Great Tool for quick , convenient and detailed Gantt chart schedules.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, and publishes an easy to read schedule. also easy to implement in any small to medium size organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
so far, for what we use this tool for, it check marks all the boxes. Have not found anything to dislike Yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our organization create schedules for each project with timelines, deadlines and status. We are able to share these documents with our clients conveniently.
SmartSheets for capacity planning
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheets is easy to use and is good for project management related needs. It has provided the team with a consolidated view of all the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
We still have trouble figuring out the capacity of team members in a given week. The capacity view shows all team members at over 120% at all time because of the start date and end date of the projects.

It helps with a consolidated view of the work

What do you like best about the product?
Anyone can jump right in with mimimal time and produce rich sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything that I would say I dislike. I do wish there was a way to create one shared folder and create workspace to drop in that folder rather than sharing out workspaces one by one

Easy of use. My team can spend just a few moments updating the status of our prjects.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a very convenient and simple system that allows you to unite teams, use automation and logic. without using large ERP systems!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found it yet, everything works fine
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordination of people's work, creation of a project plan, construction of a Gantt chart, maintenance of registers.
Great workflow tool for a multitude of use cases
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to create automations and the ability to approve/reject on email without logging in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seemingly very difficult to edit the names of users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to log all invoices and credit notes in one central repository and it enables us to keep track of approvals. It also allows us to analyse data to give us insights into the causes of credit notes and erroneous billing.
Made my life easier
What do you like best about the product?
Love being able to share spreadsheets with others and make realtime changes. Also cool to see a spreadsheet's activity log.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Windows program seems a bit slow. Especially to log on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When using Excel, it can be difficult to keep a file updated, with maybe several versions of the file. This is not a problem with SS.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to link different worksheets to update naturally without having to manually add in updates. It's very easy to use and easy to train. Customer support when needed is also helpful. I use Smartsheet every day. I rely on it to do my day to day tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Smartsheet will go down in the middle of a workday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is currently not a problem I am running into with Smartsheet. I feel as though everything I use Smarsheet for has been seamless.
Good but limited capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
It's a simpler version of excel great for people who aren't as versed with excel or who don't need all of it's computing capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Each Smartsheet has a limit on columns and rows and this doesn't work when you are trying to process large amounts of data. It also doesn't have all the same computing capabilities that excel has. It also doesn't autosave as you go which has been killer with computer crashes and losing work done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet for tracking cyclical data as well as financial numbers. It keeps it all in once place and let's us analyze data over time and see what upcoming items need dealing with. It provides a central place for a lot of data.

What do you like best about the product?
I like a lot of the automation features and the ability to filter out data in report view. being able to have multiple people working on the same document is nice but see the dislike section for my biggest struggle.
What do you dislike about the product?
if multiple people are in the same sheet at the same time, if you don't see the refresh prompt pop up - the changes you made can get reversed if you aren't all working in the most up to date version. It would be helpful if it live updated like documents on sharepoint.
when linking folders to reports, new sheets added into a linked folder don't auto add to the report and you have to manually add them in
I wish you could pick and choose what columns on a sheet you want to automatically copy rows onto another sheet. IE: having an intake form that feeds into a different sheet, but not having to bring over every single column of info.
