Great Product for Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like Smartsheet because it's collaborative!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that an "owner" for a Smartsheet has to be the company and can't be an individual. This has created issues of prompting request for access going to people who are not supposed to be making those approvals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making tracking processes and projects much easier.
Work Management and Tracking across a variety of Processes
What do you like best about the product?
I like the implementation ability to build tracking and processes to provide an ease of use and avoid duplication of work. Smartsheet is our go-to software that allows flexibility to modify the processes as changes and adjustments need to occur.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few specific options I wish existed today - however smartsheet is always updating and integrating new abilities and formulas to allow adaptability to our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize the control center to set templates for each new project as they need to be provisioned. Having consistency in format allows all who use or interact with the sheets to understand the data without explanation.
Ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
Love the real-time updates and reminders we're able to set on the sheet.

There are no formulas or invoicing tools

Not sure what problems are currently being solved.
Seamless Tracking and Documentation for Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automation features. This allows me to kick off tasks to users within a project timeline. It creates efficiencies and allows for proper documentation of sign-offs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet doesn't seem very user-friendly when it comes to using formulas.

Smartsheet allows me to link various tracking documents to one cohesive dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to go deep into the details and tasks necessary to oversee a project from inception through completion, but also allows me to see it from a higher level, bird's eye view.

I don't have any downsides for my work needs

It allows me to project plan at an individual level but also provides an overview of the full business need
Smartsheet - an easy way to get organized and execute
What do you like best about the product?
It's most helpful to be able to easily organize, categorize, and assign tasks. In one sheet, I can see and understand the whole flow of the project and how resources need to be aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
It works more like Microsoft Project than a to do list manager. I find myself still using another program to organize information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of being organized over the next 12 months with multiple different teams and projects.

Smartsheet Feedback Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like Smartsheet as it helps me manage our department's IT projects and portfolios daily. It has a very nice dashboard that I can customize and create filters and reports. Smartsheet's customer support is also very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet is great with portfolio management, it is difficult to manage deliverables and tasks at a micro level. For this, we have a separate task tracking tool.

Managing project portfolio at a high level status
We use SS to mange our client campaigns and the studio delivery of them.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, it's pretty intuitive, and the sharing function is great to keep things in one place.
We use it all the time on a daily basis so being quick to access is also a positive.
There are so many features that we don't use it would be good to try and branch out more to see what is viable.

We work with a lot of clients out side of the business and it's not always easy for them to access it when shared.
Although you can download as an excel to simplify, unless you are familiar with the platform it's not always easy for outsiders to understand.

It is enabeling us to plan and scope our projects, to hit deadlines and to manage the workflow in the studio delivery team.
