What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows us to organize all of our data in a practical, user-friendly manner. It gives us the ability to setup sheets & reports to organize and present data in the way that works best for us. It also provides all kinds of tools and features (bells & whistles) that allow for automated processes, and keep our team focused on the right information at the right time. It is easy to integrate with current processes, and takes very little time to implement. Customer service is excellent and they are always updating and improving their product.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many downsides to Smartsheet, but there are a few minor issues that we currently just work around. I dislike the fact that you cannot overwrite a formula while you are in a report. I also dislike the fact that you cannot freeze the first column in a published report, or in a sheet you are viewing on the mobile app. These are minor annoyances, and do not have a huge impact on our overall use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Smartsheet to track and manage all of the processes & tasks that are required in the construction of residential houses. Our company builds around 50 houses per year, and we have built a schedule in Smartsheet that is shared with all of our subcontractors, trade partners, and vendors. Schedules are sent out automatically, which is great. Our team has great visibility from a single job level, to a higher level with multiple jobs going on at one time.
Great tool but requires some love
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent project management tool. It gives me the flexibility to build whatever I need on my own!
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the Smartsheet application is extremely painful. It would requires multiple updates to make it a great application. I can't recommend Smartsheet right now because the application is just so weak compared to other applications.

Project management solutions.
A Powerful Tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about smartsheet is that we can share interactive dashboards with our clients, track project progress, and generate detailed reports for our crew tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides of Smartsheet is the learning curve, automation and reporting requires a lot of training. The mobile app also lacks full functionality which is frustrating for workers on site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping me solve giving out tasks to my team that they can track that includes tasks, deadlines, and project statuses.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that smartsheet is simple and easy to use. It's a great resource for creating forms and organizing information from staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't had any issues. I create forms for my colleagues to fill out for administrative office purposes and it has worked great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsmeet has helped my office simply tasks that used to be done via multiple emails and then hours of data entry.
Great UX with SS
What do you like best about the product?
Love the customization of it and how collaborative it is amongst my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some limitations, like I'm looking to pull all the notifications that get sent out in a automatic workflow that was built and there isn't a quick way to get that....I have to go into each workflow and copy/paste the text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a workflow built with SS that goes to many people in our org. It was easy to set up and easy to customize and allows multiple users to colloaborate in the sheets and even allow content/approvals from other non-direct users of SS.
Once you’re comfortable with it, it’s a GREAT tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I use it every day to plan all kinds of marketing projects. I like that you can easily switch from a grid view to a calendar view (e.g. for social media and email calendars). It makes it easy for our team to keep track of everyone's project progression, KPIs, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, I needed time to figure out how to make the most out of SmartSheet, but once you are comfortable with it, it is a powerful tool that makes your day-to-day much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of projects and making them accessible to the whole team helps avoid multiple Excel sheets—some shared, some not—scattered across the cloud, saving valuable time.
Great Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many different uses. You aren't limited to one way of using it!
What do you dislike about the product?
The price, they seem to be increasing how much it costs each year and are hiding great features behind paywalls.

Doing the same daily tasks over and over. Smartsheet's has allowed me to build automation into my work life and automate many different tasks.
