Smartsheet was great - now im concerned

It was a very realiable tool to manage building projects

the new updates have created a very clunky work environment, ive stopped using it alot of the time and have even started looking for alternatives

What do you like best about the product?
From someone that had had little experience (read as none) with computers I've found over the last 10 + years of using Smartsheet it is very easy to set up. Ive not explored all of the features available and like to keep things simple. It suits any experience level, from the basic (like me) to the more experienced - anyone can use Smartsheet. Being able to export an excel copy of a sheet helps keep our data sources for our app updated, easy to make changes on Smartsheet than via the app and much easier to read. Smartsheet is relied on every day by our team and is now an integral part of our operations management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many negatives about Smartsheet. I do find formulas a bit confusing though and the limitation on the number of cells per sheet can be a bit frustrating at times, but I have a work around for that once a sheet has reached capacity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to share with our operations team, allowing them to view and update sheets as required . Keeping our systems updated so our front-line teams find it easier to record tasks performed in a uniform manor for invoicing.

Very easy to use as a project management tool and is intuitive to make tasks and milestones clear to stakeholders.

Mobile app is a bit clunky and slow to load at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet saves me time. My stakeholders can clearly see the progress of their project without any complicated formulas.

What do you like best about the product?
I really love using the In Take form capability of Smartsheet, which makes our in take process quite seamless and efficient.
I like the fact that this form can be accessed and utilized by our external vendors who do not have license to our instance.

What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that creating the dashboard reports is not quite user friendly and might need a bit of additional training to become proficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me solve the issue with the in take requests that might get overwhelming when being initiated via multiple sources like Slack, email, Teams, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Fairly flexible for basic functions. The prodduct performs well as a task tracker or form builder.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smarthseet struggles with anything more than basic functionality. It struggles to compute anything more than the smallest of sheets. Be prepared to create work-arounds to get the systme to do what you need.

I use Smartsheet to gather data on my clients, to organize events, and to create surveys. I love it!

Organization and data collection. Makes my life in sales much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to learn. Powerful tracking tools. Ability to view the history of a cell, and the activity history of a sheet. Ease of collaboration with internal and external partners. Quickly scan the details of a specific row with the comments and attachments.

Some of the advanced functions are a little clunky and lack flexibility. It would be nice to quickly produce charts from the data.

Tracking employee cases. Smartsheet keeps all of the details for a specific employee in one place so it is quick to review what is happening with each case.

Moderate learning curve, but great fucntionality
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it can be linked to external software and still continuously update without need for my input. I use it every day and it is pretty seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was initially a challenge to learn all of the functions coming over from something like Microsoft Excel, but ultimately it can do more than Excel in the areas I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me speed up routinized lists for approval by supervisors, and track activity on projects and proposals.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the how intuitive and user-friendly Smartsheet is. I've been able to build so many systems and customize them to our small company's needs. There's also so much training content which is helpful when trying to create buy-in for a new product within your organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some small things that are cumbersome; mainly having to do with filters and some formula glitches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has allowed us to bring some very antiquated business practices online and create a collaborative atmosphere amongst varied departments. It's been especially helpful from a project management perspective. Everyone in the office is now using Smartsheet and it's been great to see my colleague's growth in skill and use. I'm not exaggerating when I say, that Smartsheet has streamlined every facet of our company. It's not an integral part of our business operations.
