I love it but there have been a lot of changes that I do not like

That you can add pictures to each tab and it looks organized

Robust Tool for Cloud-Based Sheet/Form Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Smartsheet allows users to create forms that speak directly to the sheets themselves. This makes it easy to gather and interpret data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to see when a form is submitted, there are customizable elements that feel missing when creating sheets, and manual saving is often required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows for easy collaborating and sheet sharing. We use it to manage the full life cycle of projects - from requests, to approvals, to completion. We also keep our clothing and swag inventory recorded with Smartsheet - this allows us to track items easily.
Smartsheet has been very valuable for marketing
What do you like best about the product?
The automation, reporting and dashboards are incredibly valuable for our marketing operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The folder structure within Smartsheet is not helpful. There are too many options for where to save sheets, so it's hard to find them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of team members not properly tracking their workload and deadlines, so it's benefitting the department in that critical deadlines are being managed. It is also solving the problem of me not having an easy way to see how many projects we have at any given point in time and generate a report for upper management. Smartsheet allows me to visualize the various projects on a dashboard and they can easily be categorized. I can also easily create a report at the end of the year to show executive leadership the volume of work my team is doing and the impact it has had.
Excellent platform for businesses, highly recommend.

Great features, easy to use, customer support is fantastic. It helps our company run much more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any, really. If I do, I will let you know.

Organization, communication within the team, tracking within the company.
Manage Projects and Tasks all in one location
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage all tasks and projects in one location anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards can be complex to build and not exactly the most user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to have everything visible and controlled in one location.
Large learning curve, but powerful tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is flexible and able to be customized so minutely. If you can think of something you want automated or connected across sheets and reports and portfolios you can most likely do it. You get so many options to move forward and great workable templates/
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can feel large to the average user. Smartsheets almost has its own language when you first get started that you have to understand and requires constant tutorials or googling to find what you might need. Once you get it down it gets much more straightforward. I also dislike that some of the best automation tools are behind expensive paywalls like Control Center.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing us to create a project management system that not only communicates automatically through each step but also encompasses every aspect of a project that we handle from conception to archiving. Structurally we are building a large system that only needs to be toggled in a few ways to communicate across our staff and eventually to our clients as well.
Good sales pitches but not great at follow through
What do you like best about the product?
when it works properly, it is a great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sales team only looks at upselling and doesn't care about customer requirements. Don't follow their own best practice model and high turn over of account managers. The solution is always to sell more to fix the problem which never gets fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far it's not solving anything because it is not fit for purpose due to a poor implementation
Smartsheet Platform Review
What do you like best about the product?
I am fairly new to using Smartsheet but this platform is a game changer in the work field. I have enjoyed using Smartsheet to create departmental forms as well as creating a Dashboard that is an essential tool for both Faculty and Staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have no dislikes with the Smartsheet platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is aiding us in streamlining the way we handle procurement requests within our department centralizing all data in one area. This also provides a much easier way to submit requests such as purchases, leave requests and large purchase orders for goods and services.
Smartsheet is very intuitive

Smartsheet is very intuitive. I like the Gantt view

It can be tedious to setup if you have a big project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us manage a project with external vendors.

Ability to create easy forms for end users to enter defects during projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's tough to call out a negative. I would say that there aren't enough end users who are fluent in it on my side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best benefit of SmartSheet is that it allows us to provide access to Project Management tasks, needs, workflows to outside consultants and vendors without having to give them internal credentials.
