Smartsheets is a great service that has greatly streamlined our processes.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create different sheets that automatically move when dates are added is very helpful. I also like the notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were better ways to input formulas
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notification to various workers when work has been assigned to them. I don't have to send separate emails to each worker.

I like how it is collaborative and that you can attach files to rows in the sheet

I find it difficult to navigate at times and feel like there could be more readily available tips on using the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The system is super flexible and intuitive. Our agency has implemented a number of systems into our day-to-day operations such as status sheets, timelines, bandwidth reports, estimates, etc. It is now an integral part of our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
My ONLY flag is that I wish there was a larger maximum for row(s). While infrequent, I sometimes have to split up large data pulls when uploading Excel into Smartsheet. Again, the maximum is pretty generous but it happens every now and again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps standardize a number of internal ways of working. It also has helped to standardize CLIENT facing status sheets. It's a integral part of our business dealings.

I love all the different projects I can create.

It's hard to navigate as a new user but once you figure it out, it's fine.

Documentation available across many teams and customers

Using Automation for reminders and the conditional formatting for easy visual checks

Creating mathematical formulas can be tricky, but I do not have a lot of experience with this function.

The ability to organize and share documents with a large team. Not to mention the features at are included.

I wish the software allowed for additional customization

Access to the platform. For a company with employees worldwide, often traveling, access to the platform with security is key.

I like how you have multiple teams connect to different sheets, reports, and workspaces smoothly with automated updates.

Sometimes the automations get stuck or are confusing to create which effects workflows.

I helps solve workflow communication and automations for our projects.

The app makes it easy for me to make quick updates to the job while I am in the field.

There are some infrequent problems with SS not allowing access to jobs. Usually it is corrected very quickly.

The app makes it easy to make corrections to building statuses and deliver schedule dates.

- Ability to keep things simple like Excel
- Stong Integerations; both purchased connectors and build via API
- forms are easy and helpful
- Reporting is great as well but we are still building it

- many people don't see it beyond excel

Giving us overview of our protfolio; ability for leadership to see simple view and yet track the projects; both internally and externally
Very useful, but does take some training
What do you like best about the product?
It's ability to take a lot of info and display it in a number of different ways....and being able to organize responses to a survey/email is so helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does require a bit of training and it does have some limitations...limits on different uses for the same column and with merging of cells...

decreases the number of sheets I have to cross reference to pull off an event.
