What do you like best about the product?
I have been using smartsheet for the past 2 years and I am very glad that I can experience everything this has to offer.
Compared to the other tools that I've been using in my last job, this is the best quality platform to organize and structure your work.

I don't like that it sometimes gets glitched when sending some links over the email.

Excellent tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is excellent for managing and tracking all different projects. It's packed with
different features. You can create and manage tasks, set deadlines, assign team members, and track progress in real-time. The templates and integrations make it easy to get started, and the automation features save time and reduce errors once you know how to properly use them. Overall, Smartsheet is a must-have for efficient and organized project management. Highly recommended!

What do you dislike about the product?
From the start is a little bit difficult to understand, especially if you are not familiar with using Excel. The automation tools can be a little bit tricky to use as they might trigger notifications to all sheet members if these are not set up correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping the organization to improve planning and communication in many different departments. As a project manager, I believe that using smartsheet is very beneficial to the company as we have managed to keep track and manage efficiently different projects
A practical tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
How fast and responsive it is. It is also relatively easy to use and to share with the team and stakeholders. I can create multiple boards and with multiple styles
What do you dislike about the product?
Timelines that are under a group don't move together with its parent. Not sure if I'm not doing this right. Whichever the case, it should be easier to perform this task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to plan, organise and visualise tasks in hand, with the flexibility to change them in real-time. It also helps by being a single source of through when it comes to tasks assignment and deadlines.
I only use smartsheet for timelines and I haven't used any integrations
What do you like best about the product?
It looks professional, it is easy to do a gant chart, I like the dependencies, the grouping, how you can create a template to copy. There are probably more functions than a competitor but I am not aware of all of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides of Smartsheet is that is is not clear what the other functions are. How do you create a workspce? What does that mean? How can you simply add budget to the timeline or even per stage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping me with timesheets but it is not intergrated into anything else I am using. I am not sure if I am more productive because it is an isloated product in my user experience.

-When too much data is inserted in a sheet, there comes a lack of optimization that heavily lags the browser, which makes work hard to undergo.
-Sometimes sheets interconnected with formulas bugging out; as a viewer it is hard to repair certain columns before an admin hops in and helps.

Smartsheet is the most useful tool to manage and track collaborative work.
What do you like best about the product?
It serves as an excellent tool for effectively organizing projects, allocating resources, creating Gantt charts, and fostering team collaboration. With its intuitive features, Smartsheet enables teams to efficiently manage tasks and projects, streamlining workflow processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet becomes very slow when using a significant number of advanced capabilities such as conditional formatting, complex formulas (especially cross-sheet formulas), predecessors, or multiple inbound cell links.

What do you like best about the product?
Over the years, I've brought Smartsheet to several organizations I've worked with. It stands out as an internal collaboration tool, but it's also excellent for external sharing with partners, vendors, or suppliers.
As a seasoned product management leader, I find Smartsheet to be an invaluable asset. It offers a suite of versatile tools, from spreadsheets and project plans to Gantt charts and forms. They've continually improved over time, introducing a broad library of templates that expedite the process of getting started or spark inspiration for crafting unique solutions.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much that I dislike about it. Again, being a long time customer, they have done a really nice job listening to customer requests and adding new features/functions. The area that I find the weakest has been initial configuration of Smartsheet for an organization. I think that area can still use additional enhancements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our primary gain from Smartsheet is the enhancement of team communication and collaboration. The tool facilitates real-time project updates by allowing us to invite both internal and external members to view ongoing projects. It provides stakeholders with a firsthand view of the project's progress, eliminating the need for circulating worksheets or project plans via email. It's a significant time-saver and improves transparency across the board.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an incredible tool for tracking and project management. My favourite feature is the ability to set automated reminders straight to my email. This is very useful because it means I can set and forget.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I would like to see most from Smartsheet is the ability to add a new tab/page to my existing sheets. This would make tracking things a lot easier e.g. once a task has been completed, and I could move it to a different tab, so that I can still see what I've done without having to create a new sheet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the problem of having to manually track dates. If I didn't have smartsheets, I would have to export excel sheets and create filters to check dates each month. WIth smartsheets, I can have an automated reminder once a date is triggered.
One sheet to organize them all
What do you like best about the product?
Using smartsheet and its automation features the PMs (project mananagers) are more collaborative, and we have streamlined the process of updating data and have streamline many of the processes to save time. Each PM can have ther own project sheet and those project sheets feed into the Master sheet with dashboard for updating higher level managers.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although smartsheet is a very powerful sharing tool. The issues are really around sorting information. If you are not the owner of the sheet and just a user the sorting is not as easy as it should me. It is limited at best. It almost forces you to have to get a lincense but you are not developing a sheet. Easier for some on the team to use Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smart sheets solves the use of multiple people using the dame project sheet for manufacturing and Production control. This allows multiple team members arcoss the factory to use the same sheet and have the latest updates on information and priorities including status of projects with ship dates.

Has a lot of nice conditional formating with more additional filtering options with macos.

The filter/macros are required to have a certain level account. with our business account we have we still cant fully modify as we need

keeps our tasks and to-dos organized. we can upload files and comments and build off of them with indents and tabs
