Enhances Communication, Needs Interface Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I find the shareability feature of Smartsheet incredibly useful, making it easy to communicate and receive real-time updates as people work on tasks. It effectively solves communication issues, especially with shared workspaces, helping us quickly resolve any miscommunication that might occur over email.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find some aspects of the Smartsheet interface to be clunky and difficult to interact with. Additionally, there's an issue with the system where users might forget to save their changes on worksheets, leading to potential errors in data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to streamline sharing information and communicating with customers, preventing email miscommunications, and receiving real-time updates, which enhances our workflow.
Practical and versatile work tool
What do you like best about the product?
The creation of workspaces and the establishment of links between the workspace and the worksheets are done very easily. This tool is really powerful, and we still have many features to explore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I started using this tool, it initially offered free licenses, albeit limited, but still functional. Now, this option is no longer available and one is encouraged to subscribe to a paid license. Regarding the features of Smartsheet, I find that creating filters is not as intuitive as on an Excel file. Moreover, the dashboards are not interconnected, or their connection is complicated to set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The robustness of the links between the files (sheets) is really efficient and reliable. Moreover, the file search function proves to be very effective.
Intuitive and Robust, But Needs Bug Fixes
What do you like best about the product?
I find Smartsheet incredibly easy to use and share, and it helps me stay organized with action items, project plans, calendars, and risk logs all in one workspace. I appreciate the comment and dependency features, and the ability to tag people in specific rows. Smartsheet's simplicity and robustness make it a valuable tool for my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the copy and paste features are kind of buggy. And I don't like that you can't hide rows.

I find Smartsheet helps me stay organized with logs for action items, project plans, team calendars, and risk logs all in one workspace. It’s easy to use, share, and track things internally.
Great Step in the Right Direction for Spreadsheets

The most valuable feature is being able to use the information across various dashboards. This makes implementation much more effective.

Sometimes, transferring information into maps or other applications can be challenging.

Its helping me take equipment requests and put it into data for end of year purchasing decisions

Pricing is on the higher end compared to other CRMs.

Good for team collaboration, kanban style workflow for software development
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy it is to collaborate with my team members using Smartsheet. We've relied on it extensively for our software development projects, and I find it to be an excellent alternative to other platforms such as Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find most frustrating about smartsheet is the need to manually save any changes as you work. There have been times when I lost data I had entered simply because I forgot to click save before switching between different views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool makes it easy to quickly create and update task boards, as well as share progress across the company. By integrating many features into a single, user-friendly platform, it significantly reduces the effort needed compared to using separate tools. In the past, I have used Jira and other Atlassian products, which I found to be quite cumbersome and time-consuming to learn and set up for effective work.
