helpful to have everything housed in one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unless you're paying premium, there are too many limitations. Every call or meeting with your account rep is focused on the upsell, instead of trying to help you maximize the capabilities you have now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us schedule our content in advance.

They make my monthly reports so accurate!

A great tool

What do you like best about the product?
This is my first experience with a social media management platform and I am overall very happy with its features and the extent of its capabilities. The social listening is powerful and insightful, the reports are informative and provide good visual data, and the post scheduler is my best friend at this point.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think its the best in its class, but I do wish that it was integrated better with apps outside X. Why is X the one that gets the most integration? I would argue that both Instagram and LinkedIn are far more relevant. And the user tagging for LinkedIn and Facebook is extremely buggy. Additionally, you can't tag users in LinkedIn photos. So that is a glaring issue, I think.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a comprehensive view of our brand health, which is great. It keeps tabs on topics, interactions and engagements that might otherwise slip under my radar with the number of accounts I am managing

Easy Scheduling, Analytics Need Work

  • May 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Sprout Social is easy to use, making it simple to see what's been scheduled. It's helpful for my team to see what others have scheduled in addition to our own posts, ensuring content is properly spaced out and edited if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find post analytics numbers are inconsistent or delayed. The numbers don't match in-app analytics from Facebook, Instagram, X, and sometimes Sprout Social shows that a post performed poorly when it didn't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for scheduling social media posts and analytics. It helps me and my team schedule posts across platforms, ensuring content is spaced out and editable if needed. It's easy to use, and I can see what's scheduled by others, enhancing team collaboration.
