Smartsheet is useful for processes that require tracking and approval of multiple team members
What do you like best about the product?
That it helps me see ongoing requests on a project and the status gets updated immediately, I use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface I find it to be a little hard to use, it could be easier or more visually appealing. It could be easier to use and implement across organizations.

Formatting rules of the sheets are something difficult to get used to.

helps to keep information in a single environment, instead of being spread across different programs.
Functional and helpful for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Project management functions. The Grid view is clean and helpful for mapping out tasks and assigning them to peers. I appreciate that you can connect sharepoint files to rows while also allowing you grant external partners access to the sheets to assign work. The automations are useful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
the concept of a solution. Whenever i try to make a new sheet, it creates a new folder/solution which is confusing. I also don't like that. There's no clock functionality for calendaring, If a dashboard is public facing, we have limited insights on who is accessing the dashboard. There's no way to know if an email from an automation received a bounce back. There are so many tiers to Smartsheet and it's confusing on what we can and cannot use without paying more. Automations currently do not allow us to send out forms from our sheets.

Smartsheet has helped with creating consistent communications to peers by using automations.

I like that multiple people can work in the document at the same time, which makes collaboration much easier.

I do not have any dislikes. Smartsheet has been very convenient.

Smartsheet solves problems related to project organization, task tracking, and team collaboration. This benefits me by keeping projects on schedule, improving communication, and allowing everyone to work together in real time.
Flexible project tracking with room for UI improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a powerful tool for managing xfn project plans, especially when you need to track dependencies, assign ownership, and keep timelines visible across teams. I appreciate how customizable it is. The integrations (e.g., with Slack) also help keep things in sync.
What do you dislike about the product?
While powerful, the UI can feel dated and unintuitive at times. It’s not always clear how to implement more complex formulas or logic without diving into documentation or support.

Helping me keep track of projects between xfn teams.
Safe and Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet is secure while keeping things simple. Navigating to different areas is simple and quick. You can easily get back to the home page by clicking the home button. I also like the look and feel. It doesn't feel boring and plain. You can also adjust to different views to help things organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish switching from DataMesh to Dynamic view was easier. Including this in a tab next to the home button may be nice. This isn't a big deal since it only eliminates one extra click. Overall Smartsheet is secure and simple to use.

I have team members across different states. Smartsheet helps me to better collaborate on various projects with people not in the same office as me. Smartsheet keeps things simple and easy to use.
