Intuitive UI, Needs More Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I found Smartsheet's intuitive usage from the user interface standpoint as particularly valuable, making it easy to handle. Additionally, the ability to see all company tasks in one place and generate comprehensive reports for over 800 sheets is incredibly useful, enhancing our accountability and execution.
What do you dislike about the product?

Secure and Simple Way to Manage Evaluations
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Smartsheet allows me to streamline evaluations for my students. With just a few clicks, I can send evaluation forms directly to their preceptors, and once completed, the responses come back to me privately. This not only saves time but also ensures confidentiality and efficiency in the process. It has truly made managing evaluations so much easier and more organized!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenges I experienced were with the initial setup. My contacts did not transfer over smoothly into the sheet, which required some extra time to correct. In addition, building the automated emails was a bit confusing at first, since it wasn’t entirely intuitive. Once everything was set up, though, the system worked well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has streamlined how I manage student evaluations with their clinical preceptors. Before, this process was time-consuming, difficult to track, and often lacked confidentiality. Now, I can send evaluations directly to preceptors, receive their responses privately, and keep everything organized in one place. This saves me time, reduces errors, and ensures both students and preceptors have a smooth, professional experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Worked well in helping us track jobs, there progress, and where mistakes were made. It also works well to track excess inventory to get rid of. Since using smartsheets we have been able to determine if the mistake came from purchasing, design, or the warehouse.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can think of is that everything is manually entered. I would love to figure out implementing a barcode system to use with smartsheets and our inventory
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us accureatly track jobs, with project managers, sales, and design all being constantly updated on the progress of the warehouse as well as the progress of materials that are on back order.
A Convenient Tool for Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Smartsheet to manage my work, and I find it very convenient. One feature I really like is the ability to attach files directly to the sheet, which makes sharing documents simple and organized. Another great feature is the automatic alert system – I can set it up to receive email notifications whenever someone updates information on the sheet, helping me keep track of changes in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t encountered any difficulties using Smartsheet, and it has made managing my tasks much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets allows you to automate and execute flawlessly within the workspace

Only thing I do dislike is the complexity of trying to make formulas. Some of the formulas I'm use to does not work.

It saves me time by automating my daily tasks
Very handy Tool but not very intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows us to facilitate and organize a lot of internal business processes. It is very handy. I love that it's cloud based and that the messages are never lost, they always come to my email as notifications. It gives a good sense of connection with other coworkers and control.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface instantly reminds you of Excel, which is great when you're new to Smartsheet. However, once you start working, you realize that what you know from Excel isn't helpful at all. Whatever you need is never easy or intuitive to find, and even Google isn't always helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organize and share projects data, business processes, it facilitates coworking. It's a great solution for remote work.
My Experience Using Smartsheet for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
What I love about Smartsheet is how incredibly flexible and easy it is to use. It’s a lifesaver for managing all of our different projects and tasks in one place. It has that familiar spreadsheet feel, which makes it easy to jump right in, but it's packed with powerful collaboration and customization features that a normal grid just can't match.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet is great overall, it can be a bit challenging to master. The basics are simple enough, but figuring out the more advanced tools can feel like a steep climb if you're not already used to this type of software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The one thing that constantly trips me up in Smartsheet is that I can't just add another tab. It feels so natural to want to separate different sets of data within the same project, but you're confined to just one page. For teams that live and breathe in multi-tab spreadsheets, this can be a really tough adjustment.
Smartsheet useful for project management - as long as you are willing to learn
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is hugely adaptable, similar to excel but much better connected for project management. It has been really helpful in managing our project and keeping us on track for our twice weekly project update meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
- It is not the easiest system to use and requires considerable training for non-project management staff, this has made it difficult to get the organisation to properly use it, for example guest users and those that don't use it regualry
- It has a lot of features but these are complex to master, I dont think I use it to its full capability. This is more difficult because the modular basis seems to put additional features, that would seem to improve ease of use, behind a paywall we cant justify paying for.

It has been really helpful to keep track key dates in our reporting schedule and keep us on track.
a tool that simplifies management
What do you like best about the product?
The graphics are absolutely simple and intuitive, the number of tools available can meet every need, tagging colleagues with automated notifications, the comments section, the ease of adding and removing columns in a specific sheet, the ease of producing reports, the ease of sharing them, and the ability to export in Excel. The simplicity of creating different fields with different data types.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find it very easy to make all my sheets communicate with my main database. Creating a Gantt chart, it is difficult to make it interact with a data collection sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to manage all incoming projects, I record them on Smartsheet and the initial activities to be performed on them are automatically highlighted. I also use it to manage my team's activities, I schedule them, plan, and keep track of everything. My team is responsible for filling out fields duly prepared to track project data, and each person is responsible for their activity calendar. Tagging colleagues when their intervention is needed regarding a certain issue by writing the request in the comments section is extremely convenient because it allows for tracking the request and the response. Attaching files directly in the comments section is very useful because everything remains well tracked.

What do you like best about the product?
The smartsheet live is very good which allows multiple users to impact a spreadsheet / workflow. As a new user it is very similar to other spreadsheets
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that for reporting and data analytics purposes Smartsheet should provide a more structured approach to ensure it is compatible with export into Excel to use for PowerBI. Smartsheet could be easier to use and be a user friendly spreadsheet resource.
