A great tool for scheduling social posts months in advance
What do you like best about the product?
I've been working with Sprout for a little over 8 months and I love that they are constantly updating and improving the platform. In the time I've started using it they've added more support for Instagram, added support for showing scheduled drafts in the calendar view, and much more. They're constantly listening to their customers and prospects and that shows in their product.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. More often than not if I spend a little too much time on scheduling out posts in the future or I have to step away for a meeting and come back to Sprout, it times out but doesn't let me know—so I'll schedule a post for multiple days, attempt to schedule, and it'll wipe my progress and I need to start over.
2. The search feature could use a loving revisit. Sometimes I'm interested in how we promoted something the year before, or even last month, and I have to click through the week-to-week view instead of being able to search for keywords in those social posts. It makes it really hard to look at past posts.
3. We get a lot of people using advanced retweet for our posts and hashtags we follow—and in Smart Inbox, only the retweet message comes through, not the original tweet they're referencing, and that adds a lot of extra clicking. I wish the entire retweet could show in the inbox feed.

It has been so useful to be able to follow certain hashtags and use the listening feature to see what people are really posting about outside of the sphere of our company. Information like that helps inform our content strategy, and being able to provide support on social media all in one place has been a huge help as well. What do you like best about the product?
The ease of the interface and the analytics reports are better than any other platform I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Sprout would compress photos that are too large automatically, but that's a small complaint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization has been able to see our Instagram grow and see what kind of posts do well and which don't.

What do you like best about the product?
We love Sprout Social in our office because it allows us to schedule our social media whenever we want. We save time by not having to go to multiple medias.

I wish it would allow us to post multiple photos on Instagram.

We save time, energy and love to see the reports. It helps us show what posts are going well, what are new strategies should be.

The smart inbox help me manage social care.
What do you like best about the product?
The smart inbox is a great way for me to keep tabs on social care as it aggregates comments and messages across our platforms into one place. You can also customize your inbox so you only get notifications about the notifications you care about.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if we could see the number of likes each post and comment is getting in my smart inbox view. For example, if there is a discussion, it helps to see how many people have liked someone's comment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout social is helping me stay on top of my social care needs. It allows me to make sure i'm not missing any conversations about the brand I manage, especially time-sensitive messages like questions or critiques.

Nice to see all of our social media channels in one place which saves us a lot of time and gives us great visibility.

I wish the reporting was a little more robust and customizable

It's really helped us with turning social media into a support channel by reducing our response time.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the messages feature and the easy-to-use reports most. It really helps me in my job as a social media manager for two brand identities that get a lot of engagement. The reports also make my life easier since they are quick and simple! I'm really excited about the new notes feature as it really helps me with my social planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just some of the technical issues like content not sending correctly & having to contact support. I've done this multiple times already since becoming a user. But the support team is always helpful and resolves issues quickly. There are also some bugs that are difficult to work around like when a message is auto rejected and you can't send immediately after fixing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engaging with our audience has become much easier. Grabbing quick reports has been very helpful. I also really love the new notes feature as it really helps me plan social content better.

I love being able to access all social platforms through one dashboard, and being able to work across different teams within the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish the listening was part of our basic package, as well as I would like to see more within the reporting tab as far as downloadable numbers, not data input into charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes deleted content doesn't get deleted within the dashboard. I also love being able to communicate with our customer service team within the dashboard.

Get to know your account rep, as they are able to make sure you're getting exactly what you need and show you how to use it. Ali was the best, and she has impacted our experience in the best way.
The Best option for Social Media and Social Listening
What do you like best about the product?
The Smart Inbox is key to a good workflow and for team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features like feeds are a little clunky to set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a dynamic tool that could work intradepartmentally.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Social listening is the new trend in social and sprout has the tool to help.
Top quality platform for agencies
What do you like best about the product?
I'm able to train people very easily on how to use Sprout. It is easy to pick up and figure out the basics of. It has great features and a great user design. It is organized and keeps our work flowing seamlessly. Reports are a great feature and good to show clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is not being able to be logged in on multiple devices at a time. $99/month to add another user is a pretty steep price to avoid this problem, too. I've worked with high-revenue agencies also who still stick to only one user to avoid this fee. And having to coordinate who is logged in at what time becomes a big pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling ahead is necessary when you're running so many accounts. My business could not run without being able to do this.
Overall a great platform
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout social makes pulling reports very easy. I especially appreciate the tags feature, which allows me to pull reports on more specific types of campaigns and see how specific social posts have been performing. I also appreciate the integration with Bitly and Google Analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it is priced based on user. I'd rather you pay a set amount and then are able to add up to 5 users. As a nonprofit, we have a limited budget so adding users like that can add up quickly, so unfortunately we haven't been able to utilize the approval functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It used to be challenging to create reports on event social campaigns, but with tags, we are able to do that much more efficiently. Also running our monthly social media reports has become much more efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take into consideration how many users you will have using the platform - as that will effect the pricing. Overall, this is an excellent platform for tracking, publishing, and monitoring social platforms. I'm also impressed with the number of new features that Sprout Social continues to introduce, that increase the functionality of the platform.
