SmartSheet is awesome. Great tool for businesses.
What do you like best about the product?
Versatility of use, lots of features, easy to use. It has everything we need to help support and progress out company. The customer support is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the templates are difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet has helped our business with scheduling - we are much more efficient at creating and tracking our project schedule. We also use SmartSheet to take meeting minutes with clients which has been super easy to record and look back on. It has helped with communication within our business.
Embedded Lists are Key
What do you like best about the product?
I love the embedded lists, that I can have a dropdown within a dropdown. For my work, architecture, we are creating detailed plan sets that have many subcategories. This is the entire reason I use smartsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that I am not fully understanding the other capabilities of the software and I am not utilizing it completely. It is a great task list for now and that's about it. But i know there can be more. I just need to learn.

Excellent task list, organizable and unlimited subcategories.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate and set up/receive notifications makes our tasks a "set it and forget it" process.
What do you dislike about the product?
With lots of columns, it's cumbersome to scroll left/right. Additionally, the look of Smartsheet could be a little sexier (i.e. think "Apple").
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The multiple views are helpful because collaborators have different styles of absorbing info. For example, the same sheet can be used for me (communications manager) to map out our comms strategy and be show in calendar format to the leadership team. I can easily report on status and timing for them, while managing the project details for me.

What do you like best about the product?
The dynamics and simplicity. The number of features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Maybe make the organization task bar on left side easier to use.

Dealines and organization.

I'm trying to have all PM's use this platform, so we all think somewhat the same.
Helping create workflows between partners
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can create a ticketing system with clients and develop workflows to inform the correct people and enable better progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automations are trickier to determine than others. The dashboards could also use some love.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is creating a better ticketing workflow than email and allows visibility for both client and vendor.
Smartsheet keeps everything you need all in one place
What do you like best about the product?
I really love that I can set up reminders to get emails when I need to do something. I also like the feature that allows you to tag others in your organization and put notes on the Smartsheet. Overall, I really like being able to have all of the information that I need all in one screen and I can put an endless number of notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have ran into some instances where a row is indented and I cannot get it back to the standard setting. There is little to dislike when it is mostly customizable to my liking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with organizing all of my information neatly in one place that I can easily access. Smartsheet also helps keep me on task because I can set reminders to get an email when I need to do something.

It has all of our information and reporting in one shared space. Everything is very easy to access

I wish it was more customizable for the basic user

Bringing all of our projects to one space. Easy for the team to go in and update when needed. Easy to access reports and needed information

Survey, questionnaire options linking directly to sheet.

Tool could use better data visualiztion options.

Large group survey results (training). Views of project work via Kanban boards.
Excellent team collaboration tool for complex projects!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how every team member can edit project tasks on their own. Other project management software tools are not as flexible. I also like how easy it is to import an existing project Gantt chart from MS Project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the system default to send emails to team members (especially when added to tasks). The team members often get bombarded with too many emails. Example is when a schedule is created, and someone owns say 30 tasks. That person gets 30 emails by default (if not turned off).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project collaboration. All team members are able to make status updates to project tasks in real time.
