A very good experience with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
It is an online spreadsheet that can be shared with multiple users, allowing them to use and interact with the sheet simultaneously.
The number of templates and, more importantly, the ease of setting up and maintaining conditional formatting. On other spreadsheets, conditional formatting is a pain.

What do you dislike about the product?
The manual save feature. I hate it, I wish there were a sheet that saves every keystroke with an online product.
I've lost work countless times as I've forgotten to manually save, which I understand is a "me" problem; an automatic save feature would help this idiot out!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, the firm uses Smartsheet to track and manage multiple projects. I personally use it to track the compliance of ongoing projects and registers for the firm. The registers can be accessed by multiple users at the same time, through the firm instead of just one user at a time.
I love Smartsheet, it really helps me to track my working progress!

Sharing the data with another colleague, so we can collaborate to make the jobs more accessible and transparent
What do you dislike about the product?
We have to use Internet all the time and we have to save our work more often. There's no auto saved at all! I'm afraid my task is gone so i have to save my paper really really often
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to input all the progress that we made in a month. I can input the progress and our director can monitor all the progress that we made
Impressed by Smartsheets Ability to Host Multiple Database
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to showcase live data reports to both executives and supervisors on all levels and departments
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet may sometimes prevent outside users from seeing data and will require them to have a license to view said data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue I am having is creating dashboards in Excel that represent accurate data. However, because the data needs to be updated by other engineers throughout the week, the information is not correct. However with Smartsheet, I am able to get proper data from all teams including my fellow engineers and am now able to present to upper management

What do you like best about the product?
What I most like about Smartsheet are its multiple functionalities, the fact that you can create automation according to your needs is beneficial. Smartsheet teams is constantly improving their formulas to manage your projects as your convenience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't tell if this is something I'd dislike about Smartsheet; I would suggest adding some functions like the one to create a dynamic table.
A nice update in the filter would be significant to display all the filter options without entering into the filter window.
Lastly, a function that allow you to have more than one sheet per document.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has been very helpful to keep on track all our projects; having all the information consolidated in one site is great. There's no need to have multiple files; everybody with access to the internet is able to access the information.
Super easy to use software
What do you like best about the product?
All my information and scheduling are all together on one sheet. My whole company uses it as our daily Gant sheet, simplifying each department. Work orders are completed in a digital format, also
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to say negative about this software. The only thing that has been brought to my attention is that when others enter their information into the sheets, and someone is already using the line, it does not lock the other person out or at least show that another PM is already using that line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have now gone from paper work orders to now digital format. All jobs are fully transparent throughout all departments. Our PM's are more efficient in their careers.

I really like how Smartsheet simplifies complex tasks with its modular architecture and clean interface. Adding attachments is effortless, and I can use the individualized reports, dashboards, and discussion indicators to keep everyone on my team on the same page. The tiered checklists are also useful for staying organized when faced with a challenging project - they make it easier than ever to identify every detail without missing anything important.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of features in Smartsheet compared to Excel. It would be extremely helpful if Smartsheet had auto-update capabilities with form submissions, as well as pre-populated drop-down columns based on existing data. These features would greatly streamline reporting and make using this software much more efficient.

Smartsheet helps me take control of the tasks and initiatives I'm responsible for. Its features make it much easier for me to collaborate with team members on projects related to client-based work.
This is the easiest way to create a Gantt chart!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature of Smartsheet is the easy way to create a Gantt chart - so quick and effortless. Also, using the Predecessor option make my job a real pleasure, as there is no need to update dates and periods manually!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be amazing if Smartsheet has better views for exporting the charts. Very often I need to export for my clients and the missing feature is to have the Gantt chart view on a separarate page. Also fit to page option for exporting in PDF would be create.

Smartsheet helps me visualising timelines and project workflows. It allows me bring in one view all the small project details the client needs to see and put them on a timeline.

How you can collaborate with your teams or cross functionals in one place and project manage upcoming key deliverables and key customer moments, also, it is very helpful to have the ability to create rules to automate processes.

Visually can be a little bit too much, and sometimes is not very user friendly, we needed so much guidance to build the type of documents that we needed, we reached out to multiple people to find the answers that we needed as well because the FAQs weren't enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To have real time visibility of upcoming projects/deliverables in a global team, to increase global collaboration and manage better the workload. Also to have visibility of how we are prioritizing our clients through the activities that include.

I like the possibility to add attachments to a sheet and tag people.

What do you dislike about the product?
The current text formatting lacks quality. I desire the capability to apply colors and emphasize text within cells. Moreover, I'm not particularly fond of the Gantt view as it lacks intuitiveness and doesn't allow for convenient placement of milestones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I handle numerous projects simultaneously. My typical approach in Smartsheet is to share project phases, timelines, and milestones with the customer through a shared sheet. Additionally, I utilize it as an issue log, providing a dedicated space for the customer to report any issues/bugs that require our attention throughout the project.
