Love SmartSheet - it's like Excel on steroids
What do you like best about the product?
Great place to be able to collaborate with the team. Love all the dropdown and formatting options within each cell. It has been instrumental for our team to be able to corral our projects into one, accessible place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish you could change a column title -- I don't think you can once the sheet has been created. I also notice that unlike Excel, you can't easily highlight multiple rows at once by clicking and dragging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to be able to upload documents, assets and links right to a row. It helps us avoid having emails lost or getting buried because we know where to find uploads other team members have shared. Also love that it is cloud based and I can access from work or home.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to facilitate communications effectively and keep records altogether. We use Smartsheet to track project tasks among the project team and a separate list to track departmental task list. The transparency of status, discussion and communication through the note, integrate with email, all help everyone on the same page, which is important for successful project /resource management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have too many complaints about Smartsheet. Comparing heavy weight tool like MS-Project, there are functions like different baselines or plan vs. actual function are traded off by choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep all stakeholders informed on task status and share communications between involved parties. Saving a lot time to dig information out from email and writing weekly status reports.
Smart sheet is a very helpful resource.
What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration is straightforward. Automatic reminders for calibrations needing to be renewed are high functioning. Feels very secure, and all of my data is secure. Automated emails are a fantastic feature. The ability to add attachments and comments to rows are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, wish the autosave feature was better. Overall, I am very happy about using smart sheet and the ability to have multiple sheets for multiple people to work on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a record of all calibrated equipment with all inventory numbers, equipment parts, vendors, and location. Reminders of when equipment is due for a new calibration is great

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Smartsheet is its ease of use, and its features (products, automations, formulas).
Smartsheet makes it simple to quickly build a coherent and robust workflow.
New users are drawn to Smartsheet because of it's mixture of familiar features from other older and pre established softwares and new and easy to understand features.
Constant new releases are also a big differential.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downsides that I can think of, are some bugs and missing features for dashboards, the lack of a formula debugging system and a meaningful desktop app (the desktop app behaves just like the browser version).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before smartsheet, I didn't have an efficient and visual way to organize my tasks and synchronize with my development team. Now, our tasks and priorities are better organized/presented and registered on a database, helping with our task management and helping to create a way to track the distribution of tasks
Intuitive and flexible workspace to get organized with your team
What do you like best about the product?
Its versatility. It's more intuitive than a spreadsheet but brings in all that functionality while also allowing you to create automation and filters that customize to your specific needs in almost every possible way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it's so customizable,it can be tedious to get started with all the different types of sheets you need to create substantial enough information to really take advantage of the reports and workspaces. It's incredibly detailed and what effort you put in is what ease you will get.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's been invaluable to access the same sheets and information, create reports for each other, and stay updated on team progress and needs, especially since post-COVID work life means much of our time is still spent working remotely and coordinating online.
Smartsheet is a practical tool for managing tasks across a team.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it's similar to excel - it's easy to filter and to assign tasks to different members of your team and they can receive push notifications for upcoming due dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it difficult to add additional tasks and make subgroups. Overall, Smartsheet's interface is very simple and easy to learn, but I do not find it easy to group tasks together. It could be more visually appealing and/or offer users different ways to view the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps my team of 4 manage tasks and projects throughout the fiscal year. It keeps us organized and stay on top of our deadlines. At the end of the year, we analyze our data through the data visualization feature.
Smartsheet Is a Tool to help with Success
What do you like best about the product?
The calendar view and Gantt view are great for keeping a shipping and project management schedule. The system is hardly ever down, and the support team is active in their responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could select multiple boxes while editing a form. It would allow me to build new forms and make significant edits to preexisting ones. Same with dynamic views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet runs our company's entire order processing system, WMS, and billing. Our shipping schedule is run off Smartsheet for all our company's operations. We generate packing lists and estimates for clients and vendors. It is a highly versatile tool that can improve any business.

What do you like best about the product?
The capability to share and collaborate within the workspace sheets, and receive inputs seamlessly through sharing forms. I like the ability to have required and non-required fields within the form, and be able to have email updates from SmartSheet whenever any changes are made.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside has been the learning curve of using the automation tools and everything that SmartSheet has to offer. While there seems to be many benefits, it is difficult to incorporate all of them due to having to be familiar with the functions and not truly understanding the quickest and best ways to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem that Smartsheet has solved is organizing upcoming tasks and collecting data quickly from the team through the forms. It is beneficial because the worksheet is tracking upcoming deadlines with other pertinent information.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using smartsheet for various reasons. We use it as a project tracker for our website product roadmaps and the various tasks associated with this project. It allows me to align work, people and cross-functional teams across the organization.
I also use smartsheet to track my task lists and the best part is I am able to create sub tasks for a project and group them under a parent task - it also allows me to track the status of projects.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure if this smartsheet is a tool i can share with agency partners as there might be enterprise grade security controls that might not allow us to share it outside the enterprise making it little challenging to use it as a collabrative tool

It allows me to keep track of all my projects and their status in one place
Helpful in many aspects of my work
What do you like best about the product?
I love the capability to connect different sheets together and reallly create a tracking framework. It is easy to collaborate with colleagues within and outside of my organization. The forms functionality is helpful in being able to gather information from my team in a way that is easily reviewed and summarized.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I am not using Smartsheet every day, I sometimes feel that is a bit complex and I have to "re-learn" how to do something if I haven't done it in a while. I feel that there is often funcitonality that I am not using just because I don't know how.

Having a shared space to be able to collaborate with both members inside my organization and outside my organization on projects is really helpful so that everyone can stay on the same page.
