Efficient Content Scheduling, Needs Better Preview Accuracy
What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciate Sprout Social's reporting capabilities; the intuitive analyst dashboard is exceptionally clean and user-friendly. This feature eliminates the need for complex typing expertise, making it straightforward to understand key metrics. It significantly eases the process of reporting to my team at SQTV. The streamlined design and functionality of these tools save me time and make data interpretation much more accessible. This aspect of Sprout Social greatly enhances my productivity and confidence in handling reporting tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the preview video functionality was 100% accurate across all platforms, especially for Instagram stories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social for scheduling content on multiple platforms, solving our disjointed publishing issues and simplifying collaboration with stakeholders, saving us a lot of time.
Sprout Social makes posting to social media super easy! Love it

I like that I can schdule post and see how they would look on Instagram quick and efficiently

Some glitches with it disconnecting to my platform and having to connect with facebook to log back in

All-in-One Functionality, But Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Multitude of functions in one place: cross-platform social scheduling, insights & reporting data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Random bugs are not uncommon and throw a huge wrench in our social scheduling/strategy. New functionalities on social platforms often take a long time (if ever) to implement on Sprout (ex: instagram max 20 photos, scheduling a mixed video/photo carousel).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the need to schedule content across multiple independent apps. This saves my team a ton of time on native apps, many of which you can't pre-schedule content on.
Great Inbox Management and Reporting, But Paid Metrics Split Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The inbox management is really seamless, I love how everything is in one place for having multiple social channels. The reporting feature is also where I live daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The upcharge in splitting paid metrics vs. organic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving our internal bandwidth problem. This platform allows us to easily manage and keep a pulse on the 7 different social channels that only 1 person is running.
Great for Social Insights, But Customer Support Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The platform's capability to allow us to uncover trending social influence topics through mentions, hashtags and keywords to inform our social strategy and content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Sprout Social acquired the company, the customer service approach has changed, and customer success managers are no longer assigned to every client. As a result of this change, it has become more challenging to stay informed about updates or modifications to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform enables our team to efficiently social listen to creators and brands, rather than relying on the current process of manually searching through individual platforms.
Great Engagement Tools, But Interface and Pricing Need Work
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the engagement features, as it makes it really easy to handle CX issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the interface was cleaner and more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it extremely easy to collect all of the CX comments from different platforms, tag them, and then respond.
Great Scheduling and Team Tools, Room for Improvement As Far as Attribution, Tagging, and Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like the scheduling and calendar tools, the ability to publish and report across multiple accounts, and how the platform supports team environments: task assignments, approvals, custom views, tagging features to organize content and workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The 24-48 lag time on attribution makes it difficult to track any performance in real time.
The fact that there is no YT or TikTok integration and we have to manually export those statistics into our own internal dashboards is extremely challenging for our business.
Manual tagging of posts, given we are a news organization and publishing thousands of pieces of content across 15+ social handles, is difficult and time consuming.

Centralized Social Management with Room for Reporting Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
It's great to have the ability to see everything from different social platforms all in one place and respond. Also helpful to be able to see and respond to app reviews as well.

Reporting could be better:
- Would be helpful to be able to set different SLAs for different types of interactions
- Would be helpful to have reporting that includes automated completions/actions.
Additional features:
- Would be helpful to be able to edit review responses.
- Would be helpful to be able to bulk delete cases that were incorrectly created due to a rule.
The AI is also not very accurate and the rules you create don't always work. It doesn't always catch everything you have in the rule.

Great Features but needs better access to some APIs
What do you like best about the product?
I like the scheduling and analytics tools and the ease by which you can do all those things and also organize everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how you are unable to do certain things like threaded tweets, upload a custom thumbnail for TikTok.

It helps me pull data to help with business ROI.
Sprout Social: Reliable with Room for Growth
What do you like best about the product?
I love the long-standing relationship I've had with Sprout Social, having been with them since their beta testing phase, which has built a strong sense of loyalty and trust over time. My team also appreciates and likes their platform, indicating a general satisfaction and ease of use among my colleagues. Additionally, I find the initial setup process with Sprout Social to be particularly easy and straightforward, facilitating a smooth transition or onboarding for myself and my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Sprout Social has limited features available for lower paying tiers, and accessing features related to influencer management could be made more available or useful within those tiers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to manage social media, eliminating the need to post directly on platforms.
