User friendly, anybody can use it without any formation.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to collaborate with different office US and Canada.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some bug when 2 persons work in same sheet at same time. The modified line drop a the bottom of the sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Give us a collaborate mangement of all our projets in US and Canada.
I've had a good experience with Smartsheet but could use improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like that everyone on our team has access to Smartsheet and are able to manage and make their own entries. Working in Constuction hours of communication can be different for everyone and that makes it easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think what I dislike the most is that I have had trouble getting in contact with someone to help my team on our specific needs. We are looking to talk to someone who can walk us through specific things for our project team and we have not been able to talk to anyone. We have taken a couple Smartsheet courses and seminars, but they are more generalized and not too helpful for what we were looking for. Would be easier if you could schedule one on one time with an employee of Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in construction, so Smartsheet helps eliminate the need for all employees to be working and communicating during the same business hours. Due to our field of work our guys can access their Smartsheet on their own, put in their times and projects and this is very helpful to us in admin.
Great Program, Difficult Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
The customization of sheets, reports, and dashboards. I work at a unique real estate company and smartsheet makes it easy to track inventory, commissions, invoices, support requests, and more. Its easy to collaborate with other departments and report to our ownership on goal progress with the reports and dashboards Ive created.
What do you dislike about the product?
The billing process. We were sold on a promotion last year to increase our license count and take advantage of some premium training opportunities. We failed to reduce our licenses before our annual invoice was sent, and now we are working with our account manager to resolve this issue because we have no need for these additional licenses. The communication about this issue has been difficult and I hope we can get this resolved so we do not have to look into an alternative program for Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and collaboration of inventory, invoices, and commissions across our Residential, Commercial, and Business Brokerage departments. The forms are great for our admin team to enter information into our inventory and for Agents to submit requests to our admin department. The Generate Forms feature is one I couldnt live without as this allows me to generate commission disbursements and invoices based on the information in our sheet. The dashboards and reports are great for collaboration and high level views of our department goals and progress.

What do you like best about the product?
Great platform to track projects, from simple to complex projects. It's very easy to use with lots of features. I like how customisable it is e.g. customising columns to different project needs. Easy to visualise the main sheet view with indentations and collapsable groups of rows. It's also great to be able to export as excel file when needed. Customer support is good because when new features are introduced I am made aware.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly like the views other than the main sheet view. E.g. the gantt chart timeline view is hard to fit everything onto one page so exporting that for visualisation outside of the software is next to impossible for a complex project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not necessarily a problem but smartsheet is helping streamline tracking project progress and finances all in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
This is an amazing platform that I have been using for 6 years, every day. It is not only for project management, but it also allows you to digitize multiple processes. The automation options gives you the capability to streamline repetitive administration tasks by effectively making use of workflows. These workflows are easy to set up and implement with a range of templates you can use. If you are starting out with Smarthsheet, there is an absolutely wonderul community of Smartsheet enthusiasts, who has a wealth of knowledge and who is there to support you with any questions. There are multiple integration options that comes with the available API as well as with the premium applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is an indispensable tool that I can't imagine working without, but like any platform, there's always room for improvement. Expanding locking capabilities to individual cells, not just rows and columns, would add greater control. While the ability to freeze columns is valuable, having the option to freeze rows would open up even more possibilities for building effective solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process Digitization & Automation would be the main problem that is solves for me. Collaboration and a centralized data platform allows us to move away from a siloed way of working.

The automations and how easy it is to create them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new pricing plan for the Business plan, where all users must pay for a license. Previously, only creators or sheet owners had to pay for a license, but now everyone does. This makes it more expensive than before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are many processes in which we use Smartsheet, but we have managed to automate and simplify complex workflows, especially those involving internal requests that require approvals and intricate workflows based on variables selected by users participating in different phases of each process.

What do you dislike about the product?
(1) stricted reporting options, it would be useful to add columns esp. "calculated columnns" to a reports.
(2) pivoting data capabilities are restiricted (sheet summary), reports can not pull into excel, only sheets can.
(3) lack of security: for some reasons in a sheetwe need to collaborate with people which has different levels of permissions. i need to get data from an editor but not to let them to write on a locked column or row, where i need some superior permitted ones to edit locked cells. the only way to do this is giving admin permission level to the editors of locked cells. but in fact admin role is a superior permission level which can change the sheet owner and can be able to make big changes like deleting sheets. a permission level between admin and editor is needed.
(4) in sheet automations for sending emails to shared users, we need to send emails with not all shared users but a stricted group which make collaboration more effectively. putting an option to select a "group" to share is necessary for keeping productivity high and avoiding lots of unrelated emails.
(5) the previous pricing method was more understandable. new pricing model based on editor based pricing is not usable. we worked with so many people and the editors are very often change. keeping simplicity is destroyed with new pricing methodology. i strongly recommend Smartsheet to turn back the previous pricing options.

Best software for Remote Working
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent software for office workers, especially EAs and admin assistants for the follow up system. It can be accessible on my phone anytime anywhere. The record keeping is admissible in audits. The simplicity, and straight forward access (Even if you are bad in technology you can understand this). It is affordable. During emergency leave I can easily provide my deputy my work remotely on the spot. I like the new features added recently that allow for automation of follow ups and turning the action items red or moving them from the document to another. This is the best option for those who need to work remotely from home.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Dashboard. It is clanky and doesn't let me use every possible category I want. It's also hard for me to explain to people how to use. As a secretary I don't need it so this doesn't damp my experience with Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me personally, when I had a family emergency in 2023 I had to work remotely for long durations of time. Smartsheet allowed me to digitalize my work and make it possible to continue my work and even delegate it when needbe to my deputy quickly from my phone at any time. In the period after, from the trauma, I started to forget things as well, forget to do follow ups and forget where I was in my work tasks or where I put my files on my computer drive. But with Smartsheet I organized 10s of sheets linking to thousands of my files- fully organizing my workspace and files that it made it easy for me to focus and find them. Having the online service on my phone was immensely useful. Smartsheet is the best tool I found for working remotely Executive Assistants.
