Very efficient, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout makes it easy to schedule posts out quite a bit ahead of time. It's easy to use and makes my day easier. I like the interface and how simple navigation is, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could drag "Notes" from one day on the calendar to the next (like dragging posts to reschedule), and I wish Reels were included in engagement data and not just impressions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us to see more clearly what posts on social media work for our brand, and what areas we need to work on to increase engagement and visibility in our community.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try--it makes scheduling quick and easy (as well as rescheduling), and there are a variety of options for how you can respond to customers/clients in the program that are really nice.
Life Saver
What do you like best about the product?
I like that with sprout we have all our social media in one place. We can see all the analytics, and see what is working for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried to see if i could connect another profile from our sister company but I wasn't able to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time saver, as the creative director, social media manager and marketing person in the company, Sprout has helped me out a lot.
Best in Class
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting features are truly best in class with some of the easiest and most comprehensive exporting controls. Every year for our AGM I put together an annual report of what we did the entire fiscal year. This is something that would take days of going into each respective app to find our analytics. Sprout can cut this time down into less than an hour, depending on how many data points i'm looking to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is it's on the pricier side but they offer good discounts for nonprofits and worked hard to find a solution that was in our budget. Even though the service is expensive, the value of the service truly makes it worth the cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using sprout has freed up much of my day. It's fantastic for saving time and seeing your whole ecosystem of platforms at a glance. Sprout also helped in reducing our subscription costs which is very helpful as a nonprofit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the free trial, it truly speaks for itself. But when you do decide to purchase, don't skip on their webinars, customer service, on-boarding tutorials. There is so much more value beyond the service itself.
Extremely useful social media planning tool!
What do you like best about the product?
scheduling ability, ease of use, overall planning
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much - it's a great product that's very useful in my role
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm the sole social media person for our institution and Sprout has made handling multiple SM accounts so much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
After using several free platforms and not getting the results I want, I can 100% say the investment with Sprout is SO worth it!
Robust social scheduling and analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Analytics/scheduling features are robust, not bloated or difficult to learn. Lots of options for post sorting, tracking, etc., especially helpful when managing multiple campaigns and brands. We're overall pleased with how easy the platform is to learn and onboard new users when transferring social media responsibilities across the organization. Also like the variety of content and webinars featuring field experts--continue bringing in good teachers with an emphasis on diversity of experience & perspective (BIPOC, gender, agency or in-house experience, teams of one, and nonprofit marketers).
What do you dislike about the product?
Account and billing reps are disorganized & difficult to communicate with. They have lost payments several times & continued following up with us directly after we asked them to file a complaint to our bank. We like the platform enough that we've worked through this, but it doesn't reflect well when Sprout is a significant portion of our nonprofit's marketing budget.
Would also like more functionality--alt text for Instagram, Twitter threads, and more.
Would also like more functionality--alt text for Instagram, Twitter threads, and more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time by scheduling social in advance, allows our nonprofit to spend more time & resources on other tasks & let content go out steadily throughout the week. We don't see financial ROI because we are a nonprofit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good platform for most basic use cases. Billing & account reps have previously lost payments we sent
Love Sprout Social
What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which you can schedule and edit content. Collaboration and support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Posting Stories is incredibly painful. If I remember correctly, this is the API on Instagram, but I've worked with other platforms who make it possible who are far less superior
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout analytics have helped greatly identify areas of opportunities and new channels to focus on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! Productivity and strategy will increase significantly!
SPROUT FOR THE WIN!!
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate all of the tools and resources that Sprout offers. The publishing calendar helps me stay organized and makes posting so easy. I've used other services before, and their user interfaces were not as friendly or reliable as Sprout.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the listening tools were a little more accessible. I understand the value of listening tools, and I'm not suggesting they be free. That being said, I feel that if the cost came down, many more businesses would be able to take advantage of this great resource to grow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The access to data to better understand the growth of the accounts I manage has become essential. I'm able to adjust my social strategy thanks to the reports I am able to generate within Sprout. I'm also able to better communicate this data to collegaues and other important stakeholders in the business.
Sprout Social is the Best Social Media Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful asset Sprout Social provides is their social listening capabilities. The topic profiles function with boolean search allowing users to effectively monitor conversations on a variety of topics including brand health, competitive landscape, campaign management, events, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting layout, while very extensive, does not allow you to customize the format or viewpoint without upgrading your account even further. I also wish that LinkedIn's API was integrated into reporting capabilities however that is a LinkedIn issue, not Sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social allows our business to better identify top performing and low performing social content, key influencers within our industry, share of voice among competitors, and an automated customer support system. By far one of the best social media management tools I've ever used and I've worked with many.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend going with Sprout over other tools like Hootsuite.
Wonderful. Using this since 2014 and it is a complete VFM.
What do you like best about the product?
Two things:
- Easy UI/UX
- Detailed insights which do not overwhelm you with data but comfort you with the right amount of insights

What do you dislike about the product?
Nah ... never disliked anything ... it has worked fine for me for almost a decade now.
Maybe the Insta data can match up to an Iconosquare level, but that's a suggestion, not a dislike.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apart from scheduling, I can discuss/debate with my colleagues on what content has worked best, say across the last week or last month.
Personally, I can look at global content benchmarking performances and evaluate my efforts w.r.t. global performances; that's a WIN!

Already good and getting better
What do you like best about the product?
Like any platform, Sprout has a learning curve, but once you get settled in, it's very user friendly and has a robust support (and development) team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the app can be a bit buggy, particularly with respect to post approvals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to advance our posting schedule to over 2 months out, which eliminates a lot of day-exploding-urgent tasks. We've also been able to enlist more members of the team to contribute because of the post approval structure.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We have absolutely loved the support we have received from Sprout, including our amazing account and client success managers. They really feel like partners,
