A great platform for your social needs
What do you like best about the product?
As a 'department of one' in my organizaton, Sprout is a super valuable tool. I really like it's easy to use and flexible scheduling capabilities, which allows me to plan and automate our posts easily. The tagging feature is also extremely valuable to me, as it makes it super easy to filter posts to ensure I am sending out a balanced content and makes the reporting for the varies involved stakeholders super easy. The built-in Instagram grid planner is also standout feature for me, as I enjoy the ability to preview what our grid will look like. Finally, the reporting functionality is quite robust and flexible, making it easy to get the in-depth insights that drive our social media strategy forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest dislike is probably the mobile app. I find it to be a bit messy and it lacks some of the essential features of the desktop version, which can really put a stop to on-the-go social management (and isn't that the point of an app?) Like especially the fact that if you accidentally clear a notification saying it is time to post to Instagram, for example, then that is just gone and you cannot find the post in the app anymore. You have to go back to the desktop version to find the post and resend it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves SO MUCH TIME via the following:
1. It streamlines the whole process of creating and publishing social posts across multiple platforms
2. The tagging and reporting features have allowed us to categorize and analyze our content much more effectively

What do you like best about the product?
What we love about Sprout Social for my brands in the Automotive Aftermarket is reporting tools that keep us abreast to competitors in the market. Navigating Sprout is easy and the user interface is better than any other social media management tool on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, a lot of functions rely on Facebook or Instagram's API. Functions like sharing messages directly to stories or having a library of music available for reel content creation would make Sprout much more superior.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe Sprout Social is solving the problem of managing a variety of profiles on different channels. I did not know until my call with Sprout that channels such as LinkedIn was available.
Very easy to use and see posts, DMs etc from FB, Twitter and IG all on one page/screen.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use, the ability to update internal notes and the ease of counting the number of messages received in the frequency of our choice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that a single user sending 10 single line comments is counted as 10 message instead of 1.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily replying to users when the reach out and allows me to manage 3 different social medias in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling content for the month, responding to inquiries, community management for multiple accounts in central location.

Universal assets on Sprout account so i don't need to create the same assets in each account; or a duplicate option

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows me to handle all my social media accounts and multiple platforms in a central location. Productivity increases because i dont need to switch between apps to get things done.

What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use. The content scheduling makes it easy to manage a full day of posting across many channels. We also use the feature to schedule RTs a lot so we can fill up our calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesnt have the capability to schedule twitter threads
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us schedule 24 hours worth of content, as we are a global brand with followers across all parts of the world. It also helps manage multiple platforms and accounts seamlessly.
Excellent, comprehensive tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is pretty intuitive to use, and has a lot of powerful capabilities. The creation, posting, scheduling and approving process is quite smooth. The reporting elements are top-notch and have really helped us to benchmark against competitors and improve month over month, while being able to identify which posts are the most effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has been a lot of turnover of staff recently. We purchased an add-on and wasted several weeks waiting for on-boarding meetings to be rescheduled. Other than that, we've been pretty happy with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media post performance and reporting. We're able to see exactly which types of posts are performing the best and worst across all of our channels. This has been really critical as we've added tens of thousands of new followers, year over year.

What do you like best about the product?
Authentication is quick and painless, data pipes through fairly quickly. Interface is intuitive, and managing users is simple! Much better than Critical Mention, Meltwater and others in a similar space.
What do you dislike about the product?
The base level reporting tier is a bit rough - you can't pick the metrics you want, you have to opt in for a larger package. This can create issues if you're reporting on more nuanced metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps us to manage many clients all at once, without having to manually build out data pipelines or work through using a handful of platforms to post content.
Well designed but unstable
What do you like best about the product?
The analytics are incredibly helpful and allow users to create content that will content with their audience without constantly having to either audit accounts or maintain their own database of analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data is sometimes not completely up to date even after a day or so which can be annoying when looking at posts and trying to gain momentum. There also seems to be some analytics that are just not given, such as watch time for Instagram videos. If that data set is not available, it would be better to grey out or not allow users to select it when searching by Instagram accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that we faced prior to using Spout was social media analytics on the native apps and needing to switch between platforms and accounts to find them.
Best Tool on the Market
What do you like best about the product?
I love Sprout's analytics and reporting tools and how easy the platform is to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout is pricey compared to other social media management tools and I do not like that they keep changing the features included in various pricing tiers. For example, we lost access to hashtag feeds, which was a critical tool for one client.

Sprout Social really streamlines social media management for our team. It saves time and provides powerful analytics.
Best unified inbox for community managers and social team
What do you like best about the product?
I love the unified smart inbox feature - it's a great way to streamline my team's work. While it's not perfect, and no tool like this is, it's the best available out of the competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some simple features that could be improved like the customizability of reports and the ability to filter different types of content in and out. For example, paid, vs boosted and dark Facebook activity, throughout the whole reporting platform, not just in one report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The huge scale of social platforms out there, helps us manage this better. It seems better at keeping up with the fast paced nature of social (esp. vs Hootsuite).
