Never used smartsheet before, now I can't work without it
What do you like best about the product?
The system itself is very intuitive, I had very little training and managed to pick it up within no time at all, I have been to a smartsheet event in london which was amazing, incredibly informative and the energy was incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any thing that I would change

Tracking the status of incoming enquries and status of ongoing work

It is easy to use and understand. The features are numerous and this makes the workflow smooth
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface doesn't seem friendly even though it is. I would like it to be more interactive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The number of features helps the workflow online. All team members have access at the same time, we get notifications easily. At the same time, we can work with externals, use forms, update projects.

Ability to map projects out in advance and allowing the wider team to have access to view and follow
What do you dislike about the product?
Better control over the reminders - possibly set the interval/lead time of the reminder individually like you would on an outlook event - choose longer or shorter lead times as needed. a prompt to start a task and a reminder to finish it off nearer the dead line. Presently email inbox can become overwhelmed quite quickly with things that don't need reminders.
Reminders would also benefit with details of the parent task/sheet, with multiple projects active a generic task description "design assessment" for example could relate to any of the active projects as the reminder doesn't tell you the project title

Gives a platform to share the progress and tasks of multiple projects with the wider management team.

Easy to use and collaborate with others as access not restricted.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not as powerful as MS Project, and export function is not as seamless.

Instructiveness, forms, easily created reports across multiple sheets, and dashboard visuals. Multiple ways to display and transform data.

Very high skill threshold required. Can be very buggy at times, and needs many quality-of-life fixes to ease frustrations.

Analyzing and transforming data over various lengths of time. Requesting and tracking responses via forms.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that its a low barrier to entry to learn the platform and that the possibilities for integration are endless. We have connected our SmartSheets with Snowflake for use across our Operational and Service needs and its very easy and customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I have found! It is super easy to use and I havent run into any issues whatsoever.

Tracking our project work across the team, creating mapping files for business cases, allowing us to build mapping files that leaders across the org can access and change, taking the responsibility of managing them off of our team.

There's not a huge difference between smartsheet and Excel. Benefits are limited.

It’s easy to share with our team and management, so everyone stays aligned without endless email chains. The ability to link sheets and build dashboards gives us real-time visibility into project progress and bottlenecks Smartsheet is intuitive enough for team members to pick up quickly, yet powerful enough to handle complex engineering workflows. We use it for BOM tracking, van upfit timelines, and inventory control — and the Gantt charts keep our whole team aligned.
Implementation was smooth; we were able to set up sheets and automations without needing IT involvement. Customer support is responsive and provides clear solutions when we run into questions. Integrations with Google Drive and email notifications keep everyone informed and reduce missed tasks

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the learning curve for advanced formulas and automations can be steep, especially for new users. Dashboards could use more native widgets and visual customization. Also, the cost per user can add up quickly for larger teams

Smartsheet is a great tool for the office
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great tool that can be utilized in different work environments. I have personally have used it for forms, it is extremely easy to share a link and have all the data stored into an spreadsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though it has great features, it could be more user friendly. They do have several webinars that people can take advantage from but it is time consuming to figure out all the great feature it has until the user gets familiarized with it.

It helps me gather data for all my employee rounding.
