Great project management and workload planner tool.
What do you like best about the product?
the UI is simple to understand and easy to learn, very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to have 2 open windows with the project plan, and the workload. It would be great if I could see the workload planner get updated in real time, while changing things in the smartsheet planner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
to have visual aid of the tasks done by my agency and the other agencies that require cross-team platform communication.
A very seamless processing website. Great for organising and keeping track of projects.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being to keep track of all of my different projects and deadlines. It's useful that all of the team can you and update the sheets, which as long as people fill out in a timely manner, keeps us all informed of arising matters.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app is not so good. The formatting and speed of the sheets are very slow - if this was improved, it would make WFH much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is useful for knowing what status projects are at, what tasks have been done and set for the future. This is particularly useful when a client calls to check on the progress and the relevant team member is not in the office - other members are able to update the client using information filled out on the sheets.
Perfect for shared documents between organizations.

Shared working documents between organizations. Really good tool driving projects with both internal and external project members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some time to get used to the way of working with Smartsheet. You need to get out of the "spreadsheet" way of working.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Smartsheet combines flexibility with structure. The Gantt charts are incredibly intuitive and make managing dependencies and shifting priorities seamless. Real-time collaboration, centralized task management, and the ability to quickly adjust timelines without losing visibility have made it an essential tool for our team. It feels like a perfect balance between simplicity and powerful project management features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback for me is the licensing model. I currently have only one license, which means my team members can’t make edits, and full collaboration requires additional paid seats. On top of that, API access is locked behind a requirement for at least three Pro plan licenses, which significantly increases the cost. For small teams or organizations that just need specific advanced features, this pricing structure can feel restrictive and expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company, priorities and requirements change very frequently, which makes project planning and resource allocation a real challenge. Smartsheet has completely transformed how we handle this. With its Gantt charts, I can easily adjust timelines, reassign tasks, and keep the entire team aligned without losing visibility or control.
Before Smartsheet, shifting priorities often caused confusion and delays. Now, we can adapt quickly, maintain clear communication, and ensure every project stays on track—even in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. What do you like best about the product?
It gives a clean, neat appearance of the document.
What do you dislike about the product?
It just seems like another document that could be interpreted on better software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'd only say that it keeps a cleaner appearance to the documents but overall, I'm not that thrilled with it.
Streamlining teamwork across borders with ease.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet works really well as a global collaboration tool. It’s a great platform to organize work across different teams around the world. Its functionalities such as workspaces, permission management, workflow automation, and the easy updating of reports and dashboards make Smartsheet a very powerful application. In addition, once workflows are established, Smartsheet makes periodic updates very easy to implement. Finally, I’d highlight how simple it is to integrate the tool into the company’s daily activities (such as time tracking, lessons learned, travel requests, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, it can take a little time to get used to the platform, but with frequent use those difficulties tend to fade away and it becomes much easier to navigate. One challenge, though, is collaborating with external companies that don’t use Smartsheet. In those cases, I usually have to export information to Excel to be able to share it. Also, the customer support communication could be improved, as the number of emails the platform sends sometimes feels a bit excessive.

Smartsheet helps me keep multiple initiatives organized, coordinating efforts across different teams and locations. It makes it easier to follow progress, assign responsibilities, and ensure deadlines are met. It also helps me to keep on track with compliance requirements of the company.
Smartsheets is intuitive to setup and use
What do you like best about the product?
What we like best about Smartsheet is how easy it is to customize and use, especially automation. We use it as the platform to operate our department and have saved significant task time with automation. This replaced 2 online platforms and streamlined our whole operation. Seems every time we need it to do something new, we experiment and find out it's indeed possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, no dislikes, does everything we need it to do.

Provides an online platform that didn't exist for our business. The customization and automation provided a way to easily build a platform without having to use customized software.
Affordable technology for team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand capabilities. We also like the ease of collaboration between team members and supervisors, and the real-time updates. Customer support is quick and thorough. We use this many times every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use the basic capabilities right now. We are looking to expand our use of the integration features, but so far we have not had any problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet to collaboratively work on Accounts Payable invoices and approvals. This allows the approvers and management to verify invoices and expenses, ensuring timely payment and accurate financial reporting. This absolutely helps when approvers are out of the office, as they can access and authorize payments remotely.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Smartsheet's dynamic dashboard and the variety of reports I can generate from a master sheet, which enhances my project tracking efficiency. The accessibility and widespread usage of Smartsheet, combined with its comprehensive resources and templates, also make it incredibly valuable for managing my workload and navigating complex tasks.

I found that setting up Smartsheet can involve a bit of a learning curve, especially if you're aiming to create a more robust setup.

I use Smartsheet to solve my workload challenges, effectively managing and navigating multiple grantees within our portfolio.
Excellent for Events
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the fact that you can have so many people collaborate. It's our exclusive platform for having people sign up for our events. It's so convenient to have their information all on one sheet as opposed to other platforms we've used, where you have to click into each individual person to see their answers.
Also, the ability to provide access to other team members saves so much time instead of having to download a report whenever we have a new signup.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the form-building aspects aren't as easy as I think they can be. For example, I'll add a question that we later want to delete but when I remove it from the form, it still stays on the left-hand sidebar and I haven't been able to figure out how to remove it (I could Youtube it, but think it should be easy enough to figure out without that).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest was the information being held all on one sheet. In the past there was so much time wasted upon every report we had to download. Now, it's all in one central location where our entire team has access.
