Very helpful project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is what my team and I use to keep on track of all our Marketing projects for all our brands. Staff can be in different locations and time zones, and come to our sheets and update the team or share content we are waiting on.
It is also helpful to have a project list that pulls from all the sheets with tasks you are assigned. This allows me and other staff to keep track across all sheets of what tasks we are assigned and what the deadlines are.

What do you dislike about the product?
Projects can get missed if you have teammates who are not using Smartsheet effectively. A feature I wish they had was push notifications to email that were automated to notify users when tasks are due. I know you can set up some notifications, but I would want them automated for those users who maybe don't know how to use Smartsheets that well, so stay out of it, or who use it but don't keep on top of their tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets solve our project management problem. This benefits our team when we have members out or who leave suddenly, someone else on the team can see those tasks and jump right in. This also helps with collaboration with our teams in other states.
Excellent live sharing tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is user-friendly and can also be used on mobiles and tablets. Vendors can still collaborate even if they are not included in our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some back-office aspects of the license administration and account disconnecting email addresses from one account to another has been a hassle. Thankfully, the team is resourceful and solution-oriented and has found patches to solve our issues. But they shouldn't have to find patches; maybe some programming revision could find a permanent solution for the transfer issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of open items, of prospects and collating information from several team members into a single file.
I can easily create gantt charts for my projects in IT industry using smartsheet.
What do you like best about the product?
The possibility to reuse previously created gantt charts as templates for other projects. Different options for sharing the created charts (access via link for everyone or restricted, etc.). Intuitive UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot block out the Holidays in the calendar when preparing the schedule for the project (or maybe I just don't know how to do it). I would like to see more distinctive graphics in the UI, cleaner UI. Some icons are not very straightforward and it is not clear right away what they mean.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a high-level project schedule accessible to all project stakeholders. Maintaining internal company processes by creating templates that can be shared and reused by other team memebrs.
Life changer
What do you like best about the product?
I'm very organized, and I would constantly write things down, keep them organized, etc., so when I started working with Smartsheet, it allowed me to be even more organized. I can create sheets for my personal use, such as a list of tutorials I want to check out later, ideas I would like to design later on, and so forth. Smartsheet also allows me to connect in a more organized way with my co-workers, so we can all be up to date on one another's tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I can mention is that it can be a bit confusing at first. I hadn't worked with Smartsheet before, so I didn't know how to work with it at the beginning properly. So maybe I would recommend making it a bit more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our team be more organized and organize everything regarding our daily/monthly tasks. It also allows us to keep our monthly social media calendars in order and share these tasks with our client more efficiently and effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration capabilities of Smartsheet is great. I can limit a Smartsheet to small groups, or large ones with ease. I have a lot of control over a sheet's editing priveleges and am able to easily create and collect feedback via fill-in forms. Dashboards are great for creating a summarizing view of multiple sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Uploading data points from Excel are sometimes a little glitchy, but works most of the time. Some of the graphs being generated from reports could encounted some design deifficulties, perhaps more display options would be helpful.

Smartsheets allow us to collect information in a standardized method for third parties to use or implement with ease. The integration of kanban boards and reports being automatically generated is automating workflow.
Perfect tracking tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Smartsheet is to use. I can quickly set up a sheet and easily modify it later on without disrupting the data I've already gathered. It's very intuitive compared to programs like Excel. I also enjoy the automated functions and commenting system, they both increase efficiency for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that others had more ability to edit sheets like the columns or adding automation without needing a premium account. I would also like to be able to have comments carry over when copying a row.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows all my team members to see at a glance where a project is at and what steps are remaining. It also saves us a significant amount of time when relaying comments/approvals and ensures all this information is stored in one place rather than spread across programs (Teams, email etc).

It provides for automation and additional customization abilities to create efficient workflows and processes for the intra-team and cross-team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions or features that are quite intuitive when creating process are not available. Requires further customization and imrovement.

It simplifies the process within a team and cross-department collaboration. It further allows to have clear records of the materials and approvals.
Robust tool to work with
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is best tool to work on cloud and share inputs with your other peers directly. Everytime smartsheet comes with better automation and ideas. its best tool in market compared to other SAAS tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still a few limitations of 20000 rows in a single sheet. Few little bugs which need to be addressed. The development and testing team needs to take inputs directly from customers who are using smartsheet very extensively to clear bugs and make tools better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They did try to increase rows limit to 20000 per grid but sometimes that is insufficient. Sheet refresh time is bit longer as expectation from other tools.
Versatile, intuitive and great UI - makes PPM easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Great for collaboration, reporting and automation - sheets link seamlessly with forms and approval workflows to make project management tasks quicker and easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is so much you can do with Smartsheets, it's sometimes difficult to know where to start or how to maximise efficiency - however, the smartsheet learning site and webinars are very helpful in overcoming this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using Smartsheets, we would track projects on multiple spreadsheets saved in different places and would have to manually send these to the clients and keep checking for due dates. Now, all the sheets are linked together (action log links to budget tracker, project plan etc), the client has real-time access to see updates and actions, and when due dates are approaching, assignees are automatically notified and reminded to complete the work.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. I had used previously at a larger organisation and it quickly became our primary system for all our operational management and sales order tracking.

What do you dislike about the product?
This is tough as I am really a fan. Like any system there is a learning curve and I know that it offers serious capabilities, but currently we are not tapping into the full potential, whereas when you have access to a superuser or system specialist it could make life easier and more productive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use smartsheet for our client specific order management and also to collate and track progress and evidence for our workload and jobs. By creating a worklog webform, this has allowed us to realtime receive feedback and evidence from our technicians in the field and create the data for client reports.
