My Smartsheet user experience
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility and versatility, collaboration and communication, most especially automation and integrations. Smartsheet helps me big time in fulfilling my daily responsibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Smartsheet takes time to load or is very slow. The App also doesn't refresh at times and I have to close and relaunch the App multiple times in the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Doing repetitive tasks, monitoring projects and third-party app integrations. These are just some of the problems that Smartsheet helps us overcome. Smartsheet has helped our company manage tasks, schedules and projects effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build and piece together multiple sheets or reports like "LEGO's" to form a complete multi-dimensional workspace that speaks to the individual users in a simple format and cohesively relays information to a corporate audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
When closing out projects, most information must be exported off the smart sheet servers and placed in Excel. The biggest issue we have is how to get the attached documents from smartsheets downloaded without having to drive down into each individual attachment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laminates the time and work spent creating excel sheets between business units and unifies departments.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is great for tracking complex project tasks, automated reminders, and dashboards to visualize project/task status, communication, and resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Communication via Smarsheet can be challenging if a lot of back and forth is required, particularly among teams whose default is email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped me to cut down on email and data entry. My team enters questions, feedback, and supply requests into a Smartsheet form that updates a worksheet where I track everything. My biggest challenge is getting teams that are used to email to switch to Smartsheet for communication.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has so many great benefits that help me to keep the vast amount of data and projects our team has in flight in one easy-to-access and read location. Having the ability to create sheets, reports, calendars, etc to suit the needs of our team is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides of Smartsheet is some of the reporting shortcomings when trying to populate data for a dashboard. I wish that there was a way to have the data from a report automatically update based on the parameters set, rather than having to manually adjust it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving many of our problems, including data collection, scheduling, and project management. We are also utilizing Smartsheet as a way to correlate Resource calendars and manage multiple project schedules.
Professional and accurate online tool for PMs
What do you like best about the product?
The collaborative feature, as this is an online tool that can be shared across the different teams for each project, so all members can edit and provide what is needed
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it a little slow; sometimes the load screen time can be too much. When someone is in a rush, this can be a little annoying. This is not happening inside the same screen, but when you need to open the project or change screens (like go from one plan to another)

Provide a central and professional tool for the company that allows using a shared understanding and reporting solution for the project team and the board.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the automation in which I can set reminders and updates to the necessary people so we can remain on top of our projects. I also love the proof function.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to include others who are not licensed users. Also, you cannot download proofs with edits for others to review/see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a team on track with projects so we don't lose them in our emails. It also helps us with managing agreements and contracts. The dashboard feature is nice.
An invaluable tool for project management & job tracking
What do you like best about the product?
How simple the sheets are the understand and integrate into your workflow. All of the tools used in the process of creating and maintaining a file are simple and intuitive. I have tried other similiar GANTT chart tools and none have been so simple to maintain and present to non-project management focused employees
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that predecessors column could be more intelligent when updating/deleting other predecessors. Some changes that would seem logical to a human brain can result in breaking a number of predecessors which is very frustrating
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking & maintaining 6+ month long projects to not only keep track of task progress but also to be able to update management on key milestone and delivery dates. This program saves me HOURS in the early stages of any project.
Useful for remote collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great way for multiple users to collaborate remotely on complex tasks. The "cell history" feature is extremely useful for tracking who made edits and when. It is a solid tool for tracking/record-keeping, and the notifications are helpful for keeping posted on recent changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like more flexibility in the "sort" feature. Currently, you can't undo a sort once it has been saved (and Smartsheet autosaves, I think every minute if you don't click--a wonderful feature in general, not so much in this case). It would be helpful to have the capacity to do a quick sort and not have that sort change the sheet permanently. Perhaps they will add this feature in future.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to have the sheets communicate with each other with automation. The formulas are easy to use and implement as they are similar to those used in excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
When multiple people are working on a sheet, it isn't live updated like google sheets. You have to save or refresh the sheet to see the updates or changes the other person made. This causes a delay, and we have found it easier to do a screen share in a meeting and have one person make changes to the sheet while everyone else offers suggestions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to track our progress, issues arising, time spent on each specific project, and goals and sales. We can see a measurable difference daily with the daily graphs in our dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely intuitive and user-friendly. Its automation features alleviate a ton of back-and-forth emailing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their pivot app does not function well and is frustrating to use while testing due to delayed updating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for a number of things, including requests from our frontline to the backline, project management, automatic notifications, document generation, document signatures from customers and other items. We also build dashboards for our management to be able to quickly get a view of the workload for different areas.
