What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great project planning app that I really like. Its greatest asset is excellent automation, which saves users a lot of time and energy managing projects. With tools such as predefined templates, automatic task assignments, and notifications, it's easy to keep track of all actions and processes. Another advantage of this application is clarity and simplicity for users. The smartsheet has a very intuitive interface that is easy to use and navigate. But it also offers enough advanced features for advanced users who wish to set up more. I also appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with other users on projects. Smartsheet enables document sharing, communication and task allocation, which increases productivity and efficiency of the team's work. Overall, I can say that smartsheet is a great choice for project planning. With its excellent automation and clarity for users, it allows you to manage your projects efficiently and delivers
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, I have to say I'm very disappointed because of the lack of a key function and it's the creation of macros. JInak is a great app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to the smartsheet, my workflow is set up better. He helps me greatly in creating the project plan, vbsky and determining the critical path. If a task is delayed the smartsheet itself notifies both the sponsor and the executor of the work.
Makes sharing projects and info with my team so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to share milestones of projects with colleagues, being able to delegate, to see what the red flags are to achieving goals, etc. I like to be able to access projects on the cloud and not have to worry about version control, who has changed what, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a bit hard to navigate, doesn't feel as user friendly as Monday for example. I feel like new employees need a bit more training to understand all functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning for projects or marketing calendar for content, social media, print bookings, etc.

Very efficient project tool
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using smartsheet for a year now at work for various projects, and i really like how easy, intuitive, and user-friendly the tool is. I can create implementation plans, risk registers, use multiple formulas, have project dashboards and also generate reports and many more items. Smartsheet workspace also acts as a storage system where we can group our projects, create templates and artefacts and file them in project folders. I am very grateful for the multiple smartsheet resources and videos available for newbies like me. I always go back to the smartsheet resources anytime i need to understand anything. Smartsheet basically meets all of the needs and requirements of a project management team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside i can think of is that it doesn't have all the excel functions, which is understandable as this is not Microsoft excel, and there are ways to work around it. Smarthseet also does continue to update its functions, so i am sure in the future, more features will be released.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps to plan, organise and monitor projects in one central space. We can create a whole project plan in one smartsheet and use the dashboard to provide a visual summary of the project plan during meetings. Smartsheet also has publish and share options which benefit us greatly as we can link our project plans and dashboards on Ms teams/SharePoint site in view only mode for the wider project stakeholders to access easily.
Best experience and an amazing and efficient way to organize your work
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet enables us to keep track of our projects and post updates for everyone linked in the project to see - these users are from different departments and locations. It helps in being efficient and getting the updates across within seconds while everything is tracked.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed that the pages do not update on real-time when someone has posted an update (especially during meetings when it's simultaneously being updated) - we have to refresh every time to see other updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While managing projects, putting all the information together and making it visible to other project stakeholders become difficult. With Smartsheet, this has become very easy as everything is centralized and easily accessible.
Relatively smooth experience with a few challenges
What do you like best about the product?
The setup and configuration of cell values are relatively easy to understand for someone who does not use software like excel extensively. My reference is mostly with usage of MS excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
For attempting to automate data input from an external source to smartsheet such as the use of datashuttle, it requires all users to have it if we will add it at our company subscription which drives the subscription cost to a high level. It would be better if the company subscription can be customized for each user instead of the total users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use smartsheet to visually present day-to-day operations performance of our production lines such as hourly output, quality issues and audit tour results. It made data collection and presentation more efficient.
Great experience using Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to put together a variety of planning documents, calendars, and communications plans. It was tough to use at first but I quickly got the hang of it and how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limit pre-made templates. They aren't explained ho to use and how I can move codes and edit them to make them more to my liking. I struggled with the social media one as it wouldn't let me copy code to add more things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the ability to create sleek-looking marketing plans and communications calendars that I can share with my managers and colleagues. It has allowed me to have my plan in one place where I can follow it.
Great for sharing data
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great for sharing data across different departments and countries. The online forms make data entry quick and simple, while protecting the raw data from accidental corruption.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropdown selections are hard-coded into the column properties. It would be fantastic if these could be made dynamic by referencing another sheet.

If this could be generated as a link that anybody could use it would prevent having to send update requests to everyone who might one day want to add to an entry.
The online forms could also use some more dynamic options for what happens upon submission - such as displaying a system-generated reference to the user, or being sent to a dynamic URL which contains information from the form just submitted.

Excel spreadsheets can be problematic when used by multiple people simultaneously. They also don't offer the email integration that comes with Smartsheet. With Smartsheet we can have many people working on the data simultaneously and get notified of relevant updates by email.
Simple and affordable Smartsheet solutions
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy and affordable it is to use Smartsheet. It allows data to be collected from a range of people without the need for special software or skills, while also allowing non-technical users to run simple scripts and apply Excel-like functionality focused on business objectives. It also has a range of accessibility options that make it easy to work with both internal and external company projects - including writing content, storing information, creating accounts and producing reports effectively. This makes Smartsheet one of my favorite organisational tools both in the office and remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is versatile, but using it for the first time can be challenging. It is recommended that you take an online introductory course or consult an expert in the program to get started quickly and learn how all the features work. By doing this, you will be able to take full advantage of Smartsheet's capabilities without experiencing the unnecessary hassle that some people have encountered when trying to figure out the interface on their own.

Data can be accessed easily from a single source and its accuracy can be ensured through Smartsheet.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the flexibility of the Smartsheet platform, with the pre-loaded templates to help get things started to the adjustability of the fields. I find the forum useful for navigating, managing, and sharing the sheets. It is also helpful to add external documents and links to the product that we create.
What do you dislike about the product?
During different times, it would be useful if tool tips could appear giving us suggestions how to automated different tasks. What Smartsheets calls some functions is different from other spreadsheet programs we are usually familiar with. It would also be immensely helpful if there could be a Windows App that could be installed, using a browser is powerful, but keyboard shortcuts are my life and browsers do not use standard shortcuts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simpler templates that allow quick creation of sheets. Smartsheets gives us users the power without having to spend hours looking online for templates and potentially paying for them on unknown sites. Then having to edit those sheets to make them powerful for us.
Surprisingly powerful for data entry, management, and project management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets provides a number of options that Excel does not such as web form based entry and simple easy dashboarding. It's great for users who want to build forms, sheets, and tracking tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheets is a developing product in my opinion - there are often times that I would run into a function or minor issue that I wished was available that may seem quite simple but has not been developed as of yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I built a data collection and management system in Smartsheets. I chose smartsheets due to its ability to enable web form based entry. This ease of data entry removed technological barriers for the users who would be using the sheets - it also enabled simple data entry through tablets which was important for me.
