A powerful social media management platform
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is a powerful social media management platform that I highly rate for its intuitive interface, robust analytics, and ability to streamline collaboration and scheduling across multiple accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
A downside of Sprout Social is its relatively high cost compared to competitors, which may be a barrier for smaller teams or businesses with limited budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sprout Social for scheduling and publishing social media content, monitoring engagement, analyzing performance metrics. We appreciate that we can manage multiple accounts in one place, and collaborate with team members on social strategy and implementation.
Fast & user-friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is an easy-to-use platform for planning social content! I love the way that the calendar is laid out for a great visual in terms of planning and seeing what is coming up ahead on the posting schedule. I use Sprout every day for my job in communications and social media, and it has been easy to learn and implement into the way I plan content. I enjoy seeing the metrics from posts and percent of engagement with each post as well. It fits great into my day-to-day duties as a social media manager! It uploads all posts at high quality as well, which is great because other platforms I've used in the past have chopped the quality a bit when uploading.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social is a little bit on the expensive side of content planning platforms, and so the cost has put a little bit of strain on the budget and looking towards moving away from the platform solely because of the cost and not using all of the features to their fullest extent for the type of content we are putting out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the issue of taking time every day to look at social media analytics and to remember to post on time every day. I mostly enjoy and benefit from the peak times feature, so that we can see what peak times of engagement each day to aim to post during.
Sprout is user-friendly and offers important tools
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy Sprout's function to post across various social media platforms by the click of one button. I also enjoy how Sprout offers tools for measuring social media analytics and social listening which I hope to use more of.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how some of my posts do not go through without explanation and how sometimes, my social media accounts disconnect randomly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of posting natively to various social media accounts.
Sprout Social is a great tool for marketing teams!
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout social helps my team and I keep our multiple brands social platforms organized with a one stop shop to post whatever I need to do at the drop of a hat.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tagging feature on Sprout can be a little harder when you have to create multiple posts to tag on different platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout social is helping cut our execution time in half. We can toggle between brands to post with ease. We can also schedule posts in advance which helps us plan strategies that work.
Content Planning, Community Management and Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to build out social content in one place across teams and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating API's so often, some custom features are not available to schedule. (Threads, reposts to stories)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning, approving, scheduling and engaging with social content all in one place across different teams and pages.
Best Social Reporting Tool I Have Found
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly? The client reporting. Reports are incredibly important to our clients and we have yet to find a better reporting software than Sprout Social.
Easy to generate. Easy to read. And they look good.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much - but from time to time, social profiles will get disconnected from Sprout Social. Probably not their fault but it does get annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Client reporting is such an important aspect to my business. It really helps with showing all the results and work we do.
Sprout Social is a great tool for managing a multitude of social media pages.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Sprout is fairly simple to use. The publishing, reporting, and inbox tab is fairly self-explanatory. As someone who manages, 13 different companies' social media pages, sprout makes it easy for me to switch between them. Their generated reports are also a lifesaver for me. The data and graphs I need easily download into a PDF that is ready to be sent to clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I am creating social posts, I find it hard to tag other people and companies. Drafting the post takes twice the time because I have to wait for Sprout to find the company I am searching for, whereas I can do it on LinkedIn and Facebook almost instantly.
I also wish Sprout would allow us to upload PDFs into the content calendars so I can create carousels on LInkedIn.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps my company manage various clients at once with ease.
Makes Managing 7 Major Boat Shows Possible
What do you like best about the product?
I love scheduling my content out beforehand while using the optimal posting times as a guide. Being able to separate each of our boat shows into different groups keeps things very organized and clear. As you can imagine, managing an Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn for each show can be a lot. The analytics and reporting make wrapping up the show seamless. That does have some hiccups, which I will mention in the following question.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do a lot of external collaborations, which do NOT get pulled into the reports since they weren't posted from our page. I end up pulling over 30 (sometimes reaching over 200) collaborations on Instagram myself and add them into the total report later on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Refer to first question on why i like Sprout.
Effective Tool for Agency Associates
What do you like best about the product?
As an associate at a full-service agency, Sprout Social is one of the platforms I interact with daily—and it’s become an essential part of our social media workflow. We use it primarily for scheduling content across multiple clients, pulling regular performance reports, and doing social listening and competitor analysis.
Sprout shines in two key areas -- scheduling and reporting. The content calendar view is clean, easy to navigate, and makes managing multiple client accounts way more streamlined than juggling native platforms or spreadsheets. I especially appreciate the ability to tag and categorize posts, which helps when you're coordinating with multiple teams or managing campaigns with overlapping goals. Drafting, approving, and scheduling posts across channels is seamless, and the approval workflows are a big win for internal reviews.
Sprout’s reports are visually polished and easy to customize, which is helpful when prepping for client meetings. The prebuilt templates cover most needs—engagement rates, audience growth, platform comparisons—but the custom report builder lets us dial in on specific KPIs when a client asks for something niche. I do wish the reports went a bit deeper on some metrics, but for high-level performance reviews and recurring updates, it gets the job done fast and looks client-ready out of the box.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Sprout Social is a strong all-in-one platform, there’s still room for improvement—especially around its listening and reporting features. Building effective listening queries can be clunky and time-consuming, and sentiment analysis, while generally solid, still requires manual oversight to catch nuance. Reporting is visually clean but sometimes lacks the depth or flexibility needed for more advanced analysis, especially on emerging platforms like TikTok and YT Shorts. Greater customization and deeper insights would go a long way, particularly for agency teams juggling multiple clients with different KPIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout’s scheduling and management tools significantly cut down on the manual work of planning, posting, and monitoring content throughout the week, making it easier to stay organized across multiple accounts. Its listening and analysis features also surface valuable insights that help shape both our content strategy and client reporting.
Flexible Reporting with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to easily gather data for reporting. The flexibility of filtering and accessing older posts directly makes it easy to build yearly reports with different clients, especially when I don't have access to a specific platform manager to get that historic data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more than 12 posts on a single page.
