Good for large teams
What do you like best about the product?
It's helpful for large teams as multiple people can access and see edits in real time. Also, you can set long-lead and short-lead project goals so nothing falls through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting used to the platform can be a little tricky. At first, it was hard for me to understand how to add a new section and/or add new tasks within the section. It gets easier to use once you practice a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It ensures that everyone is on the same page about project expectations and timing. You get emails when tasks are "assigned" to you, and it's clear when that specific task is due.

Smartsheet Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of smartsheets. It is like excel with a lot more funcitonality, and almost functions like a 4th generation programming language inside a spreadsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about smartsheet is the API. It is really difficult to ascertain the correct cell. I forget which off of the top of my head, but either the rowid or columnid that is needed for the API is not exposed in the sheet itself, which makes it difficult without iterating through to find the field you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We track a lot of things in smartsheets. We store our corrective actions, project status, and even OEE metrics. It helps us be more productive because we have a central location for all of this information.
We are discussing using it as a WIKI in the future for business knowledge as well.

Is a very useful, intuitive and practical tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it allows you to adjust the sections voices as you prefer depending on the client and project-related needs, and it also allows people who are added later to have access to all communication and documentation. Automations related to message notifications and daily activity summaries are also very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't tell what are disadvantages, I'm very satisfied with this tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem it solves is all the communications scattered in different places and not reaching the right people. Thanks to Smartsheet, all communications and documentation are in one place that acts as a repository, and even people who join a project later have access to everything. Also being able to tag the person you want to communicate with allows to always specifically reach the right people.

Very user-friendly and able to make reports without overloaded information for the client.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are a little complicated for our team members who are not computer lit, but they get it figured out. ONE thing I would like to see - Once I downloaded the desktop version it makes me Log on every day- I like the desktop version but the online version did not make me re-login and the APP on ipad does not do that-
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using other apps, the reporting features provided an overload of information- with Smartsheet you can customize and trim down. I hope it stays simple.
Ease of use for Multi Editor Projects
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of using the platform for multiple user at one moment. This ensure you can work simultaniously on projects and that your collegues can help you with making the project work on the longterm.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is more dificult to program different features in the online platform. For me it is easier to use the Microsoft excell tool. If there was a explaination for the toolset this could be easily resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The follow up from different stages of the porduct can be easily showed in a visual graph which makes it very easy for non involved collegue to see the timeline of the project.
SmartSheet is the way to go if you want to save time and have a nice user-friendly interface

The user-friendly interface and the facility to generate automations whitout requiring technical or coding knowledge.

Maybe some fine-tuning options on certain aspects are missing.
I'm missing an option to come back to previous data/versions easily in "real-time" more like Excel online/SharePoint does.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows to greatly reduce the time required to do "Administrative tasks" such as sending manual emails to stakehodlers asking for updates or reminders (Notifications & Update Request features).
Also it is great to configure and share Dashboards with multiple data sources for people to be up to date without necessity to manually update them.

Smartsheet - An organisational godsend
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I like best about Smartsheet is its versatility and flexibility. It allows me to create and manage various types of projects, tasks, and workflows. I use it to manage complex projects with multiple team members and Smartsheet meets all my needs in this department.
Another feature that impresses me is Smartsheet's collaboration function. My team all manage both group tasks and individual tasks simultaneously in real time, allowing for seamless communication, and the ability to manage eachothers workload. We are only in the office 2 days a week, so this feature is incredibly beneficial for those wfh days.
Moreover, Smartsheet's integration google is a huge advantage.It keeps all my work streamlined and centralised. I am able to send rows of data to my colleagues easily and can keep on top of what tasks are yet to be done and who they are assigned to, all from my mailbox.

I enjoy most things about Smartsheet but there is quite a bit of learning to be done when it comes to the functionality, especially to those who are new at project management, or spreadsheet tools.

Smartsheet allows for improved task tracking. My main job is managing the schedule each day. The functionality means that my team can track tasks, monitor progress, and assign responsibilities effectively. It provides clear visibility into task statuses and deadlines. This also means that projects aren't left behind or forgotten, and fosters accountibility in that you can see who is responsible for what.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a big fan of Smartsheet's comprehensive organisational capabilities. Not only does it allow me to easily monitor various projects, but it also streamlines collaboration and communication between team members with features like automated notifications that remind us when tasks are due or other changes have been made. Other customisation options allow me to create the ideal view for monitoring content or quickly brainstorming ideas. All in all, these incredible features make Smartsheet my go-to project management tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Smartsheet's interface is unintuitive and inflexible, making it difficult to navigate. The search function often returns irrelevant information, making it unnecessarily difficult to find specific documents or data. It also lacks integration with other desktop applications - something I think should be standard for any cloud-based software of its size and stature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to plan my engineering projects, whether they're major renovations or simple repairs. It helps me communicate the project schedule clearly and keeps everyone on board so that our goals are met efficiently - a bonus I appreciate as an engineer.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Smartsheet's intuitive design incredibly useful. The mobile app makes it easy for anyone to access projects from anywhere without having to buy additional licences or create new user accounts, making remote working and collaboration quick and painless. In addition, the ability to quickly generate powerful reports that visualise data across all my project sheets is a great way to analyse changes over time. Finally, I love how easy it is to navigate through Smartsheet's tools; so much so that no matter what task I'm given in this platform, it's all done efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that when multiple users are working on a document simultaneously in Smartsheet, saving can be confusing compared to what you're used to in Google. However, after further instruction, we were able to get the job done. Also, many people would prefer to have just one sheet with tabs instead of having to create a whole workspace/folder each time they need multiple sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Smartsheet, my team and I benefit from streamlined project planning that helps us allocate resources more efficiently. We can easily track the progress of each work stream, so we know what needs more attention, while also being aware of minor changes or adjustments along the way.
