What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers dashboards & reporting features that let project managers and stakeholders see project progress, resource utilization, budget status etc., often in near-real-time. This supports better oversight and early detection of issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times when my internet connection is unstable, certain features fail to function as they should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet offers a variety of pre-built templates and blueprint sets, which help speed up the process of launching typical projects or workflows.
Great for Beginners, But Setup Needs Work
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Smartsheet's ability to seamlessly integrate portfolio, program, and project management into a single, easy-to-use platform. Its collaborative features simplify work management across functional teams, making it accessible for users to build, understand, and adopt solutions quickly. The platform's real-time collaboration and diverse workflow capabilities, including various views like Kanban and timeline, significantly enhance usability and adaptability for different working styles.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the initial setup of Smartsheet to be confusing, which led to a mismatched implementation that wasn’t aligned with our needs. Despite having implementation support, we had to reengineer and redesign everything after three months due to a lack of understanding of the platform's capabilities and limitations. Moreover, I would like to see the introduction of a data model for portfolio, program, and project management that automatically links sheets with primary and foreign keys for seamless automation and reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet provides a foundational platform for program portfolio management and fosters easy-to-adopt work management across teams, enhancing capability from zero to one or two, and supporting collaboration and solution building.
Smartsheet keeps me and my team on track with one tool.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing is the "Set a Reminder" tool on our summary sheets so that I get automatic emails when I set them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to search the comments in the conversations box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking where I am at in a project as well as keeping other project managers on tasks and being able to set reminders for ourselves.

What do you like best about the product?
Its automation features and collaborative tools have significantly reduced our manual processes, and the ability to customize dashboards for different stakeholders makes communication much more efficient
What do you dislike about the product?
collaborating with external users can be tricky unless they have paid accounts, which limits flexibility in some projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps keep items on track and organized as well as let the other company that I am working with know where I am at.
Smartsheet saves me time and facilitates communication
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the versatility of Smartsheet. It allows me to collect applications, share them for review, create dashboards that improve communication within our unit, and manage all the different aspects of my grant in a single platform.I find it easy to get started and love the extras it is able to perform so much more than just spreadsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the university does not cover have more academic use examples and applications. I would like to have more specifics related to grant management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me time and allows me to share near realtime information with people that need that information.

First of all, smartsheet is very large and neat. You have all the options which are required for businesses to work smoothly.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is no such thing as 100% perfect, so I think there always be some GAP or space for improvement.
The file gets downloaded after clicking. It should allow us to preview the document and not get download directly.

It is helping me and my team to organise the tasks and streamline projects.
Okay, but took away some tools that made things easier
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can look thorough all of our sheets by searching, and can find LOT numbers, article numbers, and find it quickly. I love that our whole team can access all the files, and more than one person can make adjustments or additions to the sheets and everyone can see the updates in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things that was taken away was the always open search bar. Something that I used every single day, extensively. It now adds significant time to my work that I have to click the looking glass emoticon on the right side of the screen to get the search bar open. Also, when I do search within the same Smartsheet, the Smartsheet then brings me to what I requested, but doesn't keep my place on the actual smart sheet. My company uses Smartsheet extensively, and me after looking up what I needed to has to scroll all the way back to get the data I needed. These updates have made your software less useful and more time consuming. Let alone the ease of use has become less and less.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our office manager and our sales associate are trying and testing out more features to see what clicks best with our business and what additional features we can add to make our work day more seamless.
Good platform for collobration
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use an input form to populate a spreadsheet & have controls on who can make changes to a variety of cells/columns.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is less user friendly in for formatting than other similar products for filters, searching and formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing different teams to work on the same item and collaborate better without duplication of work. Allows for tracking and approvals prior to moving on in the process.

I like how easy it is to organize projects and track progress in real time. It keeps everyone on the same page and helps manage tasks efficiently.

It helps keep projects organized, tracks deadlines, and improves team collaboration. It makes it easier to manage workflows and see progress in one place.
Easy to implement and exchange over entire organization
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is fantastic at being able to complex items like request trackers and makes it easy for company wide access and utilization. It's easy to see the entire workload of teams and requestors and manage teams through smartsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's simple interface is ideal for most items, but as dashboards and requests increase in scope, the ease of use diminishes and overly complex items can be extremely difficult to build out in Smartsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With an analytics team that has to support the reporting needs, ad-hoc and general questions of an entire organization, Smartsheets has been very instrumental in making easy ways to monitor workflows, efforts of the teams, scales and scopes of requests and prioritize the teams work.
