Highly Customizable and easy to use Project Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
For me it is easy to use. I came from using Excel and other platforms and was worried if I could learn a new platform. But, Smartsheet has made it easy to learn and adapt.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have a downside as my use of smarsheet is basic for AR trackers, schedule etc. but sometime I do get lost in a lot of symbols on the side bars. I feel work screen gets crowded with all the options. May be there is an option to hide these that I am not aware but it is distracting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we were delaing with was a collaborative platform where multiple cross functional team (Internal and External) can work together. Smartsheet has made it is easier for us to manage and track progress of opens and tasks quickly. Additionally, it's ability to be able to send notification makes it a great platform.
Smartsheets Great Tool once you set it up
What do you like best about the product?
Even when the front-end configuration of the Sheet you want to use takes time and a learning curve, probably more so than a regular spreadsheet or MS Project; once you set it correctly it is the easiest thing to maintain, share and have people collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is not the most intuitive when it comes to setting it up, or more options for templates would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is structured and controlled, versus using a Spreadsheet that can go off rails really easy. Also reporting out of it makes it friendly and my preferred choice.
Smartsheet Logs for Construction Services
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows the team to work together on the same file, in real time. For us, it helps to track any construction projects we have as a company, department, and much more. It allows the team to visualize the current completion of each, if the projects were billed, etc. Moreover, the ability to attach documentation about each project to the sheet blows the former log we used in Excel out of the water.
When there are questions that arise or any issues with user error, the customer support team does give their best efforts to provide a solution.
Smartsheet is used daily within our company and many who have former experience in Excel, find this easier to use.

There really is minimal compaints about the use of Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows multiple users to update and make changes to the sheet, giving real time guidance on project status.
Great software
What do you like best about the product?
I like using smartsheets and the different settings that it to help you visualise your timings. This helps me as being dyslexic sometimes I find large blocks of text hard to digest, so the various styles to see it are a good feature.
Easy to use and get the hang of one you know how - I use it every day for work. It's easy to implement across projects and integrates well with templates etc. I've never had any issues and haven't needed to speak to customer support or anything so that's good!

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it difficult to format my sheets, like making sub sections with indents can be a bit clunky sometimes. I think this could be improved as it's quite time consuming when it's not going to plan and can be a faff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharable timelines that can be linked out externally to clients is helpful. It's good because they can view this in real time so everyone's on the same page, it also avoids any back and forth or potentially issues if they're looking at outdated versions etc etc
Best solution for hastle free communication
What do you like best about the product?
I like the creation of work flow with the rules which includes auto emailers and notifications to others associated

Some features like slicers are not available but i expect the team is working on its new features

A perfect to manage your MS excel and MS project related stuff in a combined manner.
What do you like best about the product?
Workflow Automation is the best feature smartsheet is having right now, any user can simply write queries without any knowldge of coding.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitation of rows and complex process for integration with other application is major downside.

Collabration with multiple files and workflows for data update using reports and simplified dashboards.

What do you like best about the product?
it is very intuitive and easy to use, the help pages are good and there is person to person help available if needed

it is sometimes difficult to find sheets you have created when you first use it

it enables me to create sheets that everyone can interact with using simple forms that automatically fill in the spread sheet to track information, it also enables collaboration on drawings and documents

It's user friendly, fast, simple and intuitive

Maybe that it feels a bit old aesthetically

It helps my team have a clear sense of our workload, quickly see who's doing what, keep track of our pipeline and easily input data regarding our projects.

Communication beween team, having the data centralized, haing Hippa-compliant data, the ability to do somany things in one platform.

There are too many paid plugins and upgrades that is required to use the product in an enterprise environment.
