Very happy with Smartsheet.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to share sheets easily and adding users to view and share to my discretion

As of now, I don't have any complaints with this app.

We created a universal timesheet and job list shared throughout the company
Smartsheet is integral in our daily processes.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is our main tool we used to collate date for our leads every day and it is easy to use and manageable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times that there are delays on the update but not all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a lead generation team, it is the tool we used to collate the data and so we can set up the appointment set day per day by managing the data accordingly.
SmartSheet Is A Great Budget Builder for our Non-Profit
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is user friendly and easily shared amongst our Partners in the Building Industry
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could have all the options I need without paying more to add these. I also don't like that I can't copy and paste from other programs into Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of having a running list of items to be completed amongst multiple companies and keeping a budget of the numbers from beginning Bid's, invoices received and paid, amounts donated, final numbers and totals.
There are many Partners in the process so having everything organized and updated as we go; having the Partners able to add and make changes; knowing when something is changed on the budget (notifications) and the ability to attach files (invoices and notes) on each line, makes meetings and progress so much easier!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to automate and customize exactly what you need. Gathering information in one place for easy review has saved me so much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not believe the site has many downsides as it has an extremely quick learning curve as it is a very user friendly and intuitive platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all information centralized in one location where multiple people can update and review at one time. Sends email notifications for reminders as well.
Smartsheet Review and Benefits
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to share amongst colleagues and clients to assist in collaboration and efficiency. The system as a whole is very easy to use and easy to incorporate for any project. When there may be an issue the support team is quick to assist. As our company continues to grow, the usage will increase throughout our teams. We are able to integrate smartsheets with our job photos, making it an essential hub for all of our large projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could share a selected amount of the sheet with individuals outside of an organization rather than an entire sheet. We use Smartsheet's to compile information for property owners and when allowing to view they are sometimes able to view other units or property. If we can share individual rows or selected sections, we could combat this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparent milestones and tracking throughout the lifecycle of our projects.
Smartsheet helps streamline project management for teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easily you can link projects together and use those links to manage macro budgets. It was relatively easy to implement on our team with the Smartsheet team scheduling a couple calls with us to walk us through how to link everything together. I used to be an MS Projects user and now I use Smartsheet every day. After the initial learning curve, I'm now bought in.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration team handed us off to a couple different people before we got a useful session with the right person. It wasted an hour or so of everyone's time on our team but once we got the right person, we got everything straightened out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordinating schedules and everyone on my team is now able to see the most up to date version without emailing it out every week.
Smartsheet experience
What do you like best about the product?
I have really enjoyed using smartsheets over the past 2 years. It's been a comprehensive way to link various sheets together to ensure that data is showing correctly in multiple places instead of having to remember to update multiple spreadsheets. I love using the dashboards as a place to easily see information from multiple sheets. The built in logic on the survey forms is also a neat feature that I've enjoyed learning how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I don't love about smartsheets is that it's fairly complicated and takes a little while to learn how to use. Sometimes the look of the sheets feels overwhelming to me as sheets can get very long, and the task lists can be long. The use of the right click isnt really there, and generally its less intuitive than excel or Google. You also have to save your work which at times I have forgotten to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me to link multiple sheets together and it's been an amazing too for our team to track invoices and data.

sometimes tutorials are not very easy to find when i get stuck on something that i do not know.

Smartsheet helps to have a good follow-up on all projects (completed, ongoing)
Great Program
What do you like best about the product?
User Friendly layout. The program is easy to use once you learn it. We use it every day!

Sometimes it can be hard to understand the full capabilities of the program

Smartsheet allows us to manage our daily delivery schedule, our Employee time off, and several other aspects.
Terrible Revised Subscription Plan
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create action item lists that do not only include action and responsibility. Most things on an action item list consist of several steps and communication. SmartSheet allows all that information to be placed on a single row in an action item list. Unlike an internal document, being web-based means that anyone with permission can access the sheets at any time.
This is entirely nullified by the new subscription scheme.

What do you dislike about the product?
This year, SmartSheet forced all its customers into a new payment scheme that is entirely unworkable for small businesses. Originally SmartSheet required that you only purchase 6 licenses and then could have as many unlicensed users as you need. Only licensed users could build sheets while unlicensed users could only edit at most. This was acceptable because you don't need a lot of people making new sheets but you need everyone to have access.
As of this year, SmartSheet forced all of its new and legacy customers into a new subscription plan whose express purpose, it seems, was to boost revenue from every customer by a minimum of 15%. In the new model, all users must be licensed in order to have editing access to the sheets. So now we have to pay for 20 licenses instead of 6. Their solution to complaints about how ridiculous that is was to create an extremely complicated and time consuming administrative system where you have to move licenses around or temporarily add/ remove licenses from month to month which changes how much you pay. It's entirely unworkable unless you have an employee dedicated to just managing SmartSheet. It is now a truly unworkable system.
Rather than address my grievances directly, when I brought these complaints to my representative, he replied with nonsensical AI responses. His real responses were curt and unsympathetic.
