It has some great features, but it's also missing some very basic ones
What do you like best about the product?
Some of my favorite features include being able to add attachments to rows and to comment and tag people. These are great for collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is missing some extremely basic features. For example, you cannot freeze rows or columns (e.g., ones with headers) and you cannot format inside of a cell (i.e., you cannot bold a single word within a cell; the cell is either bold or not). When using forms, you cannot have new items be added to the top of the sheet under your headers. The new rows can be added to the top or the bottom of the sheet, but if they're at the top, they're above the headers. These features are extremely basic and it's surprising that Smartsheet does not have them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to have members of one team add items to review and have another team review those items. It would be nice to have the option to be notified when something is added to the sheet, because Smartsheet still lacks a lot of basic features.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is optimized for project management. You can check the progress with your colleagues, and there are many useful functions such as comments and notifications. It provides basic forms, so it is very easy to use and improves work efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to Smartsheet is that it is not easy to approach at first. All engineers tend to be reluctant to use new tools...hahaha
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very simple to explain with debuggers, progress check and problem notifications. Easy to manage your project with repairable features.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been able to use Smartsheet to help organize a process that was once chaotic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to ingest certain things in bulk into Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solved our problem of organizing and reporting projects and tasks within our projects.
I have loved working with SmartSheet! It's a great collaboration tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility, collaboration, organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is lacking, had a lot of issues resolving one problem. Took me almost a month of back and forth to figure it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to build schedules of content and share them across users, with people able to reorganize and share information easily. So much better than giant email strings!

What do you like best about the product?
I like you can literally log into from anywhere as long as you have internet access. I can also log from the web browser on my phone if absolutely needed. I like that you can give multiple access at different levels of approval based on if they need to be able to edit or just view.
What do you dislike about the product?
I least like that it is a little harder to do things in verses excel. It takes me a little more time to figure out how to do the same process or something similiar sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
mulitple people in multiple locations are able to access it and can update it based on what it going on with what we are tracking.
We use Smartsheet a lot, but do find some features clunky
What do you like best about the product?
The most useful feature is attachements and domments on each row. this allows supporting documents to be attached for quick reference as well as dialogue.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is dated and clunky, often in chats people forget to @ people, start new chats as opposed to hitting reply or dont realized they have clicked on another line when commenting. it's really easy to make mistakes here. Also have to make comments repeatively or upload attachment multiple times is also paionful. This is when multiple lines might related to the same supporting documents or comments.

Allows us to track warrany issues with supporting documents and correspondence

What do you like best about the product?
The easy-to-use interface, where there is an ease of integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many people have Smartsheet compared to Microsoft Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet consolidates project planning, tracking, and reporting into a single platform with features like Gantt charts, Kanban boards, and task assignments.

Everything was very easy to you and navigate.

I did not have any anything negative to say about Smartsheet.

Keeps all of the information about the particular job in one place.
Using smartsheets has been easy and helps with task management.

It is straightforward to use and easy to collaborate with others on.

The loading time for the projects can be slow. Not easy to know who changed what on a tasks list.

It is a simple and fast way to track project progress. It provides a good overview of the projects and tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the automations, ease of use, ability to create reports, metrics. I think it is very helpful for large organizational work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could be more specific in some of the automation creations. I also do not like that we have to share underlying sheets in order for individuals to be able to view reports, as I don't want individuals to go to the main sheet and mess with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing barriers of tracking aspects of the work I do, the ability to quickly pull together data and share with the stakeholders.
