Valuable Features
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to search by the categories, such as project name, facility, building permit code, etc. It is most helpful when the list of projects our firm is dealing with at one time is lengthy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Regarding what is least helpful about Smartsheet, it would be useful if more features having to do with shifting and changing the aesthetic looks or organization of our content were available. It would be great if there was a 'dark mode' option too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One major benefit I have come to realize in my use of Smartsheet is the opportunity to organize much data and have it stationed in a singular place. For our firm, this allows us to go to one location, as opposed to sifting through our many project folders, for basic information. It has also been helpful in tracking project statuses, so that when one team member is out of office, we can still come to Smartsheet and confirm the status of a project or task.

Offers great utility in the organization of project management.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet can be used in multiple different types of applications. Templates are nice, but we use the sheets to completely build new products -- we want to build new products that work for us, and continue to use newly added functionalities to streamline the programs and software we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of limitations for healthcare, and we would like to have some more functionalities so our workflows can consolidate our programs into SS but cant because we are locked behind some limited features or functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Infrastructurally our teams are now able to use the Smartsheet system and conditional logic and smart algorythms to set up workflows and leverage the technology we were not able to fully capture before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My ultimate recommendation would be to have a user get certified and learn the system and see the different ways that the ss system could replace or improve upon programs and workflows you are already using. You can set automations, notifications, and specific approval workflows that work in many different departments and with many different use cases. Unfortunately, healthcare templates and suggestions don't exist so we are working through these internally and notice functionalities that could improve upon. SS is good about working on best practices for all organizations, although healthcare is an industry that could be tapped into as well, so it is still worth considering the options.

I like the conditional formatting feature. It helps with organization.

I'm not the biggest fan of the card view and the calendar view.

It helps with our department's logistics.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been an effective tool for our business and helped us grow tremendously. Managing shipments and inventory daily in our warehouse has become so simplified. Having all our information under one platform has made our jobs much easier and more effective. The platform's integration capabilities allow our staff to seamlessly connect Smartsheet with other productivity tools and software, from cloud storage platforms to communication apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some functions of Smartsheet that were difficult to master as we started. We soon realized Smartsheet offers many free workshops that allow you to learn and use each part of Smartsheet more effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has enabled our business to realize its true potential. We are no longer digging through files to find the information we need. It has helped us immensely in scheduling projects as well. We no longer miss deadlines or forget about specific tasks. I can keep track of all shipments arriving at my warehouse and easily share them with my colleagues.

Smartsheet is the perfect product to help you significantly impact your team's efficiency. You won't be disappointed!
Best Project Management Tracker
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to be able to track as many projects as possible. Having filters also help organize all of our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fonts may sometimes revert or change back from their original format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We track all of our projects and have created a very reliable timeline—our productivity and response time as increased as we do not miss much information.

What do you like best about the product?
Automating workflow is one feature that we used extensively; we loved this feature the most.
Used to assign the workflow to our workforce, this helps multiple team members to update their project status at the same time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Having multiple tabs opened makes the browser slow. I liked the old format a little bit. There should have been an option to generate code that happens with the excel macro recorder automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use smartsheet as a project tracker. We created forms shared with the end-user to gather their requirements; thereby, we don't have to use resources to develop forms.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to work with Smartsheet, it makes the workflow easier both when creating a new request and for those of us who work on the requests, it is easy to create a request and the workflow is quite simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it to be easier to create a new template in a more professional way without the need to be a professional.

We replaced Robohead for SS finding a shipper solution, and the result is good but could be better

Smartsheet Creates Efficiency and Enables Great Project Communication
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet daily to track orders and projects. My project managers and engineers are able to check this information when they aren't able to log in to our VPN, which is fantastic. Being able to send out a live link to those who don't have Smartsheet is also a wonderful capability that isn't always available with other systems. The attachments function keeps me from having to bog down the sent folder of my email as they can be viewed without having to download the information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of using Smartsheet is that I'm duplicating the information that is already in my accounting software (where I enter my orders). It would be fantastic if the two could somehow talk to one another!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the problem of keeping everyone on my team informed at all times as to what orders have been placed, if they have shipped and if they have shipped when they are due to arrive. Before Smartsheet, I would receive numerous emails a day and had started keeping track of things on individual excel spreasheets. This also allows order information to be found without my fellow employees having to be logged in to our VPN. They can look right on their phone instead of booting up their laptop!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before Smartsheet, our company was lacking organization. I know that others in my company use it for time management, scheduling and the list could go on and on. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Smartsheet to anyone who is on the fence about it!

The fact that it is like Excel and Project COMBINED!

Still learning it, so I have no complaints as of yet.

Smartsheet doesn't really solve my problems; it just makes creating spreadsheets and schedules very easy and easy to train others!
