Great Cross-Platform Scheduling, Missing Key Networks Like Twitch and Tumblr
What do you like best about the product?
Upsides are being able to schedule and tailor the same post to various networks at the same time - I can create, for example, a Facebook, Bsky, and IG post with content and copy tailored to each platform all from the same interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some priority platforms we use regularly are notably missing from Sprout, including Twitch and Tumblr.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us schedule content in advance, look back on past content, and derive insights and analytics about our audience and engagement.
User-Friendly with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout Social is extremely user-friendly and that its interface allows me to do my job more efficiently. The ability to post on all platforms at once is incredibly convenient, and the streamlined reporting features are also a big plus. The setup was pretty easy, which I appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think the social listening is as great as it was sold to me as. Specifically, it's not user friendly, and the alerts are not accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social lets me post on all platforms at once and provides streamlined reporting. Its user-friendly interface makes my job more efficient.
Efficient Social Reporting with Minor Tagging Hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social primarily for social reporting and scheduling. I love the easy-to-view and edit dashboards for reporting that allow me to use AI to synthesize data quickly and make campaign decisions. For scheduling, the optimal best time features are helpful in setting up weekly content schedules and deciding when to post specific types. The initial setup was super easy since I have used similar platforms in the past. Overall, I like the reporting feature the most and also find the best time to post feature especially useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The LinkedIn tagging feature in Sprout Social is frustrating because I can't tag personal accounts like I can on the native LinkedIn app. This forces me to switch between tools a lot. I have to use Sprout for the best time to post, then switch to the native LinkedIn app to tag individuals, and then go back to Sprout after the post is live to add campaigns and tags for performance tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for easy reporting and scheduling. The AI helps me synthesize data quickly and plan campaigns, while the optimal posting times assist in scheduling weekly content effectively.
Comprehensive Social Management, Needs Better Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social for social media management and really like the Social Listening feature. It helps me track what people think about our company with negative or positive sentiment. Most of the mentions we wouldn't have found on our own. It allows me to track all metrics and platforms in one place while being able to post to multiple platforms at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reports tab can be complicated to understand and prioritize the metrics we care about most. Mentioning people in a post has been very difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to track all metrics and platforms in one place and post to multiple platforms. The Social Listening feature tracks sentiment, finding mentions we'd miss otherwise.
Great Scheduling, But Setup Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like Sprout Social for scheduling and the ability to post while having my intern post via workflow approval. It acts as a buffer, which means my intern isn't allowed to post directly onto Instagram or even have access to our IG. With Sprout, they can schedule something to post, and we still have to approve it, which is good for double-checking their work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notes aren't good. It took me a while to understand that my time settings were off, and I wish it was automated to know I was in the West Coast instead of the East Coast. The initial setup wasn't easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for scheduling posts on Instagram, and it acts as a buffer, ensuring that my intern's posts need approval before going live, which helps us double-check their work.
Great Scheduling and Approvals, But External Commenting Could Be More Flexible
What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling is nice and having client communication and approval process
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that I could talk to the external user before they leave a comment. It would be nice to leave a note rather than having to email too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to Manually post saves me time
Insightful Analytics, Needs Report Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simple reports in Sprout Social. They help me run analytics quarterly and use AI to look at correlations between social activity, engagement, and web traffic to see how we're doing. It aids me in understanding how my content is reaching my audiences and what resonates most.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to set a template for quarterly reports so I don't have to mess with changing settings each time or remembering what needs to be done to keep the reports consistent
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps me understand how my content reaches audiences and what resonates most. I run analytics quarterly and use AI to correlate social activity and web traffic to gauge performance.
Efficient Social Scheduling, Needs More LinkedIn Features
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sprout Social to post on X and occasionally LinkedIn, to view how our social media accounts are doing, including checking engagement rates and follower counts, and seeing which posts are performing the best. I find it nice that Sprout Social combines all the platform schedulers into one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Sprout Social had the ability to tag people or organizations on LinkedIn. Because they don't do that currently, I have to schedule a lot of content natively in LinkedIn. It would be a lot easier for me to just do it in Sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social combines all the platform schedulers into one dashboard, which is nice.
Content Specialist
What do you like best about the product?
This tool gives our company the ability to manage our community in an easy-to-use way.
What do you dislike about the product?
People linked to our account have been disconnected more than once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy to respond to customer questions, comments, and DMs all in one place.
In-Depth Performance Metrics, But Posting Across Platforms Needs Streamlining
What do you like best about the product?
I love how in depth the performance tab gets - I can really get into the metrics. It integrates with all of our social platforms perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a hard time posting one social post across many different platforms without duplicating the post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the management of all of our social posting and creating one platform instead of having to check each platform individually. It is a huge time saver.
