What do you like best about the product?
The application is neat and easy to understand, even with no prior experience. I also like that you can easily use the copy and paste feature with no glitches sometime found in other cloud-based softwares.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some formula and filter functions may not be as intuitive at first to figure out. Perhaps the offer of start up tips and tricks may be useful. Other option is hint pop-ups as users and working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smarsheet is an excellent application like a simplified form of Microsoft Project. It allowed our team to manage product release and stability testing dates and illustrate Gantt charts to our audience. As a result, we could track on-time and delays with the schedule.

SmartSheet is an easy-to-use tool, very intuitive.

What do you like best about the product?
I have liked the way it continues to evolve. I have a particular and very much a "one-off" situation that requires me to constantly re-invent what we may know as a spreadsheet. IF I have ever felt limited, I realized that after the helpful videos and assistance, I could face these hiccups
with various solutions. Again, the "hiccups" I was facing were more a symptom of a more significant "sickness"--not Smartsheet's capability. I guess I appreciate the way Smartsheet seems approachable.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am a visual learner. I love graphics and charts and seeing data in different forms. I wish Smartsheet would bring in more of the "graphic" and "icon" opportunities that exist in some other software platforms. I struggle with the visual limitations of Smartsheet. The discontinuation of Smartsheet Labs was unfortunate. I felt it lost some of the "adventure" and new frontiers it had started to explore. They may have included such programs as "modules" but, those are add-ons, which may be my biggest problem: the upselling of features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have taken a great deal of information over 20 years and am watching as it takes shape as a valuable asset instead of a liability to our organization. Smartsheet allows me the capability to create data sets providing deep dives and drill-downs. I live and die by the filter feature.

Creating a workflow is not as easy as I think it could be.

We use it to keep track of projects and what we are doing at each project. It helps our technicians be more productive because they are not doing the same things more than once.
Smartsheet keeps me current!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been a tremendous help in staying current with the never ending list of to-do's. The flexibility of customization of columns has allowed me to add/remove lists and keep the flow of relevant data at my cursory view.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have occasionally is the potential to not see the entire spreadsheet if my columns are numerous. This would happen regardless of which software I'd use so I don't think its just a Smartsheet issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can monitor my daily routines and activities, as well as update everyone I share with where I am on specific projects. It helps me stay on task

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of Smartsheet is the ease at which you can view upcoming tasks and quickly mark off any completed tasks. It has definitely been one of the easier programs to use when dealing with colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue I've had is that when using it in conjunction with a business, it can be a little confusing when trying to find the "original" timeline to edit in order to have the other timelines update as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company and my teams have used it in order to simplify the process of meeting deadlines. Smartsheet emails everyone else in the group when a task is completed so that we know when it is our turn to complete a task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Smartsheet should definitely be considered when trying to coordinate timelines between multiple parties within your organization.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Smartsheet is its user-friendly interface and intuitive design, making it an excellent collaboration tool. Smartsheet is mobile-friendly and cloud-based, and the recently added AI features have been a fantastic enhancement. My team and I frequently use WorkApps for our client dashboards and metrics, significantly improving our workflow and data visualization. Additionally, the ease of integration and implementation when building a dashboard is outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
One significant drawback of Smartsheet is its steep learning curve for new users. While the interface is user-friendly, the extensive range of features and functionalities can be overwhelming for beginners. This can lead to a longer onboarding process and may require additional training to fully utilize the platform’s capabilities.
However, Smartsheet offers multiple ways to gain knowledge and support, including a comprehensive YouTube channel and an active community forum, which can help users get up to speed more quickly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team and I have been using Smartsheet for the past five years, and it has evolved into an indispensable tool for us. The solutions we’ve implemented with Smartsheet have had a tremendous impact on our company. We needed software to track our daily deliverables, ensure constant updates, facilitate collaboration, and attach files—all in a cloud-based environment. Smartsheet met all these needs and more. A few months after we launched Smartsheet, a client requested a Key Performance Indicator report. Using our Smartsheet tracker, my team created a metric dashboard, which we presented to the Director. He was thoroughly impressed.

What do you like best about the product?
The most unique and valuable feature of Smartsheet is how well it allows users to create links across multiple sheets. These sheets can hold very complex formulas and tons of data, and Smartsheet still has no problem linking them together seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a wider variety of graph types available to plug right into dashboards. While the current graphs cover all the primary use types (and does it very well), the complexity of data in a lot of my sheets (that's in there because Smartsheet handles all the complex data so well) is often hard to represent with the current dashboard graph offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily solve Project Management related problems. This includes project tracking and scheduling, risk repository boards, and related documentation. Since using Smartsheet, the amount of time required to simply gather information has been reduced significantly. Instead of spending time tracking down numbers and asking individuals for updates, Smartsheet does all that for me. Now, I have a lot more time to solve genuine project problems instead.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a tool that combines all the best elements of MS Excel and Project, is versatile enough to support waterfall or agile projects, and has a ton of great ways for you to visualize data, I highly recommend Smartsheet. It does require some sort comfort or familarity with datasets or excel-type sheets for everyone using it, but it's so worth it for what you get.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to modify templates and find tutorials. The ability to create a workspace and naviagte seamlessley throughout your documents (sheets, reports, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing right now. The updates keep resolving any issues I may have noticed in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking data out of all of our systems and creating a place to upload our reports and then be able to create visuals from the data to help make informed decisons.
A more secure replacement for Google sheets.
What do you like best about the product?
We needed a solution that was almost a direct replacement for Google sheets. Smartsheets was the only other solution that allowed multiple people to update sheets in real time, with forms feeding the sheets in real time. They are constantly updating the product and adding features and automation. Notifications go out to my team when they need to and I can set up a whole workflow of automations sending requests for approvals and notifying the correct people of what work needs to be done. Dashboards summarize the data for my team in one easy to find place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can think of is that there is now a paid certification for the product. That just seems like a corporate "how can we create another revenue stream" project more than a desire to help users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A secure way to have our clients and partners send us information in a format that we choose, that feeds into sheets accessed by our employees to analyze business and provide services/improvements for clients. They also have robust automation that allows me to set up a workflow and forget it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that SmartSheet is easy to use, and easy to read.

What I dislike most about Smartsheet is that sometimes you have to repeatedly log in and out to see changes

I recommend this product in its entirety. I've used it daily for 3+ years and couldn't imagine keeping track of projects without it.
