Excellent tool to record and share data between teams.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to design a tool that allows one team to communicate information for others to act on. Then the have this actions communicated to the original team
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to view all the data fields in a concise manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to track and communicate the transportation needs of our customers and set action steps to satisfy these needs.
Pretty sold - there are other options but I like SmartSheet
What do you like best about the product?
I like the sharing functionality - when editing with other users I prefer using it over Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI still seems a little choppy - would like if longer fields could have mixed formatting like excel and image preview.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to user older school methods - this is definitely an iprovement
Effortless Project Management with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Smartsheet's ability to align project efforts seamlessly, allowing easy intake of projects and collection of pertinent information for teams. It's invaluable for project managers, offering simplified task assignment, a robust asset storage system, and real-time project status updates. The ease of setup and operation, even for less tech-savvy individuals, further enhances its appeal. Smartsheet also provides effective reporting, letting leadership track project statuses efficiently, which I find crucial. Overall, I find it to be an all-encompassing solution that meets all my project management needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike any function or feature of Smartsheet. I don't like that they switched the licensing costs but I suppose all businesses evolve and I am not in charge of software purchasing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to align efforts with intakes, manage project details, and easily access stored assets for curriculum development. It facilitates task assignment, project tracking, and status reporting, making it an all-encompassing solution for efficient project management.
Smartsheet is a great tool for cross-department collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
I have found it useful for project planning across departments. It helps you communicate task updates and deadlines. I like that I can customize for what I need and build it different ways for different projects. I have found the functionality to share similar features to excel which helped me learned to use it quicker. I also like that you can tag people and it send them an email.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be challenging at first if you're new to the platform. If you discover there is a steep learning curve, you may need to watch videos to become proficient. The number of features can be a bit overwhelming but if you learn some features over time you can really get the most out of all that it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping my company manage projects and gives detail on the task priority, description, task owner, deadline etc. It's a great resource to reference what tasks are your responsibility and offers a place to give status updates.
Works Well for Team members who work offsite
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use for offsite team members who can stay on top of project changes and up to date with new documents since it is really easy to upload new versions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Receiving too many emails each day instead of a summary at days end of all activities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us maintain up to date versions of a customer's project without constant email or phone requests for forwarding information.
Smartsheet: My Go-To for Complex Projects
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is how flexible it is for complex processes. I can build dashboards, automate approvals, and manage large sets of data without needing advanced coding skills. It’s easy to customize for different teams, and I love that I can keep everything—from project timelines to executive-level reporting—in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet isn’t always as flexible as I’d like. For example, dashboards don’t carry themes across workspaces, so I have to rebuild formatting. Visualizations can get cluttered with large data sets, and integrations like Power BI don’t always update as smoothly as I’d expect. It works well for many things, but there are still limitations that make some tasks harder than they should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us manage complex processes that used to be scattered across emails and spreadsheets. It centralizes large amounts of data, makes approvals more transparent, and allows me to build dashboards that give leadership clear visibility. Automations cut down on manual follow-ups, and having everything in one place saves time and reduces errors. The biggest benefit is that it keeps projects moving forward smoothly while giving us reliable data to make decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Smartsheet because it is very user-friendly and easy to use. The setup was straightforward, especially for someone with experience in Excel. I appreciate its functionality, like creating Gantt charts, which provide a clear timeline of projects. The ability to customize columns for dates or numerals is very useful. I love how I can share information easily with team members, giving them visibility into what I'm working on. It's also beneficial as a repository for storing and sharing information. Overall, Smartsheet's ease of use and flexibility have spoiled me, and I can't imagine switching to a less user-friendly tool.

Very sufficient,easy to navigate and when assisting clients, the sheets are not buffering or lagging

the access is effortless and the content and set up to navigate the sheet is easy for my day to day tasks. we often use sheets to schedule our daily tasks
