Smartsheet on a daily basis
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about smartsheet is the quality of the folders and the fact that i can organize my projects more easly and also keep track of the billing .
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes i hate that it freezes and I have to wait a long time before it gets fixed .

Ability to share data seemlessly internal to my organization as well as external to others without compromising company data
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be steep. Setting a sheet up the wrong way to start can lead you to have major issues down the road in keeping things up to date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can keep track of multiple projects at once, Every project lead can see their specific project if I create a report for them. This makes it easier for them to drill down to just what they need.

Since I joined the company, I really liked using smartsheet.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the plans for smartsheet ar kind of expensive as you look forward to grow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping me improving my schedule and also, the most important thing, keeping track of the billing part of the organisation.
The Ability to Share the Impossible
What do you like best about the product?
I love how productive our multiple sites have become by being able to real-time share data. Not everyone is formula savy, but they can all understand sheets with conditional formatting and dashboards created.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of consistent account management or even a person that is easy to get in touch with is very frustrating. In the past year, I am pretty sure we've had 4 or more account managers. Adding a bit more care and personal touch to our account would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple locations around the world. This allows for us to share data in real time and the ability for anyone to complete needed information within the sheets.

What do you like best about the product?
It is so organized with Documentation for your files and Information in one place. You don't have to be all over the place. Everything is in one particular space.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can never be anything negative said about Smartsheet. It it a great help. The only thing I don't like about it is how you can't go in and delete information sometimes that is not needed.

Keeping our Reimbursements and RFP's for each Year established. We share with our Client Agency's in order for them to input there information and afterwards we can go in, check, and submit what is needed for our Programs.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful quality of Smartsheet is the ability for teams to quickly create solutions to manage and collaborate on work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet falls short when collaborating with large numbers of people, data, or complex processes without having to purchase very expensive add-on features.

Speed at gathering quality project data from teams. Ensuring data quality. Facilitating project management.
Using Smartsheet for organised team and task management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Smartsheet helps me stay organised and up to date. Being able to get these updates in real time allows me to make more informed decisions. The improved communication between departments is also a great bonus, as it has made our team much more collaborative than before. Automated processes and pre-set alerts allow us to focus on key tasks without wasting time on non-essential tasks. In addition, calendars make it easier to keep track of daily commitments, while still allowing us to control our own agenda at all times - which I find incredibly useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Smartsheet lacks the ability to let users save and reuse customisable template instructions in an efficient way. This lack of functionality makes compliance with required policies more difficult and time consuming, as it is often necessary to create individual policies as not all precedents may apply. It would be very useful if updated guidance could be more easily accessed within this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've found Smartsheet to be incredibly helpful in streamlining our internal documents, initiatives and data. I appreciate how quickly and easily it can keep us on track by automatically updating information as needed or sending out requests as required.
Smartsheet for Manufacturing
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to keep so many key components of our manufacturing process in 1 place. Beginning stages of tooling, production scheduling, previous customer specifications and production parameters, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downside is minor fixes that pertain to usability, automatic attachments and things like that. Part of it might just be my lack of knowledge.
I also don't know if it has now changed, but previously when I tried to receive support when I ran into an issue it was impossible to talk to a live person, everything sent me to chat forums. When I submitted a ticket it took days to get a response. Time is crucial in the manufacturing process so that was quite a delay.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves the largest "problem" of production scheduling and the order of events that follow within our production line. It allows us to create a streamlined process and have access to the majority of nexessary information within one system.
Excellent Gantt Chart Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about smartsheet is the ease at which you can create and edit gantt charts. Being a project manager for projects lasting mutliple years with many different components, this tool is essential and keeps everyone on schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally wish Smartsheet saved automatically like Google docs/sheets do. Other than that, it is pretty self explanatory and I have not noticed any major issues duirng my couple years of using this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems Smartsheet solve are helping to identify critical paths and deadlines for our project simply by inputting timelines and tying items together. This keeps everyone on track and on the same page as far as what and when things need to get done.

vlook up formula doesn't support in smartsheet.
