Smartsheet A Valuable Tool In Our Organization
What do you like best about the product?
It acts as a tool to collect information across departments and used as a dashboard to disseminate information.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very intuitive. When exporting data from Smartsheet to Excel, the filtered data are not filtered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project and portfolio management, work management and task management
Excellent Product for Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a much better option than other products (like Excel). Online format that allows multiple people/changes simultaneously without the need for additional integration of products/licenses. We can store employee data along with attachments so everything is in a single location which speeds up our processing times.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have a single complaint about the product. It's great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for a variety of things ranging from contract management/tracking to the onboarding of our personnel. It helps us with the management of tasks and the workflows associated with them.

I like how it is able to be shared and used in real time. I like that I can see history of who has accessed and when.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind, improvements are always being made, perhaps better notice of what improvements have been made and how it impacts use

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great platform - very user friendly and an amazing tool for Project Managers
What do you dislike about the product?
It has very much the excel look and feel to it which may be off-putting to some users.

I have had no problems with Smartsheet - love using it when I am able to as a guest user.

What do you like best about the product?
Easily adopted as it is familiar interface like excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many templates but to adopt them for a different use may not be as easy, especially with reports and dashboards. Would be great to have some features like "walk me". University is time consuming.

An advanced version of Excel, missing only a few features.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that teammates are able to be in the program and utilize features (including updating) in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's incredibly difficult to import and export in the program.

Smartsheets is very easy to navigate and has been helpful in the last ten months that I have used it for my school. I like that there is a search bar that works well if I forget how to get to something I have been able to just search it.

I have not found any downsides to smartsheets yet.

Unmatched for Team Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can collaborate with other team members when managing projects. In our organization, we have a host of projects that are running simultaneously. With that said, it is nice that everyone can see all projects (even the ones that they are not assigned) just to be familiar with the progress of a project. Also, assigning team members to tasks has been especially helpful so that we know who's responsible for a certain tasks. Lastly, I like that Smartsheet is intuitive and personalizable. The flexibility and ease of tools that are available allow me to customize each project sheet according to the project's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides of Smartsheet is the cost. For smaller organizations it may be harder for them to afford the tool, and in my opinion, of all the tools I have tried Smartsheet is the best. In our organization, there are some changes we have had to make with licensing due to cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps our organization to keep all projects in one place, and allows members of our organization (whether licensed or not) to be able to view progress of the projects.
Great place to keep information organized in different views.

I enjoy that you are able to create different types of workspaces all within one platform instead of having to open up different applications for different uses.

It is a bit of a learning curve to use compared to the more common Microsoft/Google softwares that most people are used to.

Helping keep tasks & projects organized.
User-Friendly Tool with Easy Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I love Smartsheet's user-friendly interface, which makes it much easier to use compared to Microsoft Project. I appreciate the convenience of being able to save schedules easily to a single-page PDF for client sharing. Its cloud-based nature is another positive aspect that appeals to me. The small footprint and seamless integration with platforms like Copart also enhance my experience with the tool. It's extremely user-friendly, and that's a significant reason why I would choose to buy it again.

I find Smartsheet user-friendly for construction scheduling, with a simple setup and easy PDF export for clients. Its cloud-based nature and integration capabilities make it efficient and desirable.
