Super user friendly and highly customizable
What do you like best about the product?
I love the collaborative feature of it that our whole team can work on it at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I get problem when I do bulk modification. It saved the changed automatically after sometime when I intend to do it manually. Because after saving the tasks it sends notification to multiple peoples that some modification has been done to tasks in multiple parts but I just want to be sent that in a single notification email using automations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing project and it benefits us by sending timely reminders about task due and upcoming tasks.
It also helps us to manage tasks resource specific.

What do you like best about the product?
the flexibility to be able to use it anywhere, at home, office, out and about etc

sometimes finding the functions to edit sheet cells is quite difficult

one example, is it is helping to keep track of all sample enquiries in one place so its easy to access

It looks neat and similar to excel. Easy to navigate to filter the items i need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have knowledge on its specialty as compared to Excel in order to maximize its use.

Making big data look simple that is easily understandable

What do you dislike about the product?
Not super easy to customize the sheet, it's not excel. So it has limitations that make me frustrated when I use it. Google Sheets is similar to Excel in a lot of ways, but is also very different. I prefer Google Sheets to Smartsheets no question. I don't understand how to use the templates on SmartSheet, it's not intuitive and I feel many of the ways I would approach Excel/Google Sheets does not work the same on Smart Sheet.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to link data and have it update across different views in real-time is invaluable. Smartsheet prevents data being buried in static spreadsheets and allows better tracking of efficiencies across our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
You should be able to link a cell easily to multiple other sheets and have the ability to enable two-way editing for contents of a cell. Think about it like a phone number that exists in multiple directories and can be updated in any place when it changes.
The color palette is also tough. You should be able to format any sheet with a full color wheel.

What do you like best about the product?
Helps keep me and my team organized, really streamlines success. If you are not using Smartsheets, you are losing time and efficiency

We never are behind on tasks that have due dates, easy to grab a snapshot of your worload

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use both individually and collaboratively. I appreciate the ability to do and change so much of the dashboard to make it personalized to my business. Smartsheet is used daily by myself and colleagues with only human errors made and it is easily sharable and understood by non users. We have integrated Smartsheet into all aspects of our business with little to no issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet could be a little cheaper for a yearly subscription, otherwise there are no complaints.

Smartsheet takes most aspects of my work and seamlessly integrates them into one place for me and colleagues.
Great Alternative to Google Excel
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers a more user-friendly experience compared to Excel, with a well-designed and visually appealing interface. Unlike Excel, Smartsheet provides a variety of tools that enable users to personalize their sheets. Notable features include multiple views, such as Grid View, Gantt View, and Calendar View. For my work in a healthcare setting, the Calendar View is especially valuable, as it allows me to efficiently manage patient schedules and track appointments on a daily basis.
Initially, I was not well-versed in using Smartsheet, but after reaching out to customer support, I found the team to be both personable and responsive. They ensured that all my questions were answered and followed up to confirm my issues were resolved. Additionally, the Smartsheet Community Hub has been an invaluable resource, offering a wealth of information and support when I need clarification or assistance.

Due to the wide range of tools Smartsheet offers, it can be overwhelming for first-time users, particularly those who may not be well-versed in tech, as I experienced. For instance, when I first encountered Smartsheet, I found myself confused by terms such as "Automation" and "Proof," which were unfamiliar to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me by visualizing my task priorities, tasks, and my data such as when patients are coming in on which day via the Calendar View.
Effective Tool for Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
I think Smartsheet is a practical tool, providing clear visibility into projects and workflows. The automation features help streamline repetitive tasks, and the ability to customise dashboards makes tracking progress more efficient. I love the templates as they mean I rarely have to start from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you're first getting started it can feel a bit clunky to get use to in contrast to other project/programme management platforms. Once you know how to use it thought it's fine, and I actually prefer the 'too the point' feel. I wish I could have multiple tabs within the same sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: unclear expectations of who does what, solved by: delegation through assigning responsibility for specific elements of project. Problem: keeping people on track with agreed deadlines, solved by: tracking time frames so we can understand our actual vs estimated. Problem: clarity on sequence of steps and dependencies, solved by using schedules and mapping out milestones.

What do you like best about the product?
I like automation and forms. I use it to make forms and collect responses. It it much better than using emails since all the data is collected for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not tried a lot of this but formula functionality seems to lack some compared to Excel. I know that is not their primary so it could just be part of its programing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing contracts and contacts. I also use it to collect survey data and keep the information on one place.
