Best project management tracking tool and more
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and integration with most tools we use in the office
What do you dislike about the product?
None really except that some users start to think all systemetic problems can be resolved using smartsheets

We have processes that were manual which have now been incorporated on Smaerthseets, Order Fulfilment, procurement workflow for goods and services, payroll management

I like Smartsheet because it helps us manage our projects. We can keep an eye on many projects at the same time, work together as a team, and stay organized. Plus, we can customize it to highlight important tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
A potential area of improvement for Smartsheet is the mobile app interface. It's not as user-friendly as the desktop version, making it difficult to manage projects on the go.

Smart and Effective
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it saves me time when all I need to do is upload my tasks and it gets sent to my VA. I only use it for some simple processes, but the fact I can take that time out of my calendar is perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
It often takes a long time to load and I'm not too sure why that is.
I also struggle to understand the 'permissions' I'm giving people when they fill in the spreadsheet I created. Some people access it fine, while others need my permission and then it says I have exceeded my limit.

Its solving the problem of time.
It is super effective for me to upload documents and descriptions of tasks to me VA. It's allowing me to be more productive and efficient with my time.

Very Helpful for Staying Organized on Projects
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Smartsheet is the schedule feature. My team puts together a project timeline for each of our new projects, which allows us to keep track of everything that needs to get done and when it needs to get done. I love the feature that enables you to input a specific number of days and returns a date.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Smartsheet is that sometimes it takes a long time to set up a sheet that functions well; It can take a long time. I believe this could be resolved with more practice and tutorials. I also do not like how there is not a way to see the function inside of a cell without clicking into the cell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows my team to lay out everything that needs to get done on a project and assign each task to the responsible member of the team. It helps a lot with accountability and organization for myself and the other members of my team.

Smartsheet is highly, customizable, helping me manage projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders efficiently. Specifics include automating tasks like email and reminders, saving time and reducing mistakes. Last but not least, the dashboard feature keeps everyone informed and aligned with the organisation goals, promoting transparency and cross-unit/cross-team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations with functions that are readily available on Microsoft Excel, and should be pretty straightforward to implement on Smartsheet. Yes, there are feedback forms and support network that regularly review suggestions and feedback, however some of the submitted entries have not been actioned or updated as far back as 2018.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving my challenge of managing complex projects and data in a university setting, particularly when dealing with numerous grants from government bodies and industry partners.We use smartsheet as a centralized platform where we track all incoming "pre-pipeline" projects (projects at their earlieat development), as well as those that have moved into the "pipeline" (projects that have submitted proposals and pending outcome) stage.
This level of organization is essential in a research institute setting with over 300 researchers, as it allows for a comprehensive view of all projects at different stages. This early visibility helps our operations team allocate resources, and strategically fund the most promising projects, and boost your success rate in securing additional matched funding.

Workspaces and Access Permissions!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily create project workspaces with varying access permissions to folder structure, the ability to attach documentation to project plans and the workflow automation and ease of capturing status updates directly through an email interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have seen a few drawbacks compared to the more traditional tools, such as MS Project or Excel. One of the most significant drawbacks is the limitation of adding tabs to a workbook or sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to manage complex programs with multiple workstreams, organizations and stakeholders. Having the ability to create a workspace with varying access permissions is great. Smartsheet will enable me to manage workflow and project progression from a central location while providing access and visibility to the right audience. The automated workflows are also a great time saver, primarily since users can quickly provide updates directly through email.

I like to to organize daily tasks and todo lists. It is good for having projects and having multiple people able to report on their progress and to assign due dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is a little slow to load on older machine and it can be difficult to use on mobile, but i don't really use it on mobile very much so this is not a huge issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many people working on the same project who are not technical and we don't want them to have to use a project management tool and learn a bunch of new terminology.
Great Product, But Needs Some Updates
What do you like best about the product?
I like the functionality of SmartSheet. The way it helps me keep track of project milestones and team collaboration is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot have the parent line in a task be included in the email update request which is frustrating and means you always have to go back to the sheet and line to see what the task is associated with. I and other users have reported this issue to SmartSheet, but they have over and over again declined to take on the work to make this possible.

It is solving having to track dates in excel or Outlook
